Ice cream is always good but I Got the gen z stare, she couldn't follow my simple order and got the size wrong In The end after being told twice. the place is ran by kids who don't know what the difference between a pint and a quart is , I'll just order online next time and hope it goes better cause the personal interaction was just embarrassing and mediocre they are nice enough I guess, they are just all scared and unsure and you can sense it big time. Whoever the crew that was on service 5/26/2024 at 6pm really needs better training or some sort of protocol. Not only are the staff pretty rude to the customers and don't acknowledge what you're saying.. We witnessed one of them come into their shift without washing their hands or putting on gloves and went straight into making someone's order. There's no order of operation, so instead of one person taking the order of one party so that another staff member can help the next person in line, the entire staff caters to one person at a time. I forgot to check in while we were at Cold Stone tonight, but I did want to give fair warning We used to frequent this ice cream shop but stopped since they weren't very friendly, refused to take coupons, and the ice cream was often soft. But tonight my mom was craving ice cream after a fun day at Seaworld First thing I noticed was the mold on the metal in the ice cream freezers. Since it looked like it was on the freezer itself and not on the containers that geld the ice cream I took a quick picture and moved on to ordering ice cream. The server was perfunctory, not friendly. The ice cream ended up being very soft. I am honestly not the person that would write a review; however, this experience deserves to be mentioned. I was at the location earlier today (I am a regular customer) and experienced the worse customer service I have experienced since visiting this location. The young lady whom assisted me didn't wait long enough to get my entire order. I wanted it prepared to go before I could tell her she walked away nor did she ask while making it. At the end of the transaction I asked for lids to cover my ice cream and the lids were placed face down on the counter and slid across to me. Not being picky but I want to be safe people are getting sick out here. Hopefully things will get better the product is great but it's the experience as well that makes it worth coming into the store. First Date at Coldstone. Went to Coldstone on a Friday night. There was a pretty big line but the 4 lovely ladies working the counter expeditiously took orders and made there way through the line. I thoroughly enjoyed the owners favorite which was vanilla ice cream, Brownies, and pecans. They have a wide variety of flavors and selection. The flavors are wonderful. Prices are a little high so it's a once in awhile treat, but this location is great. Parking can be challenging as it is in a strip with many local bars, restaurants, and eateries. Ordered a Strawberry Blonde Gotta Have It size. The girl making the ice cream said they wouldn't have enough of the strawberry ice cream for the size I wanted. I said it was okay but I would like cheesecake ice cream to make up for not having enough strawberry ice cream. The girl said it was fine but when I was handed my ice cream cup, it wasn't even filled to the top of the cup while my boyfriend's ice cream was doubled the size of mines and was pretty much about to topple over. I was highly upset because I didn't get the size of ice cream I paid for. I felt like I couldn't even say anything about it because once I paid they pretty much rushed me out so they can take the next person. My experience at this Cold Stone location was mediocre. But that craving isn't strong enough to bring me back to this Cold Stone Limited in the food court at Orlando International Airport. Limited flavors (read: five choices & three empty slots on a Monday afternoon), no toppings, and one dour employee - the only thing this stand has in common with Cold Stone is the name. Even asking for spoons proved taxing, as the employee first gestured lazily at the spoon container, then, finding it empty, wordlessly slammed a handful of spoons into the holder before turning her back & going to help the next customer. The ice cream was good, but did it even matter after that experience? Next time, when I'm craving something cold & refreshing at the airport, I'll just get a frappuccino across the way. read more

Okay, it is coldstone's and people love it. I do too when I get the craving for ice cream. However, this one I will probably avoid and just go to publix and pick it up there. It was so slow! There was one person behind the counter working on a Friday evening, another showed up from behind the back after I had waited for about 5 minutes. We kept waiting cause my friend and I were in the mood - they weren't apologetic for the wait, the girl that came out from behind the counter did not ever offer to help as the kid who was behind the counter seemed to be struggling. This never used to be this way I have been here twice in the last month. The first time service was poor. The young staff working were inappropriate in the presence of customers. Yesterday I went again. There was no waffle cones. Ice cream was melting, no vanilla and again different young staff who just basically did not have customer service skills whatsoever. I just wanted to write a review to rave about their great customer service. I drove over there with my kids in the pouring rain 2 weeks ago from Kissimmee and it was closed on a Sat evening. There was a sign on the door that stated they were closed because they didn't get a delivery. I was so bummed that I came home and wrote them a letter about how disappointed the kids were. They promptly sent a response explaining the situation that was not really their fault and apologized. They also gave me a coupon for free ice cream. Tastes perfectly great and everything, service is good, clean, etc. Just FYI they don't have the full menu of flavors and mix-ins, it's just about 10-12 pre-mixed flavor/topping combinations. The ice cream was the only good thing about this place. One of the younger female staff members was more concerned about making waffle cones than attending to the customers. There was only 1 party in front of us and we waited 15 minutes to get served. The employee took our order with her back turned to us because her main focus was the waffle cones. She had 3 full bins of waffle cones and I don't see the need to make more waffle cones when guests need to be attended to. Although they ran out of the cake batter flavor (perhaps a local favorite) I am a simple flavor type of person and had the sweet cream with butterfinger. This is a place that has a lot of franchise locations, the service at the location (Hunters Creek) that we went to was good. The lady who made my sons ice cream was very friendly and went out of her way to hold on a conversation with us long after we had already paid. The man who made my ice cream seemed to be annoyed (not at me just in general). I've had the ice cream before and have always thought it had good consistency but last nights ice cream didn't seem cold enough or the Slab wasn't cold enough because our ice cream was melting like it was a sauna inside the location. That sucked. The actual flavors of ice cream was a good variety, they had the usuals, Oreo creme, cotton candy, coffee, cheesecake, truffle and something like toffee. The peanut butter perfection tasted amazing! My son ordered the chocolate truffle ice cream with kit kats and Reese peanut butter cup. It was good, I didn't like the truffle ice cream. If I could give a big fat ZERO I would. Went to order a milkshake for my family and was told that they can only make vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry. But wait there's a picture of a Mint chocolate chip milkshake on the board. Then asked for a chocolate shake THEN to be told by this "worker" that the other worker just set the machine that makes the milkshake and it will take awhile and can't make the milkshake. There is very rarely much of a crowd so you won't wait long.
