An oldie but goodie. Hand made ice cream creations is such a treat. The combinations are endless but I'm a creature of habit and tend to stick to the same rotation of flavors lol. The mint chocolate and coffee lovers is a family favorite. Recently the kids have also enjoyed the refreshing mango sorbet. There's usually just 1-2 team members working when I've stopped by after dinner. The place is always clean and the line moves fairly fast. You can't go wrong at Coldstone. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and "how can I help you". I treated my grandson and my aunt and then myself. We all had the gotta have it size but I did a create my own. I love adding those little things like cherries and or butterfinger snickers almonds or peanuts and fudge to my ice cream. I did not add all of that but one can. I love the ice cream here. It's a beautiful Southern California day in Fontana! We decided to stop by Cold Stone for a sweet treat. A man with his son held the door open for us, chivalry isn't dead. :) It wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon but then again the ladies seemed to have a nice rhythm and were working as a team to reduce the line pretty quick. Im not sure what happened to cold stone over the past few years but the prices are crazy, the service is just "okay" and the ice cream is the same thing you can get at any supermarket or store these days. I had called the store and the manager says I need to call Cold Stone corporation. I called and open a case back in March 2025. The store manager has not responded in any way. The store refuses on refunding my money back, even though I purchased through the stores website and they provided a delivery service. My experience with this particular Cold Stone location is up to standards and I have no complaints. They always have a wide variety of different flavors in stock, and the staff are friendly/polite. I've come here in-person numerous times to place orders, as well as ordered from here using third party delivery services (Postmates aka Uber Eats). Every time has been satisfactory and prompt, even when ordering delivery. The only "downside" is that sometimes, on weekends / late nights the line can get quite long if you're ordering in person. These are the days you might want to consider using a delivery service such as Uber Eats, rather than finding yourself waiting in line behind dozens of people (unless you're up for that). Did you know you can make your own custom creations, and take it to-go in a larger container? That can save you a trip down the road to Cold Stone and allow you to enjoy your favorite flavors for many days to come. They accept Apple Pay, credit cards, etc. read more

My husband and I each got a premixed item off the menu with a waffle bowl. It cost us around $18!!!! The service was very nice and helpful. If you want to try any of the flavors, they are more than willing to offer free samples. They have a variety of flavors and an endless amount of mix ins. They have expanded to smoothie and cakes also. This is not a must do all the time because it is unaffordable for my family of 6, but it is a nice date night treat that should not be missed at least once in awhile. As soon as I show my email coupon at the register, I was told that they don't accept coupons through email. I stood on the side for 5-10 minutes as they asked me to login to the rewards app to find the reward and watch the ice cream melt. We are frequent visitors at this location. Well, we were. We'd come here a few times a month, for dessert, birthday cakes and ice cream sandwiches, etc. on this particular evening I spent $52 on two ices creams, two packages of ice cream sandwiches. We were the lucky ones who got the new guys who made a complete mess of our order. While we were patient, clearly seeing that he was not familiar with the process, squashed each piece of mix in until is was unrecognizable. It looked nothing like what we ordered. She took one bite after we paid and completely disgusted. We asked another more tenured employee of it can be remade and she said no and that we'd have to purchase another and that it's policy.
