We came in today and placed two orders. Anastasia was our server. She seemed distracted the entire time we were there. After completing our order, she waved me down to the register by the entrance. After I paid, I asked for my 2 ice creams to be put in a bag. She just handed me a bag, but my ice cream was at the opposite end of the counter. She expected me to walk back down and bag my own ice cream. I asked her to give me my ice cream please. She rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders and walked away to get my ice cream. No tip from me! If it's too much trouble to take good care of the customer, I can go to Stella's next time. Cold Stone is only averaging 2.4 stars. Horrible business and service. I've ordered from their website multiple times, and many times, they forget an item or forget to add toppings. I've let it slide multiple times (and this is after spending at least $60+ each time). This last time, I accidently forgot to change it to delivery instead of Pick Up, and when I called to see if I can either switch it to delivery or cancel my order, the employee was horribly rude. The person who I spoke to on the phone was mean from the beginning of the call. They said they couldn't help me. To go to the app and canceled it. I said it wasn't the app, it was on the website. I asked if they could find someone who could help me. He said no. I asked what I should do then. he raised his voice to me and spoke in a very condescending way, like a child, and told me to go to app and cancel it, which I told them again that it was through the website and that there was no cancel option. I again asked what I should do then to get my money returned. He answered again that he didn't know. This entire time, he was rude, and even laughed. I asked if he could get the manager. He ignored me and then asked 'Is that all?' I emailed the store and the company and never received a word from either. And never received my money back. Stay away from this store. read more

The chocolate devotion is my absolute favorite. The shop is a good size with lots of tables and seats. This location has really slow service and very awkward staff. For example, today I walked in and waited for someone to come to the counter. When she finally came, she stood in front of me at the counter but didn't look at or say anything to me. I waited a few seconds not sure of whether she was ready to take my order or not and finally said "Hi, can I get a chocolate devotion?" and she just started making it; no communication whatsoever until it came time to pay. I've had bad service here before. Product is great but service sucks. Only reason I don't visit this shop very often is because of their service. read more

I took my little son there for a Halloween treat that was advertised on the window. Of course he enjoyed the treat but the cleanliness of the shop was another story. When entering the shop I first noticed the smell, it was horrible! An Ice cream shop should NOT smell so bad. If my baby wasn't so excited to be there I would have just left! Then a minute later the only employee there came out from the customer bathroom that was in the lobby (WHY DON'T THEY HAVE THEIR OWN BATHROOM IN THE BACK?!) I don't want to see the person making my ice cream come out of the bathroom, GROSS. I can't say if that was the smell or not but I'm sure it didn't help. Complete turn off. The store was filthy, and I mean crumbs everywhere all over the counters on the sides and in between all the jars who knows how long they've been there. The floors needed moped I mean it looked like this place hadn't been cleaned in months! Absolutely FILTHY all over! Customer table area as well as behold the counter. The entire shop was just in terrible shape. Sorry to disrespect the employee but the guy was so mangy, completely unkept shoulder length messy hair and an unshaved beard, just dirty. I am so disappointed in this visit! Who owns this place?! There should be clean smiling faces behind a clean counter with everything neatly displayed nice and CLEAN. Why would you buy an ice cream shop and not have it in top notch shape?!!! Someone doesn't care about their shop and it's too bad. No wonder no one was in there. NO ONE WANTS TO BE! This cold stone in nampa had their air conditioning go out(we did not know this obviously when ordering because we ordered through Uber eats). When we called them to complain because our ice cream was more like hot chocolate to where we could not even eat it, they said they would not give us a refund and couldn't help us. The young girl on the phone told us that the air conditioning was out and all of the ice cream was melted and most of the toppings were ruined. WHY IN THE WORLD WERE THEY STILL OPEN!? We spent 30 dollars on Uber eats for horrible ice cream and then they refused to help us. I called the cold stone in meridian and spoke to an amazing employee who told us to come in and get our order for free next time we were in meridian. Came in for a sweet treat. We loved the ice cream do not get me wrong. However the three employees that were there were messing around. The guy employee was performing tricks with customers ice creams. The girls were messing around and hitting each other. It took 5x longer than any Cold Stone ever has. One other thing was they had a fly trap hanging near the add in stations as seen in the picture. Would not recommend going to this Cold Stone. read more

I was just in the Nampa Idaho Cold Stone and there where two employees working behind the counter, not one of them acknowledges that we were even there. The lady who was helping the person in front of us, finished with her, took off her gloves and walked into the back, again with no effort to let us know she would be right back. About 45 sec to a minute later she came back out with not gloves on, preceded to start replacing spatulas and generally working on the back counter with her back to us and again zero communication as to when she might start helping us with our order. We LEFT with our money and went to Sonic. I love Cold Stone and with the recent closure do to Covid-19 I would figure that every business would be clambering to get customers back. I had a gift card for this establishment otherwise, I normally don't go there. I got the frozen yogurt concoction called Chocolate Devotion. The serving was quite generous and delicious. Our server was friendly. The place needs a good cleaning though! Lots of dust and fingerprints on everything, especially on the eye level plexiglass. Hope they regularly change the water containers where they store the ice cream scoops.The whole place needs a remodel, it is dark and dreary in there. Will not be back there any time soon. read more

Wow, just left there. Four employees working, and all of them looked like it was awful to be there. There was quite a line, so in the five+ minutes I was there, they never smiled, talked to each other, greeted the customer (instead of was, "What would you like?" with zero enthusiasm), or thanked the customer at the end of the transaction /upon giving them their order.
