Loaded queso breakfast burrito was missing queso and was folded and not wrapped burrito style. This trip was 1 star for sure

This was the most fun I have had dining at a restaurant in a while. First time eating here, needed…read morea place to fill up before a long drive back home. Sat at the bar, had the pleasure of getting to know the bartender and owner who were excellent company. Gave wine and food recommendations, recounted stories of covid days and shared they had celebrated their 30th anniversary. If that is not something to toast, I don't know what is.

Like only 20 tables or so. The couple next to us was on a date and I felt like I could follow their whole conversation from the moment we sat down. Our waiter came by to introduce himself, but didn't take our drink orders. When he came back, he jumped right in to our meal orders. All of our meals came with salads and he never asked us about dressing options, so I assumed all salads came with a house dressing. But my dad's girlfriend asked for blue cheese...I mistook her request for dressing and just put blue cheese crumbles on top of her plain salad...no dressing. We did ask him about drinks as he was leaving with the menus. While waiting, we overheard the table behind us ordering their salads and their waiter gave them a whole list of dressing options. Once we got our salads, we dug in but the vinaigrette was so strong, I couldn't eat it without grimacing. I ordered the chicken piccata. It was drowning in capers. That is all I could taste. It was so briny and salty that I could barely eat half of the portion they gave me. The chicken was also a little tough to cut through. I would be willing to try again. I never leave one experience to take over my whole perception.

First of all, we had beer cheese breadsticks. The breadsticks were soft with a terrific seasoning. The beer cheese was bonus. I love pizza but I love wings more! I just had to have jal-magno wings. I felt like the sauce favored the sweet fruitiness of the mango more than the spiciness of the Jalapeño. Either way, I loved every moment of it! The wings were grilled with some chargrill on them and really seasoned with salt and pepper. The ranch was made from buttermilk and made in-house. Here are the setbacks that kept it from being a 5 though I was very close to making it a 5. I don't drink cokes or beer so water it is. The water did not taste good. The service didn't bring us plates or napkins with the breadsticks. I really feel like this is nit-picking. I would go back and next time try a pizza.

Over time, we have noticed the food, servers and overall shape of the restaurant go downhill. The turnover in help is stunning. There never appears to be a "real" manager on site but rather a server who has been designated the manager for the night. Beau (the owners son in his 20's) is on a mission to open as many businesses as he (or his father) possibly can. From all indications, this practice seems to be hurting business rather than enhancing it. On a recent visit to the Peoria Heights location, the young man cooking pizza's was picking his nose!!! The place looked VERY dirty in many areas of the restaurant. Some time ago, smaller booths were replaced with GIANT ones that could seat nine guests. My husband and I have been seated there which does not lend itself to an enjoyable experience. Where the booths were changed around, the floor was not touched up leaving areas with no finish on the floor at all (tacky). The new location at Grand Prairie had two other people in the restaurant the night we checked it out. We assumed it would be busy given it was new to the area. Not so! I would say these businesses need the owners (both) to either hire competent restaurant managers and/or spend more time at their sizable investments. If not, they would not be the first business owners to close and then blame it on everything but themselves. Take ownership of your mismanagement. Saying you are opening numerous businesses does not success make...
