Left to right: Chausson aux Pommes, Cream Cheese pastry, Pain Au Chocolat, and Ganache Cream cake slice
    Craig G.

The pictures on yelp looked so good that I had to give this place a try. And we stopped by after a date night to pick up a sampler. We got the Pain Au Chocolat just because of reading so many books that mention it. And a Chausson aux Pommes (apple turnover), a Cream Cheese Pastry, and a slice of Ganache Cream Cake. The cake was the most disappointing as the ganache did not have much chocolate flavor despite its rich colors. The cream layers were good, but it was otherwise bland. The cream cheese pastry was the favorite for both of us, with the apple turnover being a close second. The chocolate in the Pain Au Chocolate was richly flavored and it definitely is meant to be paired with a Cafe Au Lait, and doesn't stand as well on its own (this is as intended, so I cannot fault it). Every pastry item was flaky, light, and with that perfect crinkly crunch you'd expect.

    Just a small bite

Great to finally have this in the Kennesaw area! Food was delicious and service was very quick and hospitable. Ambience was clean and welcoming with plenty of seating available.

I'm sadly disappointed in my purchase. I got a green tea roll cake and it was dry and the flavor wasn't the greatest. I've had this before, years ago and from a different location, and it was delicious. I was excited to buy this for my grandma's birthday but ended up being disappointed that no one liked it, including myself. To spend nearly $25 on a small cake for it to be dry is unacceptable to me. I'm not sure if the cake was old or if this was a one-off thing, as it was my first time in this bakery, but be aware that their desserts might not be the best.

Paris Baguette - Kennesaw just opened its newest location, and it's a must-visit! This bakery and café is filled with sweet pastries, savory breads, and light bites -- truly something for everyone. It's self-service, so you grab a tray and pick out your pastries, then head to the register to check out. Certain pastries can be warmed up if you like, and they also serve lattes and other coffee drinks, including matcha. We tried the Dubai Chocolate, Mochi Doughnut, Almond Croissant, Biscoff Cookie Butter Cruffin, and the Pepperoni Pizzetta, and each one was perfectly flaky and delicious. The space is welcoming, and it's a great spot to grab a treat or a light meal. If you're looking for a bakery in Kennesaw or near Atlanta, Paris Baguette is definitely worth the visit!

Wish I could put into words how amazing this place smells. I want to go back and try every single baked good. Palmier was amazing! Staff was helpful with selecting from the amazing variety!

    Milk & Cereal Frappe description

I've been here 3 different times, and each visit always had inadequate service. For this time, I ordered four milk and cereal frappes, which was listed to be topped with "whipped cream and crunchy fruit cereal." When the name was called, the order did not have this and they proceeded to ask if we wanted the whipped cream. On the app, excluding these toppings is an option, but it seemed that the workers were not aware of this. Like they thought we had to add these onto the actual order, which is an option but would cost extra. Why would I do that if the description already states these would be included and is even shown in the image they're advertising? This is not an isolated event; the employees have been doing this. They seem to always forget a part of the order or don't know what they're even selling. Maybe there's something wrong between the app and what is being received by the workers? Not worth the hassle.

Excellent!!! We love this place! While it's a chain , it's unique. Parisian experience. I've had almost everything here. Top picks are king cream, abundant pastry, croissants, grilled cheese, and pistachio strawberry cake. Clean, bright and welcoming. Service was quick and friendly. Go here today. So decadent !!!

Nice spot. I'm not sure why Yelp lists this location as closed because it is very much open. I stopped in yesterday for some pastries. They have a great assortment of sweet and savory options. You walk it. Grab a treat. Line it. Use tongues. It's pretty seamless. This is a large location and plenty of seating. Grab some coffee or a sandwich while you're at it. I'm a fan and will return in the future. Parking is free and ample in the shopping center lot that's attached. I adore that croissant donut, by the way.

I love going to the one in suno california so i'm visiting and thought I'd just stop by and check it out. The food looks can taste the same, and so does the story

Donuts and the pistachio cream-filled croissant that I thoroughly enjoyed
    Mandy R.

This place is impressive! The sheer variety of pastries, savory options, and drinks is awesome. Yes, it's a franchise, but the quality and choices allow something for everyone to enjoy. I'd LOVE to have some of this magnitude in Louisville, KY! Also, the staff were trained so well. The place was new and immaculate. I had a pistachio croissant with pistachio cream filling that was light, fluffy, and delicious. My husband had a custard filled donut puff. He said the custard was some of the best he's ever had.

    Cindy P.

So glad to have a location near us! Love the pastries (the croissants, king donut, mango cream donut, mochi donuts...) and the coffee/matcha always hits. The cakes look better than they taste- but once you've had Asian cake, you'll understand they're never that sweet and the cake is fluffy and light. I prefer a more decadent rich dense cake, but there is a huge selection of other things. Also, the prosciutto fig arugula baguette sandwich was really good too!

