But if you are, I am sad to say that Stone Cold Steve Austin and this place have nothing in common. That said, you can wrestle the inner guilt as you treat yourself to some delicious ice cream. Erin, Matt and I wandered in at the tail end of our travels. We needed something sweet to wrap up a day of traveling. As we walked in, our eyes lit up at the amount of delicious ice creams they had. We approached the counter and ended up sampling a few things before we settled on what sounded good. Our scoops of ice cream were served in little bowls with little plastic spoons. Skipping the cone let us sit down and eat the ice cream at a casual pace instead of fighting the melt. As we sat there, we all remarked at the same time on how good the ice cream was. The flavors ordered are long forgotten but the memory of the visit and the smiles on our faces are forever etched in my mind. The ice cream was really good, I will say that. Not homemade good but close. It was especially delicious after a long day of traveling and exploring. If you haven't explored and/or traveled much, it will unexpectedly wear you out. What could improve? Let's start with the fact that we walked into the store all happy, after watching a movie. While we were laughing and having a good time, and NOT disturbing anyone, these so called "employees" gave us so much attitude and sass. That is the worse thing a customer can experience. They asked us what we wanted with so much attitude and then as we walked away, they called my boyfriend and his other friend gay. What kind of customer SERVICE is that? We were so respectful to them. So if you want more customers to come over, don't hire those types of people. That's what causes corporation to go in the dust. We will NOT be coming again. ps. we all got called bitches read more

Very dirty place! The coolers are gross. Dozens of chocolate dipped cones just sitting out. Gross. Also no place to put your sample spoon so each time you have to walk all the way over to a garbage. Silly. read more

Disgustingly dirty!!!! Just nasty! Went with a group and I decided to not order it was too gross! Where to start? Floors in the restraint were slopped with old dried ice cream and toppings. Outside and inside of glass cases were nasty. Food containers holding toppings were super filthy! No one wearing gloves! Bathroom toilet palate holder is broken to hell, roll was on the floor when I went in. NO SOAP!!! No soap in the holder but plenty caked on the walls and running all over! Dried up and old. Sinks, paper towel holder and door knobs were so super nasty!! No soap made me think they are not washing hands aster using the restroom makes me want to barf! On and I took los of pictures! Next I will be contacting the health department! Dinning room was nasty too! Tables not cleaned even the WALLPAPER had stuff slipped on it and not cleaned off! Put a little money into your place when Arturo gets old and worn!! Place is prob crawling with roaches at night they do not clean at all you can tell! This place needs shut down and deep cleaned! This was my very first and last time visiting this place. The service was horrible. I ordered a Strawberry Blonde which is supposed to have graham cracker crusts, caramel, whipped cream and strawberries. The guy making the order literally blended the toppings all together like he was mixing a bowl of cake batter to the point where the ice cream and toppings were completely smooth. It looked like plain, soft strawberry icecream. I asked them to please top it with the whip cream and toppings and they replied "it's there, it's inside the ice cream" I said well I hoped it would at least resemble the picture as this looks like a smoothie. It didn't even look like a blizzard". Then the manager came out and told the guy that made it to add just a little whip cream to the top then said to me "they make the picture all fancy but it's really all mixed up". I told him this was my first time and i expected something close to the picture but he shrugged his shoulders as if to say "oh well" Needless to say, I will Never come back for this over priced iced cream. I don't know how this location has not been shut down by the health department. I was there for the first time about a month ago. the place was filthy. there was no soap in either bathroom. I informed an employee who did not seem to care. I wan waited a minute and again asked the employee how I was to wash my hands. She took me back in the kitchen which was disgusting and they could stop not find soap. they eventually found dish soap for me to use. Ew. My daughter went back today AND THERE WAS STILL NO SOAP ANYWHERE!!!! Will not be going back and will be filling a complaint with the health department. read more

Oh how I do love the cake batter ice cream. I have determined that for each person in line ahead of you, you will have to wait five minutes to place your order. I arrived at cold stone creamery with friends and the open sign was lit up and it appeared to be open for business. We arrived at cold stone at 9:56 pm and it said online they closed at 11 pm. Once we walked in, they said that they were closed but clearly the lights were on and they just didn't want to serve us ice cream. They could of provided us service since we were already in the store.I was extremely disappointed in this ice cream store and I do not recommend since they provided us zero service during operating hours. When we went back the next day, I received a burnt waffle cone. It appeared as if they were closing down before the actual closing time. Little did they know when I was outside the store, I look back to find the manager ripping a vape. The employees took the trash out and did not wash their hands. New customers walked in and they proceeded to scoop them ice cream. They look like they are working a public restroom, when in reality it's an ice cream shop which is actually somewhat fun. My family and I dubbed it the "Charlie Brown birthday cake" because of how small, sad looking, and well, just plain ugly it was...But I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because honestly, it was so freakin good! When I got there to pick up my online order of my sons 18th birthday cake, they finally located which cooler it was in and it had nothing written on it (it was completely plain on top!), even though I kept showing the confirmation email that had my custom message on it to the 2 people waiting on me...they just stared at me like there was nothing they could do. I basically had to beg them to write what I needed to be on it. And it looked so very bad. I just don't feel like the tiny ugly cake was worth 30 dollars and that I didn't get my money's worth. It is nice to enjoy some mixed concoction from Coldstone. Years ago, when they first opened in Peoria, maybe for their first week, they used to sing jingles if requested upon. I have not heard a peep from them since lol. Service for the most part is fast but the ice cream themselves melt so easily once they reach the customer. The ice cream and the amount given is good for its price. Three choices: like it, love it, and gotta have it. They have a regular menu with their creative recipe mix-ins, seasonal choices, or you can create your own. They also have smoothies, cakes, and cupcakes. Worth a try on a hot summer day. read more

