She was very professional, polite, and patiently waited while we figured out what we wanted. My youngest decided to try the new strawberry s'mores flavor. It had the perfect balance of strawberry marshmallow ice cream and graham cracker pieces. I felt like a drizzle of chocolate fudge would have made it absolutely perfect, but it was still really good. My oldest was in the mood for chocolate and chose the Chocolate Devotion, but swapped the chocolate chips for Oreo pieces. Combined with the brownie pieces, it created a very rich and decadent chocolate flavor that she really enjoyed. I placed an order for a graduation cake more than a month in advance for my son's high school graduation. I specifically requested that the cake be made using his high school colors while incorporating the flavors and design elements of Cold Stone's signature Strawberry Passion cake. I ordered a 12" x 18" cake and paid over $130, with a scheduled pickup time of 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. On the day of pickup, I arrived at approximately 4:30 PM to collect the cake. It quickly became apparent that my cake had either not been made or had not been prepared as ordered. Staff disappeared into the back and, after waiting more than 25 minutes, returned with what appeared to be a hastily altered cake. It looked as though the design from another cake had been scraped off and replaced with makeshift decorations in my son's school colors. During this time, I was also told they were trying to find a box for the cake. For an order placed over a month in advance and costing more than $130, I expected a professionally designed cake that reflected the specifications discussed when I placed the order. Instead, I received a cake that looked rushed, unfinished, and nowhere near the quality I anticipated for such an important milestone celebration. Graduating from high school is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I trusted Cold Stone Creamery to help make the occasion special. Sadly, the final product and pickup experience fell far short of expectations. While I will likely continue stopping in for ice cream, I will not be ordering custom cakes from this location again. I placed a order via the app. Honestly, it's a little outdated and hard to navigate with adding things to the cart, using my rewards, and using up gift cards. My go to has been the banana pudding with vanilla wafer mixing. The texture is definitely different than your typical ice cream. It almost has a bouncy and chewy texture and the banana is not too overpowering or sweet. I went with a large quart size with the waffle chocolate dipped in Sprinkles. The first thing you notice when you walk in the cold stone is the smell of the waffle cones. It took a minute for my order to be prepared, even though I didn't online pick up, but thank goodness there was no line. When there's a line there's normally only one worker and it takes a bit of time to be made and mixed in since it's not just a simple scoop. the ice cream here is I would say more on the expensive side compared to other ice cream shops and I wish they had more variety in flavors and seasonal offerings. If you're non-dairy there's a couple of dairy free options for you. They have bowls and cone waffles that are dipped in chocolate and have sprinkles or nuts on them. I find them to be almost too fragile and they don't retain their shape so I end up, crushing it up to make bits and pieces for toppings for my ice cream. One thing I wish there was improvement on is their flavors and depth of flavor profiles. Many other flavors basically just taste like vanilla to me, but it died a different color. read more

She had her kids running all over the store while customers were trying to eat -- I couldn't even enjoy my ice cream in peace. People are new, but he was slower than the dmv sloth. He kept making mistakes and had to remake my order twice. When I finally got my ice cream, it wasn't even full to the rim of the cup. This place looks descent however the worker that was there (teenage boy with a big mole between his eyes) refused to wear gloves when handling the ice cream. When asked to wear gloves he replied with a smart remark "I'm not going to scoop it with my hands sir" then proceeded to put gloves on. This is probably the grossest Cold Stone I've ever stepped into. Half of the lights don't work, it's extremely dusty, their walls and ceiling are tinted yellow from grease, and a broken wind chime is on the handle of their front door. Not to mention their register system is broken and covered in tape. If there's no one in the front of the store, you have to ring a bell. Talk about tacky. Service was odd since they insisted on packaging my order to go even though I wanted to eat it at the location. The price for two smalls with tips was over $17.00 which is ridiculous. I want to start by saying that everyone that I interacted with at this location was so nice, but the cake I ordered was not the cake I got lmao Photos of the reference design from their site, my photoshopped version, and the actual cake I got are attached. Enjoy a good "nailed it" laugh! My best friend's son was having a Hulk themed party and they specifically wanted an ice cream cake. I couldn't find that anywhere, so the closest I came across was a Spider-Man cake ON THE COLD STONE WEBSITE. I thought if they did the same exact design with different colors, it could work since I'm providing my own cake toppers. I printed that out for reference and Photoshopped a version with purple, green, and black frosting to show exactly what I wanted and personally went in store to see if it was possible. They guy told me he didn't think it was a problem and took my order and let me know they'd reach out for any issues -- this was TWO WEEKS in advance. Only thing different would be the name on the side would be on top instead, so I bought my own building cut outs to fill the sides. I heard nothing from them so a few days prior I called to make sure it was still possible on the off chance I needed to place an order elsewhere...they said it was no problem, again. Day of the party just TWO HOURS before, I got a call that they didn't have black food coloring and the purple was more of a lavender color. I drove to the craft store to buy food coloring and dropped it off to Cold Stone. When I came back to pick it up it was on the way to the party, so I had no choice but to take what they made. Bless this girl's soul that attempted this, but it is nowhere near the reference. I even felt bad that I was a "complicated order" (even though they promoted this cake on their website) and tipped her. It was honestly so atrocious that I stopped at Smith's to buy a regular birthday cake and miraculously got lucky with a plain white cake with green and purple frosting. I know the employees that work here aren't professional cake decorators, but I gave two weeks notice and a literal photo of what it should look like. I tried to reach out to make sure I'd get the right cake and they didn't even attempt to make it until a couple hours before I needed it. In my opinion, the frosting "decor" they needed to do wasn't even complicated so I'm super let down that I wasted time and money on this. Brought my daughter here yesterday for some ice cream. I never thought to check the yelp reviews but wow, this place really had its horrible times.. I grew up going to this ice cream place since I used to live by Rhodes ranch during my high school years. So that's how I knew of the location.. But I mean my experience yesterday wasn't bad at all. It was pretty busy for a 2 man team. Both guys helped each customer get the ice cream they wanted with tasting flavors and choosing toppings.
