Girls night at The Cheesecake Factory was fun, our server was sweet and made good recommendations. We got stuffed mushrooms, the beet avocado salad(always a fav), chicken lettuce wraps, lemon shrimp pasta(off of the skinnylisous menu) I liked this one so much I recreated it at home! We also got a burger, which was just ok. We finished with the peach cheesecake with raspberry sauce, so good, and the s'mores cheesecake another favorite!

We went to The Cheesecake Factory during the holiday shopping rush, and even though it was very busy, we had a reservation and were seated right on time. The music was a little loud, but the service was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken picatta with angel hair and it was delicious. The chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was creamy with a nice lemon flavor. They only brought out the white bread, which was a bit chewy. I wish they had also brought the brown bread since they usually offer both, but it was a very busy night so we didn't ask. My husband got the Cajun jambalaya pasta and said it was very good. My dad ordered the fish and chips and thought it was great too. The portions are large and the prices are fair for what you get. I would definitely recommend eating here, but having a reservation makes the experience much smoother so you don't have to wait.

We always enjoy a good visit to TCF. This time, we decided to try something outside of what we usually order. To our surprise, their Thai curry dish is pretty bomb. We had their sliders for appetizer which were pretty great too. The pasta we had was mid but their service has always been excellent!

We have come here a couple of times because my daughters LOVE the cheesecake. Dinner is good, but nothing special. The menu is overwhelming long. The cheesecake though, it's delicious! We have yet to find a flavor we don't like. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic date night as it is noisy and always busy, but it is a good restaurant to bring the whole family to.

Me and my husband went out date dinner. He got chicken katsu and I got garlic lemon shrimp with pasta. We love wheat bread. We also got fried pickle. We both order same drink Mojitos. The waitress is very nice and she know American Sign Language. Pretty nice. We used up all 2 gift cards and paid off.

A happy surprise was my husband's and my visit here for sparkling clean and not too noisy space (even though cavernously large and sort of Las Vegas meets Morocco design details with painted ceilings and hanging iron lights), friendly hostess and server, pretty darned good food for a chain eatery (even with almost overwhelmingly large menu) and at a decent price point. WE'D GO BACK: We are so NOT chain people (there are 214 of these in the US across 43 states) and our only other visit to a Cheesecake Factory was more than 20 years ago (when visiting friends in Scottsdale) so during our 11 years of living in Boise we had never been tempted to try the location here at the shopping mall (take about another thing I avoid). But circumstances led us to give it a try when we had to be at the mall and were really, really hungry at the very tail end of a weekday lunch hour and we threw culinary caution to the wind. A good enough experience that we would go again in the same circumstances, even if it will never be a destination dining spot for us. MENU: One of the nice surprises on the menu is there were plenty of options for those of us who largely avoid animal proteins at places that source them from mass market purveyors. Yes, we are like the "Tell us about your chicken" people in the Portlandia comedy bit who want to know how the animals were raised. (If you don't know that funny bit, I'll link it at the end.) There were lots of options for us to choose from as well as lots and lots for omnivores. (We highly recommend their corn ribs made elote style!) Because this is a chain restaurant of over XX locations they are required to reveal calorie counts for every item on the (HUGE) menu and if you think knowing the key lime cheesecake we shared clocked in at almost 1200 calories held us back, it did not. We chuckled that they had a "Skinnilicious" menu listing in one place all of their lower calorie options. This could be a good place for a dieter, actually. $: Price points are moderate and as example; 2 people shared 3 appetizers (with some to take home) and 1 piece of cheesecake plus 2 coffees for just under $50 btt. SERVICE: Not all things service were perfect but still good. As example, although the restaurant was probably only 30% full, although more tables were on the patio too, it took a good amount of time from placing our order until it was delivered. Busy kitchen it seems since everything was delivered hot and that means it was not waiting in the kitchen for the server to pick it up, but if it took that long with little crowd, we wondered what it would be when full. (Since they deliver bread and butter, a nice sliced piece in a cold dish not the foil wrapped nonsense, to the table with the menus, we had something to graze on while waiting.) Plus, our very friendly server left the dirty dishes from 2 of the 3 plates we ordered on the table when he delivered the cheesecake and coffee. I moved them aside, but I used to work in this industry FOH a thousand years ago and that is something we would not have tolerated our servers doing. I don't know if this was his error or standard practice. PS: Ignore Yelpers who complain about waiting to be seated when they could see open tables. We waited for 10'ish minutes ourselves when there were lots of open tables visible but that is because restaurants do not seat more people than than they have servers on duty to serve and so it may be some tables are vacant for that reason. If you worked in the industry, you know this. If you didn't, now you know this. ACCESSIBILITY: Another nice surprise here is that it is one of the very few eateries in Boise that follow the rules of the Civil Rights Law of ADA for equal access to seating for people with disabilities by providing 36" clear space behind tables when people are seated at them. This month happens to be the 35th Anniversary of the law (signed into law 7/26/90) and that so many Boise restaurants ignore that requirement (meaning people like me can't get to and from a table or the loo) has moved beyond outrageous to infuriating now that I often need to use a wheelchair to get from point A to a table due multiple sclerosis that I've had since college years. NOISE LEVEL: Another nice surprise was to find that while the music was loud enough to know it was there, it was not so loud as to compete with conversation or to need to shout over it. Hooray! As I was signing the credit card receipt they started to play a nice cover version of "Let It Be" and I had to blink back tears given the state I find myself in these days over the state our country finds itself in and the chaos in the world all around us. When my hubby returned from the loo to find tears welling he knew without asking that the music had triggered them and why. PARKING: The Boise Mall lot. OUTSIDE SEATING: On large, covered patio. Literally one of the worst restaurants in Boise. Overpriced, undersized, and bland. I've never not regretted dining here.

