I usually order my cakes online and they have them ready within 24 hour. The customer service seams to be lacking but since I order online I dont really have to deal with it to much. I have ordered Ice cream cakes from other cold stones in the area and for some reason the cakes dont taste as good as the ones I get from this Cold Stone. If they improved their customer service skills I would give a 5 star for sure. I will probably go back when I need an Ice Cream cake. Im just happy that I get to skip the line by ordering online. If you want to order a cake i would highly recommend you order it online 24 hrs in advance so save you a long line. read more

Ive never had cold stone before and it was pretty obvious too. I went in and look kinda confused about what exactly to do since they're different than normal ice cream places and when they asked me what i wanted i said medium and the ice cream flavor and went on to the candy area and i looked around and said one candy and then looked to see what else i wanted and before i could say anything else they already put it into the bowl and gave it to me. they never asked me if i wanted anything else or if that was it. I will not be returning to at least this cold stone. read more

The ice cream here is disgusting. It is extremely sweet, not very flavorful and has pieces of gummy texture (I'm guessing it's old ice cream kind of coagulating). It is ridiculously overpriced. I paid $14 for two "like it" sizes in a cone with two toppings mixed in the last time I came here.. The thought of ice cream with toppings mixed in sounds so good and that's why I fooled myself into visiting this place three times over the last four years, but it never fails to disappoint. If you like old, over-sugary, gummy, flavorless, old freezer-tasting-like ice-cream, by all means give it a try if you haven't. Otherwise, stay far away from this place. read more

I went in today and I experienced horrible service from an older 45-50 yr old, female employee with black hair. She was extremely rude when I ordered my ice cream. She rolled her eyes after I asked a question in regards to an additional order and didn't answer my question. Came in on Wednesday night and was really satisfied with ice cream! Always get cheesecake and graham cracker because it's the best! We got helped by a young lady named Calandra she was very kind and welcoming. There was a male employee as well and instead of welcoming us he flew and went inside and didn't say hello. My daughter had a gift card, and wanted to use it. She's 11, and decided to buy her, and her sister ice cream. They ordered a cone with one scoop of ice cream. My son had dropped his bottle so after I ordered for them and they were putting it together I went to wash the bottle. When I came out my daughter said "the chocolate cone is $1.68" or In that general price. I thought maybe a special was going on like they have on Tuesday. So, when she goes to use her gift card her total was pretty high. I was expecting way less since the lady had told my daughter a price. Well, the lady offered a more expensive cone to my daughter while I was washing my sons bottle. My daughter thought it was less that's why she chose the cone. I was a little irritated because I felt that she took advantage of my daughter when I stepped away. She's 11 check with her parent which is 5 feet away washing a bottle. Meh. I've maybe had cold stone once or twice along time ago and decided to try it out again since I didn't feel like fighting getting in the parking lot for frostbites over at magnolia and Tyler. I tried the mint chocolate chip (mint mint chocolate chocolate chip?) not sure why the use of the names twice? I mentioned when I walked in I really hadn't been to one before or in a while And wasn't sure how it worked. the girls just kind of said "oh we'll let you look at the menu" without trying to explain it to me and just walked to the back. I was the only person there. Could have let me know how it works. I didn't realize I could have gotten one filling or extra, whatever they call it, until I already had my ice cream. I got it in a waffle bowl, a small size scoop. Some of the waffle bowl seemed like it wasn't made crispy like the waffle should be. Also, it was really shallow waffle bowl. It was a decent amount of ice cream, just expected the waffle to reach the bottom of the bowl they put the actual waffle bowl in. I ate my ice cream there where I continued to be the only person there the whole time. It was like 2 in the afternoon, so not a meal time. Would have thought in near 100 degree weather mid afternoon more people would be going out for ice cream. Don't know it it's cause people don't know this is here or what? While the one girl was still making my ice cream, the other was already ringing me up at the other end of the counter. One reason I didn't realize I couldn't get the extra items in there, what if I did and I already paid? Maybe I'll try it again sometime if the mood strikes me, but there are other places with ice cream in the area. I'll probably stick to frostbites which always seems to have some type of crowd. read more

Although the ice cream is delicious... don't let the "closed at 9pm" fool you... if you aren't in store by 830p (even 845p is REALLY pushing it) You won't be getting any ice cream. And if you do actually end up getting your ice cream... it will come with a higher price than $4-8 dollars. As the OPEN sign will be turned off, all the tables and chairs will be stacked up leaving no room to enjoy so you're forced to leave and the staff will be extremely rude and pushy to get customers in and out in the fastest manner possible. If your sign says you're open until 9, then staff should be HAPPILY serving customers until that time and then focusing on cleaning and stacking up. Harder for them to mix ice cream as waffle bowls and topping boxes are spewed all over and jumbled in what looked like an attempt to clean up to in fact LEAVE at 9pm. Customers expect that if you say you're open until 9pm that you are in fact open and fully operating until 9pm. read more

Ordered cake online on June 23rd. Sent my dad in to pick up cake for the party at 1130 on 7.7 ... Party started at noon. The only person working there informed him that there was no order. I sent him the confirmation which he showed the employee at which point she apologized and told him the cake decorator called in sick the day before. No one called at any point to tell us the cake would not be ready so we could make other plans. WORST experience of my life. Terrible management, terrible customer service. Almost ruined my 3 year olds bday party. Really, you don't have a back up plan for your decorator calling in sick? No one is responsible to inform people that their cake WON'T be ready? Ridiculous. I understand the manager can't always be there. Hire responsible people. read more