I loved the experience! The service was excellent, and the food was fresh and delicious.

Exterior - shares a parking lot with tons of other stores so parking and entering / exiting is a nightmare. Interior - Bright and well lit but most of it is self serve pastry. Be prepared to be jostled, bumped stepped in front of. I visited on a Sunday and no less than 4 children and 2 adults bumped into even though I'm pretty hard to miss. Lol. Price / Value Unsure. They seem pricey especially for prepackaged sandwiches. Customer service I was interested in the chicken salad sandwich or possibly the sourdough turkey melt. I was surprised that a cold sandwich is described as a 'melt' so I tried asking if there was a heated version, the cashier couldn't seem to understand what I was asking. When I asked the same cashier if I could sample the chicken salad, she chuckled and looked at her fellow cashier, then looked back at me and said 'We don't do that here. We don't give out samples.' It was the weird, condescending way she said it that made me feel unwelcome. I just said, 'thank you' and went back over to look at the other sandwich offerings. Keep in .mind, when I approached the counter, there was only one other customer (finishing up), but the cashiers and the rest of the folks behind the counter seemed much more interested laughing and joking with one another than helping customers. I'm all for people enjoying their jobs and having fun at work - but it shouldn't be at the sacrifice of good customer service. And in my lifetime, I've visited hundreds of cafes, sandwich shops, bakeries, restaurants, etc - it's really not that odd to provide a sample of something like tuna salad, chicken, salad, etc. Some folks even OFFER samples without prompting. There was a young woman replenishing the baked goods (short, Asian with long hair) and she was rude as well. She didn't bump into me, but she did bump into several others with no 'excuse me' and seemed very annoyed by all the customer 'getting in her way.' I get it, because I felt the same, lol - but it's not really the customer's fault that this set-up is like this and I'm not sure how they'd solve that issue other than putting up ropes to corral people off when staff needs to replenish - lol. Food They have a lot of 'pretty,' social-media photo worthy items, but I still don't understand the business model. There are lots of cashiers and there were at least 2 people running back and forth from the kitchen, re-stocking the pastries and baked goods. But they don't / won't heat pastries or 'melt' or heat any sandwiches. Overall I wouldn't go back - not because of the crowds - because I'm sure they're not always this slammed, I'd avoid simply because the staff was rude. Gave off that "mean girls back in highschool" vibe and I'm too old for it.

Jordan recommended Lush Cakery to my fiancee and me (our planner does not accept kickbacks, but instead passes on any discounts she may get on to us) and that is enough praise for me. My fiancee, through her own research, noticed that Lush Cakery has had a hand in a lot of nice weddings in Atlanta. She absolutely loves the look of Lush's cakes (she describes them as beautiful, fun, and creative). I asked Kat how many weddings she did last year and she told me, if I recall correctly, 185 (all by herself!). She doesn't plan on doing that many per year going forward, but she definitely has the experience and is well known in the Atlanta wedding community. Kat moved into a cute space just off Marietta Square a couple years ago. There's a retail space, open four days a week, and a tasting room, available by appointment only. The shop can also be booked for small events like bridal and baby showers. Kat was waiting for us promptly at our appointment time. My fiancee and I were accompanied by our planner for the tasting. The tasting room was quaint and charming. It reminded my fiancee of an attractive sitting room, like something you would see on HGTV. We got to know Kat and she got to know us. She let us swipe through cake designs on her iPad while talking to us about our wedding, our tastes/visions for our cake, and how our cake would align with our wedding overall. For example, we talked about the season of our wedding, whether it's going to be indoor or outdoor, etc. These kinds of things can affect the ingredients and flavors of our wedding cake. There was a menu at the table with Lush's most popular wedding cake flavors. We tasted the following six flavors: * Salted caramel * Amaretto white chocolate red raspberry * Triple chocolate hazelnut * Grand Marnier strawberries and cream * Cinnamon * Cream cheese pound with lemon curd Kat had the first five flavors in the list above ready to go on a plate for each of us. The last one was requested by my fiancee who was interested in trying the lemon curd after seeing it on the menu. My eyes lit up as I bit into these cakes. What impressed me most about them was actually not their flavor, but their consistency. Every single slice was perfectly fluffy and moist. They were tender and delicate with good crumb. Flavor-wise, they were sweet, but not too sweet. My favorite flavors were the salted caramel and the strawberries and cream. My fiancee's favorite flavors were the amaretto white chocolate red raspberry and the triple chocolate hazelnut. My fiancee thought both the strawberry and cinnamon tasted delicious, but were a little too simple for her tastes. The cream cheese pound cake with lemon curd was outstanding, but we agreed that we liked the lighter, less dense textures of the other cakes for our wedding cake. Everything we tried tasted great, so what it really came down to here was personal preference. We want a classic, elegant looking cake so Kat suggested a traditional three-tier round cake. We'll have it decorated with flowers from our florist, Julie Coffin of Unique Floral Expressions, who is one of the rock stars of the Atlanta wedding industry and whom Kat has worked many weddings with. We chose our cake and icing flavors, along with a fun design extra, and were quoted under $700 for our cake (tax and delivery included). The cake will serve 100. We'll have more than 100 guests, but there will be other dessert options too. Kat's quote is about $200 higher than another quote we recently received, so Lush is on the higher side. However, the other quote did not include an extra design element and the Lush quote also includes a "complimentary" anniversary tier a year after our wedding. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a date. We received Kat's proposal via email quickly after our meeting. My fiancee had a question and it didn't take long for Kat to respond. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. Now we just have to make a decision! Throughout our wedding planning process so far, this has turned out to be the most difficult decision yet.

