Melissa called me 20 mins prior to a scheduled pickup asking for more time as the fondant wasn't holding up. I requested a full refund given the appearance of the cake. I had to hide the multiple areas of missing fondant with moons .. It was a big disaster, absolutely disappointing and upsetting. She had the audacity to respond back in capital letters and refused to provide a full refund -despite claiming that she holds customer service at an excellent level. She contacted me by phone several times too prior to the event to let me know all was well and not to worry!!! She sent a picture to my cell phone at the venue and I almost fainted!!! It was AMAZING! Delivery was done by her husband and was on time at the downtown venue (what a great guy, too). We showcased the dessert table in the restaurant on a hightop in the only curved bay window area and placed the appetizers in front of it on lower tables. This cake was so gorgeous that may guests had no idea it was THE CAKE! The cake tasted just as good as it looked, too...Chocolate ganache...PERFECT FOR A GROOM'S CAKE!
