Cake was fine. They couldn't write on it and for 40$ I guess I expected more but it tasted good and was as promised just pricy

I think the cupcake consistency could be described as a firm banana bread firmness. The little dot on top didn't have any flavor. Atmosphere - No strange or strong odors or smells. No music playing when I visited. I liked that. I prefer no music over loud music. I don't like loud music. It's hard to hear with loud music. No seating or tables, just a pick up location. They have a cupcake vending machine attached to the outside of the building. Service - There were about two employees. The service here was quick. Order and pay at the counter. Parking - Surface parking lot. Limited parking shared with other stores. No parking meter or parking structures. Unique - Maybe not so unique anymore, but they have the cupcake vending machine. Did not see a health rating on Yelp. Seemed clean and organized when I visited.

There's plenty of parking behind the storefronts and to the side of the shop. There's also a very cute "cupcake ATM" on the side of the building so you can grab n go without having to enter the store. I've been in a few times after work to bring home a 6-pack of cupcakes to the family. They usually have around ten flavors to choose from. Two are gluten free and one is a vegan option. Service is always friendly and pleasant. I used Apple Pay this last visit and just tapped my phone to pay. Tipping is optional. They have other treats like seasonal cookies and brownies, and pre wrapped treats at the counter. There isn't much for dining in the shop. It's mostly a takeout design. Cupcakes come in a sturdy cardboard carry case with a paper bag for carrying with ease. These cupcakes are a little pricey with my 6-pack coming in around ~$30ish. They do have a large amount of the good kind of frosting on top of each cupcake. I'm a frosting girl so I think they're very good.

We learned upon arriving it is now called Lilibet's Cakery and English Tea Room (although the sign out front still says 21 Cupcakes). Two pairs of customers were inside enjoying a classic afternoon tea when we arrived, which looked lovely. The vibes are so adorable inside this tea room. I would definitely come back to the patio for tea time. This seems like a great place for a cute date, friend meetup, or princess tea. The staff person who helped us select our cupcakes was very nice, and she explained each of the choices of the cupcakes so we would know which cake was inside. Two of our party were interested in the Chocolate Chocolate with only one cupcake remaining, and she said she could help us by pipping one fresh from the back. The cupcakes are so tasty and not overly sweet cakes. I like just a tad more sugary cake, but my partner was delighted by the taste. The chocolate icing was delicious (mine was a yellow cake with chocolate icing). My mom's one disappointment she mentioned when we got in the car to bring them home was, "Those are much smaller than they used to be." She likes a bigger cupcake than their current larger size. I thought they were a decent medium size, but the birthday girl wanted a bit more cupcake on her special day, especially since they used to be larger when it was called 21 Cupcakes. Next time, I would order her two. I also liked the idea of the tiny cupcakes so you could try more flavors, so next time I visit, I would maybe consider 2-3 tiny ones to try over a few days. They also had a lot of cookies I took a photo of that looked yummy, but we did not try any. Definitely give Lilibet's a try for a sweet treat in Scottsdale!

They have floral wallpaper and flowers everywhere inside, along with the cutest lights. Even the bathroom was sweetly decorated. It is a casual, busy little tea room in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Along with tea being served and customers coming in to purchase beautiful cupcakes and cakes there were also quite a few curious people looking in. Lillibet's has the nicest people serving tea. Very friendly and yet not dominating the tea conversation. Because of the size of the tea room you definitely hear the other people so the experience can depend on the others inside. They offer a variety of teas and on this visit they had seasonal teas as well, which we both chose. I had a gingerbread tea that was very complex and interesting and my tea mate had plum cider and found it unusual but tasty. The three tier tea treats were composed of a variety of sandwiches, four scones, beautiful cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, and macarons. Everything was tasty and neither of us could finish it all so they gave us the cutest little take home boxes. Since we were celebrating a birthday I had also ordered a cake ahead of time to take home. The vintage heart cake was beautiful and delicious with icing that was lovely but not too sweet at all. Their web site is filled with all of the beautiful cakes they make. A great treat place!
