My partner and j enjoy walking here on nights where we're craving a quick sweet treat and we've never been disappointed before. The owners are nice and we recently went last week and it appears they had two newer girls working and they were working hard! We happened to go when they had a rush of people, seemed to be some sports event going on, so multiple groups of girls were taking that place by storm and those workers were handling it so well and were so under appreciated through out the whole thing. It was hot today and I went for some ice cream. I walked it and it was dark inside, the owner/manager asian man walked from the back. I had already seen signs everywhere that they didn't accept Apple Pay. I ordered a small cup of coconut ice cream. The guy tells me you have to pay. Entered on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy at all. This location is currently not offering any samples due to safety precautions, but I always order the same thing so that was fine. I got my "Like It" coffee ice cream with brownie all on a waffle cone. My friend got her "Like It" mint ice cream with oreo cookies. I've found the couple who is working (and I think owns) very pleasant and friendly. They had an amazing marshmallow flavor and I asked about a s'mores type combo creation and she stepped in and noted they had a campfire one specific for this flavor. It was delicious. They've also always been extremely patient as I'm typically an indecisive orderer. The woman who was working asked what I would like to order and I pointed to the picture of the Lucky Charm ice cream cone they had displayed on their ice cream freezer window. She started making my ice cream and I sat at a little table to watch. She was done and handed me a regular bowl of ice cream with what looked like vanilla ice cream with marshmallows in it. I advised that I wanted it in a cone like it shows in the picture. The guy who looked at me with the utensils comes back around to say - the cones are optional and you have to tell us you want it that way. I became frustrated because never having been to a Cold Stone Creamery I was not aware of the process and felt his attitude was condescending. I again asked if I can have it "exactly like the picture" please. She took my ice cream out of the bowl and scooped it into a regular waffle cone. I told them this doesn't look like the picture and the guy sarcastically says, "yeah maybe our next batch will be better". During one of the hot days last week, I decided that I needed a cool down, so I wandered in during my lunch hour and grabbed some ice cream. For starters, I do like this place-sort of. I think they have a great product, but I find that thier ice cream is just so rich, to the point where its almost to much to eat. Plus, I think that even though they are a more original idea, I feel like thier menu lacks in ideas and I have a hard time deciding what I should truely get. After going to sweet republic in scottsdale, I don't know that I will be returning to Coldstone. Thier ice cream is to heavy, to rich to taste, and well, overpriced in my opinion. read more

She scooped my first ice cream choice and served it, then i had to tell her I also wanted vanilla & she gave me an "ugh" face shaking her head and when I said vanilla, she asked me "french vanilla or creme brûlée?" With an attitude. Unfortunately I wasn't able to pay with my card because I didn't have my ID on me! So again, in a very rude way she didn't even speak to me, turned around & threw my ice creme away. There are some pretty tasty options, and the employees roll in toppings to the ice cream. I got the tart cherry frozen yogurt with oreo cookies and chocolate chips - yummy! I also tried a strawberry cheesecake something or other. There are multiple options for huge sundaes with cookies, waffles cones, and toppings. The prices are higher than most ice cream shops (but I grew up in Oklahoma / Kansas with Braums). The prices range from $3.99 and upwards. This particular location does not have free water or much seating at all. There are maybe four chairs and one table. read more
