Me and my family went in after a trip home from California and it was super busy, Ashton on the other hand helped everyone as fast as he could without stressing and still managed to spark a conversation with all the customers he was helping. Customers continuesly coming in and the the girls were doing a great job assisting, the guy on the other hand was nothing but obnoxious with his comments , and when the girls would ask for help he would have a smart remark and not help them at all. Non stop joking around as if no customers were around and not to mention cussing was his first language while we were in there. Will not be returning to this location due to lack of perfessionalism from that guy. I visited last night for some ice cream, and could tell they were extremely busy. Regardless, the workers still created a positive environment (even despite numerous nasty customers). I've been going to this Cold Stone for a while now and while there are some ice cream shops closer to me than this one, I always choose the Sahara Cold Stone simply for its ambience. Most ice cream shops have teenagers working the till who couldn't care less how they treat customers, but this place is definitely different. You can tell they actually care about their jobs. Specifically, I typically get the best service from Taiylor, Rihannah, and Leah. Normally I don't rate on Yelp, but I noticed an incident yesterday and a review from yesterday that made me decide otherwise. I hope their nasty interaction with that family does not affect their workings, as I believe they did the best with how that family was speaking to them. I always believe in sticking up for teenage workers (as people are more inclined to act unkindly towards them). I will continue to go back to this store with many friends. They have average selection of ice cream nothing super crazy (strawberry, oreo, apple, chocolate, vanila...) i like the original taste of ice cream. We decided to go with one scoope of strawberry with gummy bear toppings (lol, my daughter loves gummy bear but it wasn't a good choice with a ice cream). They take your ice cream and topping and blend it together. But gummy bears wasn't a good choice so I need to take away. I didn't know were they old or when you blend them with ice cream they become frozen. So don't ever mix your ice cream and gummy bears!!! Oreo was perfect, creamy and delicious. My son choose for his topping mini M&M and this wasn't a good choice.I see they have vegan options with almond and coconut milk. They also selling cakes and cupcakes. The only thing that I didn't like was limited space inside. Each table has two chair and if you come with your family of 4 it is impossible to accommodate. I visited the Cold Stone location at 9350 W Sahara Ave (Ste 140, Las Vegas, NV) on the night of 4/25/2026 with my three children( sister and niece) The issues began with Riannah's attitude.Out of respect for the business and the other customers present, I waited until the store was nearly empty to address the disjointed service and the aggressive way our items were placed on the counter. I wanted to handle the matter discreetly to avoid causing a scene or embarrasment to the young employees. Instead of a professional response, I was met with extreme hostility by Taylor(male).He eventually demanded I "put the chairs back" myself and pointed at the "Right to Refuse Service" sign, asking me to leave.I had to ask Riannah several times to let me finish my sentences. Taylor then began interrupting as well. While I was attempting to speak with Riannah, Taylor grabbed a chair and began screeching it back and forth against the floor, making a loud, piercing noise to drown out our conversation. The behavior only escalated from there. Taylor became dismissive and passive-aggressive, calling me "rude" for simply clarifying my order. When I asked for a supervisor's name, he refused, stating, "I don't need to give you that information; my supervisor will just talk to me about it." It is deeply disappointing that a calm attempt to provide feedback resulted in such disrespectful and childish behavior. These employees lack basic customer service training and accountability. Nothing special about this location. The woman helping us was really nice and had a great smile the entire time! They were fully stocked in each flavor. I sampled the Chocolate, which was good, a bit too rich for me. I ended up going with the Cotton Candy, because it was my favorite as a child. My sister got a scoop of Cotton Candy and Oreo. Ice cream was good, just as you'd expect. The only reason I'd have to lower my rating is because when you check in on Yelp, you're given a 20% off coupon, but they didn't accept it. So I visited at 745pm on a Friday evening. The store had a sign up stating that the cannot take cash (card only) they were also out of large cups for shakes and all lids for shakes and also waffle cones. I brought in a coupon I had for a free "love it" size and was initially told they can't accept it because they are out of waffle cones. I asked if they could just put it in a bowl and they continued to argue. I finally got them to accept the coupon but was again told the flavor I chose was not possible with the coupon even if I paid the difference. They told me that since nothing was wrong with the cake they would not provide a refund. They did give me an email address to contact the manager, and the girl working there wrote it down. I tried to send an email and either it was written down wrong or she purposely gave me a bogus address because my email bounced twice because there was no such address. I finally reached the manager to complain about poor customer service. The manager defended the employee and said she was sure the employee did not promise a refund, which was a complete falsehood. The manager kept saying there was no mistake so no refund...ignoring the fact that the cake was not available at the time it was ordered for and needed. Bother the manager and the employee were rude and short with me. Ultimately the manager actually HUNG UP on me!!! What extremely poor management and customer service. He had specifically requested a Cold Stone ice cream cake for his birthday this year and he sent me a link to the exact cake he wanted. So I went to the Summerlin Cold Stone Creamery website and just tried my best to custom order a cake online that looked similar to the one he wanted. In the comments, I wrote the name of the cake as it was displayed on the website hoping they would be able to duplicate it. But I just wasn't sure if it could be done. So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. So then came the day of hubby's birthday. The time to pick up the cake had arrived. I walked in and picked up my order, already noticing how much it looked like what is apparently the cake of my husband's dreams haha. Though I had only been able to choose a round cake when I placed the order, I really loved how they had made it a square to match the cake from the website!!
