It was good. It was Easter night and not much was open but we wanted ice cream. The store was moderately busy. There were 3 team members working bust it was slow. But the speed could have been normal as it's been a long time since we've been to a Cold Stone. The standing and seating areas were fairly dirty with debris, napkins and straw wrappers - so it loses a star for me. Still - we'd come back to this Cold Stone as the concoctions are that good and the staff is pleasant. We both ordered Like It sized cones. They were very good. read more

The Oreos added the perfect crunch and rich chocolate flavor, while the cookie dough tasted just like the kind I bake at home--soft, sweet, and delicious. The creamy vanilla tied everything together perfectly, and the texture was spot-on. The shop itself was super pretty inside--sleek, clean, and had a really chill vibe that made it nice to just sit and enjoy. We went to this restaurant to purchase a peanut caramel apple. There were non available. There was three employees working, just standing around doing nothing. I was told that they could make one. After I waited 15 minutes I was told it would take 30 to 45 minutes. I called back almost 2 hours later and I was told they were having issues and it was going to take 45 minutes before it would be ready. I also inquired about the cost of a box of candy and non of them knew the cost. So they just started pulling numbers out of the air, management really needs to assess the capabilities of their employees. Today, when I called the store to request the district manager's contact information, William refused to provide it. He became defensive and hostile, stated the call was being recorded, and told me I was not welcome at the store--despite not knowing who I was or the purpose of the call. He then hung up on me and later told me not to contact the store again. I am deeply concerned by William's behavior and how it may be impacting the morale and safety of the young staff working under him. This situation requires immediate attention and corrective action. If this matter is not resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate it by filing a formal complaint with the EEOC and other relevant authorities. read more

Customer service here is lacking. This is supposed to be a place for ice cream yet more times than none when I order a cone or waffle bowl they dont have any. Today I was informed no dipped bowls and not offered an alternative so when I asked for regular bowl I was given some attitude then the guy walked to the back and dug in a bucket and came back and said the cones were stale did I still want it. I said yes and then placed my order. When I got to the forth topping I was told I can only have 3 toppings because some girl "Melissa" told the two boys thats all they could serve. I said charge me extra for adding toppings and was told no. Aggravation to say the least. There was some words of frustration between the boys about taking some heat from "Melissa" but allowed me to have more than 3 toppings at which time I declined. If its gonna be this hard to order and even told no to paying extra I didnt need the extra topping either. Retrain your staff. read more

Cold Stone Creamery is located in The Shops on Broad right off the 287 freeway, serving up delicious creamy ice cream and more such as candy apples, fudge, and chocolate pecan clusters! We came through on a weekday in the evening and waited roughly 5 minutes to be served due to the line from everyone wanting ice cream. Inside, there are tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy your dessert and also have restrooms on site as well. They have many menus posted up about their signature creations, which involve ice cream that is mixed with other ingredients such as cookies, sprinkles, and other various toppings. They also have a display case showcasing all the ice cream flavors they carry and are willing to give you any sample you would like. We went ahead and sampled the cotton candy and mint chocolate chip in which they tasted amazing but went ahead and ordered the Oreo overload, which consisted of double oreo cookies, chocolate chips and fudge in sweet cream. We also got the birthday cake remix, which was a cake batter ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, brownies, and fudge. We went ahead and got one in a waffle cone and the other in a cup. The ice cream was rich and creamy and definitely lived up to its name. It was packed with flavor, and the toppings played a tremendous role in the making. The brownie was nice and moist and complemented the cake batter, while the sprinkles gave a nice sugary taste in every bite. All of the staff and employees were super attentive and were eager to serve us. The store manager was even on site helping out getting the line moving and promoting their fabulous reward card program. Overall, it was definitely a sweet treat to have, and I'm looking forward to enjoying another one soon or maybe trying some of the candy apples, caramel, and fudge they also serve. read more

I ordered two cakes. 1 for a birthday and 1 for Father Day. I went to pick up my cakes and 2 young men where very nice but could not find my order. Then another gentlemen came out and looked for them in the store and asked when was cake ordered. I showed him my order confirmation and charges on my phone, and he said that they never got my order. He said there was a glitch in system. I paid $107 for my cakes. He said that I could get 2 signature cakes, and they were less than the 2 cakes I ordered. I said could I get a refund for the difference in my ordered cakes and the signature cakes. He said the refund was $5.00 and the difference should have been $19.95. He argued with me on this and could not give me a clear reason why I could not get the refund. He went from nice to irritated. I never got the refund, and your manager William said I was irritated but still could not explain. I walked without the cakes, and I said I wanted a full refund of my original order. I said thank you for your time and as I was walking out, he said "thank you for being belligerent". read more

Omg this is the smoothest creamiest fresh made ice cream I've ever had - I'm hooked on several of their recipes one is their "coffee lovers " ice cream which has coffee ice cream, chunks of roasted almonds, caramel, and heath bar ! They do have gluten free, lactose free, and sugar free. treats are ways that you can celebrate working hard and life! The Mansfield store also has Rocky Mountain chocolate factory in the same store - so there's something for everyone and every occasion! (They even sell several varieties of candy apples!) plus chocolate candy. The staff is friendly and work hard so you need to be patient since your ice cream is mixed in front of you (fun to watch)! I placed an order at 12:43 pm online today. I placed the order early enough for ColdStone to prepare it and have it waiting for me to pick up at 3:00. I really wanted it prepared ahead of time because it's a 35 minute drive each way. If I waited until I got there the ice cream is soft. At least this way there's some time for it to start freezing. I sent my husband to get it and he texted me to say they hadn't even pulled the order up on the computer so he'll be coming back with basically soft serve. What a disappointment! I never leave reviews because I can usually look past mistakes. For example, during my recent visit I asked for the ice cream in a cup with a cone, but they forgot the cone part. This was understandable since it was just two staff members and it was really busy.