I felt that there wasn't enough almond flavoring and, the crust was a bit dry. CEs: While it was packed with filling, I think, someone in the kitchen messed up, as there was a distinctive coffee taste (I don't like coffee), rather than just the custard or, vanilla taste. Had it not been for that, I would have given them 4 Stars. Why not 5? Well, I thought $6.00 (x2) and $7.00 each is a bit expensive. Especially, considering the size of the CEs and BAFT. For sure, I won't worry about a special trip here again. And, if we should stop here again, I doubt if I'd even bother with the eclairs (maybe a fruit one???).

Upon entry, I immediately noticed the neat clean appearance, seasonal cake displays and the variety of flavors and decided to purchase a few slices of cake too. On this visit, I selected the plain pound cake, red velvet cake and carrot cake slices and chose the white chocolate for my freebie. The slices of cake are big and the frosted ones had a nice cake to icing ratio. Each were priced at $5.95 before tax. When it was time to check out, the cashier entered my phone number into her system and explained that I needed to complete registration by adding my name and other details. This is because they have a newer rewards system as of last summer. She provided a QR code for me to scan to finish registration. I have been a member for over a decade and already thought I was registered fully, especially since I typically redeem my free birthday cupcake each year at a Metro-Atlanta location. I was able to get my three slices for under $20 along with the cupcake. When it came time to eat the desserts I was pleased. The cakes tasted fresh! The pound cake was sweet, moist and probably the best I've tried in years. The red velvet cake was PERFECT. Not dry, cream cheese frosting was sweet but not too sweet and NO aftertaste. My least favorite was the carrot cake & not because it wasn't good, but just because it was a bit dryer than the other two cake slices. I opted for the white chocolate cupcake for my freebie and it didn't dissapoint me either. They also have a BOGO free day on Tuesday for all cake slices. The cakes are delicious & worth the price. I will return to this location.

We were also looking for a general late afternoon snack... small enough that we could still eat a full dinner. Paris Baguette delivered on both of these items. Overall, I was impressed with the selection of everything. I had K-dogs on the brain for some reason and the closest I could get to that was the pastry frank. My niece had the hash brown bread with ham and cheese. I definitely preferred the latter a bit more, mostly because it's rare to find potatoes served in this way. We took a variety of the mochi donuts home. They tasted a bit stale unfortunately. I'd definitely come back to try the croissants, cakes, and other offerings. It was not particularly busy when we were there so it was easy to find parking right out front and be served right away.

Most notable was the cleanliness of the store and the amount of customers coming in and out. I was informed by a young lady at the cash register that the cake would need to be made fresh and it would take anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes to complete. I agreed to wait for the time and provided my card for the purchase and was not provided with a receipt. After 10 minutes, I re-entered the store after waiting in my car and the cake still was not completed. I waited in an additional 20 minutes for the cake. I was handed the box and left on my way. My family and I cut the cake and discovered that there was molded strawberries on top. It was slightly difficult to detect due to the fuzzy white nature of the mold and the cream that was also white in color. We immediately stopped eating the cake. With many festivities happening with our family, we reached out to Paris baguette and was provided with a phone number for the owner to follow up. We have been in correspondence back-and-forth in order to try to rectify this situation, but the response has been somewhat slow, despite the fact, there are photos of the cake and a transaction from the bank, despite not having a receipt. This is a quick situation to fix with issuing a refund and apology, but that has not happened thus far. Our family has consistently used Paris Baguette at various locations for special events and have always been satisfied with the products that we have received. More training perhaps is needed and how to handle a customer who is dissatisfied with the product and also in how to rectify situations moving forward.
