It's a real challenge to get these younger kids* to be manner-able they are to privilege, to entitled. The gentleman on the back row with the glasses never turned around either. Customer service is a must & it's part of the business. It helps keeps businesses open & keeps paychecks for employees. Train your staff to greet their guest, smile (even if they don't want to) or have them to seek employment somewhere else -a place where they are NOT seen! Clean the area where you store the mix-ins-it's dirty pull it all the way out and do a deeper clean. Toss out those old looking products & reclean the jars! The front line should be spotless. I am a business owner & I also could be a "secret shopper", you NEVER know who is entering or exiting your establishments these days I only came here because my Darling Daughter wanted to spend an evening at one of our favorite spots-the ice cream was good-we get the founders favorite with a twist. This was a cute little shop with outdoor seating only. I didn't personally like my choice, mint mint chocolate chocolate, but my family loved it. I thought the chocolate chocolate part was a bit munched. It missed the mark on the mint. My daughter had the strawberry blonde actually went back for more! My son went for the birthday one and loved it. My daughter told me three time what hers was but I told her it should have been called every thing but the kitchen sink LOL it had a lot of stuff. This spot is in a flight path from an airport near by. It was so cool to see how close the planes are going overhead, my granddaughter was in awe! I went here and asked for the Treat or Treat Halloween special, and was assured it didn't have nuts in it. While the blend itself didn't have nuts, they failed to clean the mixing boards and I ended up having an allergic reaction due to cross contamination. the quality was good and the service was good, but you really have to be careful with cross contamination read more

[Summary] I've always loved Cold Stone, but this location is a bit off on one thing--the ice cream wasn't cold enough! The portions are huge, and my girlfriend and I had trouble finishing it! We liked it, but the flavors got a bit overwhelming due to the ice cream not being cold enough, and they gotten really sweet. Both of us love Cold Stone, but it just didn't really hit the spot at this location. We might try again some time later... just to see if we went on a bad day, or maybe this location isn't really all that worth it. This Cold Stone is really nice it's very clean and it's also in the very back of the shopping center, it's kind a hard to find. It's near a nice restaurant I believe it's called Ted's Montana. Usually when I come it's very empty in the store so not many people I guess see this ice cream place, which makes it that much better. standing in line it's a pretty quick wait I have everything here. I've only had Cold Stone one other time in my life; and now I've been questioning myself as to why I never go. My friend is obsessed with their ice cream and I'm so glad she took me. So good! I knew it was going to be good when the line was from the register all the way to the door. Long wait but it was worth it. My friend had to tell me how to order the ice cream because, I was extremely confused. There were so many different flavors to choose from such as: French vanilla, mint chocolate, cotton candy or strawberry to name a few. I didn't know exactly what I wanted so I opted for their own signature creations. I choose the signature one from the French vanilla category (you know you want some.) Mine came with chocolate chips, cookie dough, brownie and caramel sauce. I got the regular size and it was enough ice cream for me. It was so rich and sweet and deliciously good. My friend ended up getting the germachocollate (idk how to spell it.) Her ice cream was good too. I will be returning to Cold Stone again very soon. read more

The ice cream is good but as I walked into the store I noticed a dead cock roach on the floor. The service was slow with only three people working with a long line out the front door. The ambiance was not good because their were high aged kids being loud and disruptive while ordering their ice cream. This place on the inside and outside is not clean or well kept up. The chairs and tables outside were dirty with trash and melted ice on them so it makes it hard to sit outside and enjoy your dessert. The absolute worst service we have experienced and witnessed in our life at an ice cream parlor! Ice cream dates are supposed to be fun, happy, and an exciting experience! I must say, originally, I was a loyal customer to Marble Slab Creamery, but since there are no longer any in my area, I've had to "adjust" to Cold Stone...which hasn't been a bad transition. When I visit the Kennesaw location, in particular, the staff are always so nice and friendly. The ice cream is great and I always enjoy the different recipes for the seasons. The one star is for the service at this location. There were 6 employees working so it was not an issue of being short staffed. I placed an online order and unfortunately you have to select the tip ahead of time. I tipped generously. I arrived at the time my order was meant to be ready. After waiting about 5 minutes, I was finally able to get the attention of one of the workers and let him know I had an online order. He found my slip and let me know my order wasn't ready yet but that he'd 'work on it right away'. After another 5 minutes I caught his eye again only to be promised that his coworker was making my order. The coworker then handed that order to another customer who arrived 10 minutes later. After asking again, they started my order. I would have been better off standing in the regular line. And no way to change my tip afterwards. No apologies. Just annoyance that I kept asking them for my order. My son went to the same location a few nights prior and had a similar, poor service experience. read more

Last time I went here I had the Cinnamon Caramel Gingerbread and, being a gingerbread fan, loved it. I eat so much of this flavor that the only way to get the best value and with the most volume is to get it in that size. The ice cream was really good! I can't really complain about it, but there were 2 minor things that bothered me. The first being that the strawberries were completely frozen, like rock hard, but it was still good. The next thing is while eating my ice cream there was a few weird fluffy brown pieces? I picked them out as I was eating. I got vanilla and coffee flavored ice cream with fudge and strawberries so I don't know why those pieces were in it. It kind of looked like paper towels or something, not entirely UPDATE:: I went back again just yesterday and the waffle bowls are just horribly stale. I couldn't even eat it.
