I was in between appointments and needed to find a place to work for a bit. Starbucks is my go-to if I don't have any meetings as they tend to be a bit too loud. This Starbucks actually was pretty quiet, which was a nice change. I was greeted when I walked in and when I went to pick up my mobile order, the barista informed me that they were out of the cold foam I ordered. She offered to make any other flavor of cold foam, so I opted for the gingerbread flavor and it was delicious! I try and go dairy free as often as possible and it was great to have that option with the cold brew. I applaud Starbucks for FINALLY doing the right thing by no longer charging for non-dairy options and for expanding their offering of flavors. While working at this spot for over an hour, it was consistently busy but the house was never bad and the employees were friendly to everyone. read more

Big thank-you to Starbucks Lake Mead! I accidentally placed my order at another store, but needed to pick it up here. When I arrived, Manager Michelle and her staff were ready to help. They smiled, checked my name, and said, "No problem--we've got you." They worked with the other store and fixed everything in minutes. My drink was made right, and I didn't have to do anything extra. No delays. No stress. They even offered a lid, napkins, and a straw, and asked if I needed anything else. The store was clean, and everyone was kind. Came to leave a remark about how embarrassingly bad the customer service is, but looks like a bunch of people already beat me to it. Came in today to get something nice and refreshing to drink and walked out due to standing at the register for with no help. The entire place was quiet. 5 people behind the counter, no one in drive thru and TWO people at the registers completely ignoring me while I'm staring in their face. When I walked in they said welcome in we'll be right with you, but they stood there doing nothing, one was drawing on a piece of paper and the other register person was storing a croissant in the fridge. So I turned and left, cause this was supposed to brighten my day not ruin it. As I was walking out I turned around to see if they even noticed and the one that was drawing on a piece of paper stood up to the register. So you wait till I leave to do your job?? I went in because the drive-thru line was backed up with more than eight cars in line. Inside wasn't any better. There were only two baristas working, and there were about eleven people in line/waiting for their order. (This was around 4:30pm). These women were doing the best they could, but clearly needed another associate, or two to assist. I waited about 28 minutes for my (2) drinks. It should never take that long to get coffee. I'm not sure if someone screwed up the schedule, or called in sick, but a manager should have been there to help handle this situation. . read more

This place is clearly all new staff. Since the new crew it's been seriously horrible! You will spend 25 minutes minimum in the drive through even when you're the 2nd car in line because these people are sooooo slow and incompetent. You will get to the window and pay and still sit another 10 mins waiting for your one tall drink! And more than half the time it's made wrong and disgusting. Or you get to the window and the girl will just stare at you like she doesn't know what to do, no greeting, no telling me the total just a blank dumb stare. I've given them a fair chance to get with the program here (a month or more before writing a review) and it's not getting any better. read more

The most horrible customer service I've experienced. I had bad experiences here before but didn't really want to write reviews, but last night was the last straw. I went in for the free coffee and the girl on the drive thru was very condescending in her voice almost laughing in a way. She told me I had to pay extra for the flavor and the creamer when I had five family members that went to get their coffee at other locations and sent me their orders and they did not get charge for the basic flavor and creamer. It was ridiculous because why in the world would I want a BLACK COFFEE WITH NO FLAVOR OR CREAMER???? it was ridiculous. It definitely turned me off to return to this location and to starbucks in general, I have cut starbucks out of my routine and decided to go to Dutch bros instead. I obviously left because what the heck!! You want to give me a black iced coffee plain, I understand you have to pay for the other expresso beverages and other fancy flavors but I know MANY MANY people that got their 3 pumps of flavor and creamer at no extra charge. Terrible Customer service!!! The young lady who was wearing glasses and doing inventory this morning was beyond rude! They messed up my drink, so I had to get out of my car and go inside. She was so rude she asked if I paid for the correct drink like duh! It's in my app history! I can't believe there's a Starbucks I've been to that I haven't reviewed. I had a medical test this morning and only water was allowed before the test. After two hours at the radiology center, I was looking forward to some coffee. This Starbucks is on my way home. I was going to order on the app so it would be ready but I was there without getting any lights. I parked, went inside, ordered, and then waited about 3 minutes for my quad espresso over ice. Worst Starbucks in the chain. I have written complaints to Starbucks corporate many times and nothing every gets done. Wrong drinks, very long waits ( 20 minutes at drive thru yesterday, so I left with only 2 cars ahead of me), never see the same employee twice, store lets cars block access to a thru road in the shopping plaza and even instructed me to do it but I refused, incredibly rude and untrained employees inside the store and complete lack of customer service 50% of the time. Horrible, I ordered 2 frappes got nothing but ice chunks in both no one was in line so it wasn't busy, it took forever for the staff to take my order then another couple minutes to give me my ice filled Frappe. Why aren't they blended? Maybe it's time for a new Blender Starbucks this is embarrassing, for 2 ice chunk filled frappes that came to just about $14 I'm beyond upset it's hot out so I'm not going back and they don't give a receipt so what good does that do. WOW, customer service is lacking at this location. I ordered grande ice caramel macchiato thru drive thru. I was given hot coffee, I told the barista that it should be iced. He looked at me, no apology just took it and yelled can I get this iced. He walked away from window got himself some water and put on a large straw hat. Blonde roast is always darker and the strongest caffeine cooler they have! Not sure if they just put less in and take the rest home?!?!? Anyway it's time for Dutch bros coffee and see how they are. Or it could be me!?!? Since the blonde roast was so weak I had the pike place roast that really tasted good. The drinks and food at StarBucks are amazing! I like to get the Impossible Breakfast sandwich as food, and a Strawberry Açaí Refresher. Service is great as well as their ambiance! I recommend getting this order or even going to Starbucks if you've never been! read more

As Starbucks goes, this is about the smallest one I've ever frequented. It also has the absolute worst parking availability. The drive-through is even worse since the line impedes the already limited parking spaces by wrapping around to the front of the store, making maneuvering your car virtually impossible. I can see they have two bathrooms (I think because there is a second door, but I've never looked closely), but I've never seen the second one open in dozens of visits here. But the people here are pleasant and accommodating enough. And they are adhering to mandated safety protocols with masks and gloves. With all Starbucks, the bottom line is the taste and quality of their coffee drinks, and this one is as good as the rest. If I have my choice, I will generally go to a more convenient Starbucks. But in a pinch, this one serves up quality coffee as well as the next. read more

Horrible service from Cass for a very simple order. She was very rude and had a bad attitude. If you don't like your job do something else. How can you mess up a simple blended ice water request? I wanted to write about the service at this location. The girl I spoke with was super friendly. I spoke with a girl by the name of Nadia. I asked her a question and she gave me an answer she even recommended a drink for next time since she had seen what I had ordered. I will definitely be coming back to this location again next time I'm in town. If all of the employees at this location are like her, then this is a solid definition of what great customer service should be like. When I asked her if she was a supervisor, she said sadly no.