The service here was awful. The gentleman making our Ice cream spent the entire time on the phone through his headset speaking another language. Will NOT be going here again. Two of the workers were arguing with each other as they rang me up, one of them was sitting on the counter--talk about unhygienic! They also didn't get my order right--they gave me chocolate ice cream in the signature creation I ordered when it called for cookie dough. Which I was fine with because it still tasted good, but how do you mix up chocolate ice cream with cookie dough? My partner ordered a smoothie and they said they just don't make smoothies anymore. Is this true of all Cold Stones, or were these staff just feeling lazy? Because they still had smoothies on the menu. This was after the previous time we came here, about a year ago, when they said they were out of medium cups and so tried to upcharge me to a large without telling me, even though I didn't have any extra liquid in the large cup--it was still a medium. I came here tonight (March 9th) about 8pm, I hope someone lets the girl know she was doing an amazing job. Unfortunately she was the only one working. There was a man in the back working on something else, but there was a line to the door and everyone could have been in and out a lot quicker if he had helped the young lady at the counter. I love Cold Stone Creamery. Just not this one. In my experiences here, and there are several, this location is poorly managed. Everything to credit card machine was broken (for a week), cold stone was broken, to most recently, and perhaps the worst offense for me . . . No milk! I LOVE a milk shake there made from cake batter ice cream and hot fudge. It's the best. But no milk! Not once, but twice in the last 6 months I went there and they were out of milk. What ice cream store runs out of milk?!! And if you're the manager, and you're out of milk, go to the grocery store that day and get some more!!! I'm done going to this location. I'll go across the street to DQ or Culvers even though I'll miss my cake batter shake. read more

Yum! I get mint with sprinkles and they actually mix up the sprinkles so they're everywhere and not just on the top! They have a wide variation of ice creams and toppings and they even have cakes to buy. Very delicious ice cream. read more

Service at Cold Stone was very poor. I asked if I could sample the dark chocolate ice cream and the girl acted like it was a big deal and gave my son the same attitude when he asked. Mind you we picked the ice cream we sampled. She made mine and I asked for a lid and she threw a lid at me that landed on the glass shelf that was covered in dust, it was so rude. The man rang us up, didn't tell me the total or say thank you or give us a paper bag for our to go ice cream and when we asked for spoons it was like we put him out. It sounds and looks like it should be the best ice cream out there, but each time I go I'm just disappointed with the taste. I mean you get all these fun flavors and ingredients mixed right there infront of you, it should be heaven. But it's not. It's too heavy, too sweet, too something not right. The counter dudes are a little scary too. I feel like it's a military ordering line. The first time we were there I asked for two different flavors, the place was packed, and the guy behind the counter said "we can't do that" I was so confused and embarrassed and after trying to explain to him for a good 3 minutes how yes he technically can DO that, it is physically possible and I'll pay the extra, he was so confused, I was confused, the line was held up so I put my head down and told him I'll just stick with the one flavor. My husband and I still laugh about that a year later. Go to Las Delicias instead, it's worth the drive. read more

Went here a couple of times now and must say they have the worst customer service! The manager is RUDE and Arrogant! First time I went to pick up ice cream for my family and the person helping me have me an attitude because I was not quick enough with my order. Today, the nasty manager gave me attitude because I needed writing on my cake. When you are charging $27.95 for a small cake you should not be giving your customer an attitude for writing happy anniversary! I went to cold stone cremery 5-2-15 and it was about 20 minutes until close. I ordered a love it size not to big not to small so you would think not a lot of time. As soon as I walked in the manager who was on duty looked at me and said in a non friendly tone "oh my God". The kids "ACTUALLY" working were great but I guess I gave an unsettling feeling in the managers stomach by showing up in enough time to get a bowl of ice cream. I paid money for their business but I guess Mr manager was in a hurry to get to whatever he was trying to get to this evening. As I was paying for my ice cream I heard him say under his breath "Don't pay with a credit card". EXCUSE ME but I'm paying your paycheck! I'm giving you money for your product it's how it goes in every business. This manager needs to be re-educated on how to treat customers. I'm very sorry I ruined his pre clean ritual 20 minutes before closing while there was in fact customers in the building eating.
