Unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. One employee with glasses and highlighted hair was extremely loud throughout my visit, yelling from the back of the store and making it difficult to enjoy my ice cream. On top of that, she was openly using profanity and gossiping with coworkers where customers could clearly hear. The behavior felt unprofessional and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I understand that employees talk while working, but customers shouldn't have to listen to shouting, cursing, and workplace drama while trying to enjoy their visit. Based on Service. Didn't even stay for the ice cream. Vibes were totally off. Took my two daughters (Hispanic) in to have a treat ---- from the moment we walked in, the 4 Hispanic girls behind the counter were whispering and side eyeing. We asked if there was a dairy free option, one girl pointed and said "the two at the end"... I tried to get clarification on the two and they all just sat there staring at us. Daughter one asked for a sample, then one of the girls clarified that one of the flavors I suggested that was in fact "at the end" was not dairy free. With these vibes, we decided against Cold Stone and went to the ice cream shop down the block. I don't make many negative reviews, but... We went to the store with 15 minutes left before closing based on the orders online and the doors were locked and employees were closing up. If your hours online are wrong, fix them. If not, then these employees decided to close early. It disappointed my 10 year-old kid and as we walked away another family had the same experience. Extremely disappointing. read more

The worst customer service we had so far, this girl completely accused us of ordering more than what we finally decided and she "she has such a mean tone" you mean you only ordered two instead of 3 after the fact that we made it and I answered her back saying I did not. It's just a Debbie downer to a wonderful Leavenworth day trip and she has such bad customer service and threw the ice cream and kept on stomping she tossed the ice cream with a measure of disgust. Would not like to go back here and also would not recommend it to anyone if they want good service, the ice cream was even so badly placed on our cup, lots dripping on the side. The place is cute with a pleasant ambiance. My decaf Americano was awful. The coffee was likely old. They're was no flavor at all. I went back and paid for another shot. The staff was kind of obliviant to the issue. It didn't help the drink much at all. I would really have appreciated better service. Every year when we visit leavenworth we visit cold stone creamery.. we enjoy the peppermint chocolate while the rest of the flavors are okay or disappointing.. we ordered the chocolate devotion (it was okay did not get any chocolaty flavors inspite of this having brownie and fugde), the pistachio (this was majorly disappointing had NO flavor of pistachios and had a strong flavor of artificial color and flavor both) and finally we ordered the peppermint chocolate which was the best of what we ordered.. great location right next to christmas lights so it can get crowded.. read more

The attitude of the girls who work here is unreal. I was in a line of about 5 customers today (and they were courteous customers) but the three girls working were so incredibly rude to each and every one of us. Eye rolling, side eye, no manners, ignoring questions, etc. We could tell our business was really unwanted here, and they didn't want to be bothered. . Not very impressed with this place. Went in to get a iced drink and half way through the process I was then told they ran out of mix...? How do you do that or do you just not want to get more or make it? Was told I would only be charged for a small which was fine bit then the drink had so many ice chunks it was hard to drink it thru the straw. My daughter and I love Cold Stone! We make it a tradition to come here when I pick her up from camp every year. Yummy ice cream and so many options to make it even more fun! I LOVE the Founder's Favorite mix and my daughter tries all the different flavor combos and so far they have all been fabulous. Expensive for the poor service that you receive. I asked my server if they had pralines to which she emphatically replied, "Yes!" What I got was plain pecans in my ice cream. The two ice creams I paid for came to just over $15 and I had gotten a twenty out to pay. I told the cashier, "Here, I have a quarter," to make it easier for her to make change. Her response was, "We'll just round your change (down) to $5." If she had asked if it was okay to do so, I wouldn't have given it a second thought.