When we…read morearrived, it was absolutely pouring, and being from the Pacific Northwest, we didn't think twice about waiting in line .As soon as the rain let up, though, the line grew dramatically, so we were glad we had stuck it out. The bakery itself is small, but the display case is anything but. It's packed with beautifully crafted pastries, each one more tempting than the last. Honestly, everything looked worth trying. We settled on the Rose Croissant and the Lox Croissant Sandwich, and both were excellent. The rose croissant was a standout with the rose flavor delicate yet present in every bite, which is rare for floral pastries. It never became overpowering or faded into the background or tasted artificial. The true star of the meal, however, was the lox croissant sandwich. It was absolutely stellar and one of the best savory pastries we've had in a long time. The coffee was just okay, but that was fine because the pastries completely stole the show. The staff worked quickly despite the steady stream of customers. There is a bit of seating both indoors and outdoors, although most people seemed to be taking their orders to go ,perhaps because of the weather. If you're visiting, come for the pastries. They're absolutely worth the wait.

If you're like us and like specialty coffee flavors like salted caramel, lavender, honey, etc., this probably isn't the spot for your coffee fix. That said... the pastries are absolutely worth the visit! Everything we tried was beautifully made and delicious. Just a heads up: it gets very crowded and busy, so I'd recommend arriving early or going in with a little patience. It's not typically a quick grab-and-go stop, but the pastry treats make it worth slowing down for!

Luckily I was there that day and was able to snag a chocolate bar. I remember it being so good! I thought today was a good day for a sweet treat so I made my way in! My husband's request was an apple fritter if they had any. I came in later in the afternoon and surprisingly there were still quite a few donuts available. I was happy that there was quite a selection still. They all looked so good! Even the classic glazed looked tasty. After looking over the goodies, I decided on a half dozen of mixed donuts. The sweet lady behind the counter was so patient with me as I was looking and second guessing my choices. With the mixed variety you get 3 classic, 2 specialty and 1 extra fancy donut. I snagged a round glazed, a chocolate and maple bar, 2 apple fritters and a fancy donut with cream and strawberries on top. I was planning on giving 3 of the goodies to my in laws. I asked the sweet lady for an extra box and with no hesitation she grabbed it got me. I was able to get my goodies sorted. I dropped off the maple bar, an apple fritter and the cream and strawberry donut to my in laws. My father in law loves apple fritters and didn't hesitate to grab it from the box and claim it right away. 0 He enjoyed half of it and is saving the other half for later. Nothing but great things were said about his treat. I forgot to mention earlier that the sweet lady gave me two donut holes in my box. I snacked on those and mannnnn were they good! They were so soft and sweet. I just wanted a little something so it was perfect! My husband devoured his apple fritter. I didn't even get a bite! I'm happy he enjoyed it! I was recently at Krispy Kreme and honestly the donut I got tasted stale. Like it had been sitting out for more than a day. I only had 2 small donut holes and they blew Krispy Kreme out of the water, it was night and day. I'm happy I got to stop in today and grab some goodies. The donuts were amazing! The service was great! And I got to support a local business in my area! I look forward to coming back and grabbing more treats for my family/friends sometime soon.

