They have so many mix in's and many ice cream choices as well. My family member ordered a shake made with cake batter ice cream and he got a mix in. I had a taste and it was amazing! Thick, but not so much you couldn't use a straw, so flavorful and delicious! I was viewing the ice cream cakes and I think that I will purchase one for the next birthday. We almost walked away, but I had it bad so we stayed. Surprisingly the line went really quick. There were plenty of employees and they appeared to be well organized. Im so surprised at all the negative reviews, I guess I've just always been lucky whenever I've been. Once I came about 10 minutes before a dinner reservation at BlackRock for my husband's birthday. We went in to get him a tub of icecream, which has become a birthday tradition for us. Unfortunately we couldn't take our icecream with us but we asked if they would hold it there for us and they did without hesitation. When we came back it was ready for us with no confusion. 0 stars for racism. I visited this location on Friday, 9/20 sometime between 10 PM and 10:30 PM. I was out celebrating my sister's bachelorette party and she wanted to stop for ice cream at Cold Stone. When we walked in we decided on the ice cream we were getting and the white server asked us to pay first and then he'll make our ice cream. I looked around and the 3 white couples/groups in front of us didn't pay first, they watched the server make their ice cream and they paid last. I literally watched someone paying for their ice cream while holding it. I asked the server if there was a reason we have to pay first, his response didn't explain it so I left. I noticed my two sisters stayed behind so I walked back in and said, " let's go because they are racist. In that moment I was appalled because I've never had to pay first. I've always paid last and seeing the other people inside who were white pay last, made me feel embarrassed and ashamed. It was almost like they felt we were going to steal the ice cream. This is one of my lowest reviews on Yelp. Here's why. There are a lot of newbs working here that probably never helped set the dinner table, let alone prepare any food at home. They're sloppy and don't wipe up after themselves. Nearly every time I get a newb, they don't bother filling the quart-sized container. There's always air in between the scoops as they fill it up. They don't listen to the person training them very well. I've seen the manager have to remove the lid and press down on the ice cream, then pack the top with more. They're shorting people about 10-20% of the contents an this stuff is EXPENSIVE! Drips down the size aren't wiped off containers and the lid is gooey on the under side of the rim. I always have to wipe down the outside when I get these home or my freezer will end up with ice cream all over. It's really too bad that they can't find good help. Seems to always be the newbs that don't have enough muscle to mix the goodies into the ice cream or pack the quarts. read more

They had no icecream and heckled and joked with the worker friends the whole time. A family with little kids sat on the ledge off to the side because the morbidly obese heckler and crew were taking up all the seats. My pregnant wife had no where to sit, so we walked out to my car to eat the icecream and talked about how we will never go back there again. A decent ice cream chain that uses brand name candy for their flavor mix-ins. I find that my own creations are much more satisfying than the pre-made ones, but a newbie would probably want to try those first before venturing off on their own. This location is not stingy on the mix-ins. I know they probably have a set number of items/scoops based on your order size, but if you ask for a little more, they don't charge you extra. Of course if it's a full serving extra, you will get charged. It's right next to Emagine Theaters, so it makes for a fun treat while you're waiting for your show or if you're hanging out at one of the local bars. read more

The girl scooped up my ice cream, mixed in the toppings and piled it into the paper cup. Then she proceeded to use the metal spatula to wipe off a big portion of my ice cream and she threw it in the garbage. Why? Why would you throw away my ice cream? My teenage son went into this Cold Stone Store and when he started asking the person behind the counter about the different ice cream flavors the man got very upset and questioned if he was going to order or continue to waste his time. My son then explained to him that he had a severe peanut allergy. Everything he had showed him had nuts in it, therefore he would be unable to eat it. The employee working behind the counter then screamed at my son, "Then get the F... out of my store!" My son who is on the autism spectrum (Aspergers) said, he didn't want to esculate him more. He simply said, "Okay, Sir," and walked out. When he called me he was stuttering. It took him several attempts before he could clearly get out what had just happened to him. When he was able to calm down and breathe, he said, "Something terrible has just happened." I think people should know that it doesn't matter that he is on the autism spectrum. No one has the right to speak to another human being in this manner. No one deserves to feel humiliated and disrespected. He has already expressed that he will never go back there again. My son has been working very hard on becoming more independent and trying new things like going to the movies, and getting ice cream (just like any other teenager). For people who are like my son, who rarely have these opportunities, you can only imagine how happy he was until he was screamed at by an adult for simply trying to take ownership of his medical condition. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to have to hear my son's voice, over the phone, helpless and scared.
