We decided to order 2 pints of ice cream for pickup at Afters. There was a sign for pickup that mentioned to go to the register, so my boyfriend and I waited and let the girl with false lashes and a high bun know about our pickup. She said she would check out one more person then get the order for us and we were totally fine with that and waited. She ended up letting 4 groups, a total of 11 people be helped ahead of us and made us wait over 15 minutes for an order that was already prepared and just waiting in the freezer in the back. The other girl that was working also helped cash out the people that came in after us, and as I was next in line to ask about my pickup again, she looked at me and walked to the back and didn't come out until we left!! There was only one girl with black hair that finally helped us once I was able to ask her if she could check on it. I appreciate her a lot cause this entire time they made us wait, the order was already fully packaged and waiting in a freezer in the back for 20+ minutes. Please retrain these workers. Because the girl with false lashes and high bun charged a man that came in with a group of 6 guys and only charged him for 3-4 items and the men ended up walking out with free ice cream as well. Hello, I'm writing to share a very disappointing experience my family and I had at the Afters Ice Cream location in Rancho Cucamonga last night around 11:20 p.m. The store manager was extremely rude to my children and refused to sell us cake cones and waffle cones, even though they were clearly available and visible behind the counter. When I asked why they could not be sold, she repeatedly said she "unfortunately couldn't sell them," without giving a clear or reasonable explanation. She also refused to offer any testers. I want to be clear that this was not a matter of affordability we are more than capable of purchasing ice cream, including full containers if needed. The girls serving the ice cream were rude and unprofessional. Each one of them had a attitude towards my family and I when we came in with such a positive attitude. Afterwards, around 10:45 we had asked if we were able to sit inside since it was cold outside, they said no, the inside was closed so we said okay and sat outside where they said it was still open. After my family and I had been sitting outside for about 15-20 minutes, many people had came in and were just occuping the space inside after we were told that we couldn't be in there. At 11:30, a little teenage girl came out saying we had to leave so they could clean up, we then said okay and not even 5 minutes later another little teenage girl came out and practically told us to get up so she could clean. It's hard to recommend just a few, all the flavors are unique and delicious! Our favorite combinations are the warm donut bun with either Cookie Monster or milk and cereal flavor (topped with after flakes, of course!). The store is typically clean, but it can get messy and a bit less friendly when it's busy. There isn't much room to enjoy your ice cream indoors, just a few stools.