On the morning we stopped in there weren't a lot of choices and judging by the size of the cases on the counter that's typical. We tried buttermilk, cream puff, strawberry frosted heart shaped donuts and a glazed croissant. My daughter rated the cream puff donut a solid 5 star! I give major props to that little glazed croissant- it was delicious but I also appreciate that it wasn't huge. I felt satisfied but not sickly full afterward. I tried the buttermilk later in the day and it wasn't okay, the frosted donut for a similar review from my daughter- like, solid food donuts but nothing we couldn't find at the local grocery store bakery. Worth the stop if you're in the immediate area, not a destination spot though.

I have driven by this shop a million times but never got the chance to make it in. After checking out all their photos and goodies off their website, making my way in today was a must. The shop is very small and intimate. You are immediately greeted by all the goodies as soon as you walk in. Colorful macarons, the cutest cheesecakes and beautifully displayed scones and muffins. The display case is nice and bright, allowing you to be able to see the details and coloring of each macaron. The pretty piping on the cheesecake. The fun layers of the cakes. It was hard not to want one of each thing out of the case. It was our first visit for my daughter and I. As a new customer, you're trying to absorb everything about this store. You want to look at all your options! The gal that initially was going to help us pretty much just stood there and stared at us. Didn't really talk to us. Didn't ask if we had any questions. She had the most unpleasant look on her face. It honestly made me feel so unwanted and uncomfortable to be at the shop. I offered to let another customer go ahead of us so she wasn't just standing there waiting for us to order something. The second customer also needed some time. Finally a gentleman came in and she got him some coffee started. Another gal was working and she helped us. At that point, I was so turned off about getting anything but we were already there so we decided to grab a few things. My daughter and I decided to share a 6 pack of macarons. We snagged lemon, birthday cake, coffee, chocolate, creme brulee and cookies and cream as our flavor choices. She also got a red velvet cheesecake for us to share after dinner tonight. On our ride home, we broke that box of macarons open and had to try them all. The lemon was sweet and tangy, I love the lemon custard in the middle. Birthday cake reminds me of a pink frosted animal cookie. The chocolate was my favorite! Very chocolate forward and sweet. Coffee reminded me of a vanilla latte in cookie form. Cookies and cream was much like cookies and cream ice cream. More cream forward and less chocolate cookie. Creme brulee had sugar toasted on top which created a slight bitterness to the cookie but it was balanced with how sweet the cookie was. All 6 macarons were fabulous! I look forward to having the red velvet cheesecake after dinner tonight. I like that there are so many gluten free options at this bakery. I adore how petite and prettily decorated the pastries were. I appreciate that this joint is local as I love supporting local businesses. But, first impressions are so huge for me and my first impression of their customer service wasn't there for me. You can push out great products all you want but how you make someone feel during their purchase can make or break your business. As fantastic as my macarons were, all I can think about was how uncomfortable I was when I was just being stared at. Macarons and cheesecake can be purchased at a few joints in our valley. I'm happy I got to enjoy some goodies with my daughter but I'm going to go support another local business that will actually make me feel like a valued customer and not a bother.

The other person there was great though! I was drawn in by the array of unique flavors and vegan options. I had really wanted to get something boozy and vegan, but they only had one flavor on at the moment that fit the bill and I wasn't particularly interested, so I sampled a few of the dairy boozy flavors and went with a vegan non-boozy ice cream for my actual order because a full scoop of dairy ice cream does not sit right in my stomach. I liked the boozy flavors more but that was only because of the flavors offered - the vegan ice cream itself was great, very smooth and creamy, not overly sugary. I got the float season vegan ice cream: blackberry ice cream with salted dark chocolate. I did still enjoy this flavor a lot. I really liked the crunchy bittersweet dark chocolate bits. I didn't get anything to drink but I was kind of tempted. The ice cream + beer or wine flights looked interesting. I don't know wine well enough to comment, but it looked like they had a good selection of beer with quality brewers and a good variety of beer types. This is technically a Warehouse Food Hall vendor but it's only accessible from the street outside the food hall.
