The Nothing Bundt Cakes location on Scottsdale Road has great customer service, tasty treats, and awesome deals and promotions! I have visited this location more than a dozen times over the years. There are three size cakes that I have ordered: bite-sized bundtinis, small bundtlet cakes, and full-sized bundt cakes. I have ordered several bundlets and occasional dozen bundtinis at a time for gatherings at home. I have also ordered full-sized bundt cakes before with a themed decoration to be placed in the middle of the cake. Each bundtini, bundtlet, or bundt cake has tasty icing and even more tasty cake often with chocolate chips or sprinkles cooked into the cake. The promotions and deals are great to know about! First, while I used to fill out punch cards, there is now an app where you can track purchases and earn points redeemable for free bundlets. Second, you can sign up for a birthday club and get a free bundtlet for your birthday. Next, every other month or so, you can get an e-mail with a Buy One Bundtlet, Get One Bundtlet Free coupon. Finally, every now and then is a special occasion like a grand opening of another location. That happened a few months ago for the Tempe Marketplace location. You can also order ahead of time for pick-up and delivery. Oh, and the hours are very reasonable: Daily from 9 AM to 6 PM except for Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. The bundt cakes are always so delicious. They are amazing and always made the same with cute little strips of cream cheese frosting. I wonder if they could do a no cream cheese frosting for a few dollar discount. My favorite was the white chocolate raspberry. I liked it a little better than the strawberry one. That one tastes like cereal to me. A yummy captain crunch cereal. The chocolate one is good but a little basic since it plain chocolate. My facility feels the same way about the confetti bundt. It doesn't have a distinct flavor. The snickerdoodle was interesting though it was mostly the cinnamon flavor that made the difference. I could see it tasting like a snickerdoodle. Didn't notice until I got home but the confetti bunt is literally half the size it should be. This is the tiniest bunt I have ever seen and I can't believe they would put this out. Nothing Bundt Cakes are truly the best cakes I've ever had and it would be almost impossible to top. I remember the first time I had one, it was gifted to me at Christmas time by a coworker. It was so good, that I went soon after to test out some for myself. I soon discovered the confetti cake and to this day it remains my all time favorite cake. I even evangelized my sister, who is obsessed with cake. She agrees that nothing tops NBC. My all time favorite is the confetti, but I've tried pretty much every flavor that they have. Other favorites are Strawberries & Cream and the White Chocolate Raspberry. I am due to head in for their newest limited time offering, Oreo Cookies & Cream! Only downside to NBC is that they pretty much have bank hours. They're open from like 9a-6p Monday through Saturday and are closed on Sundays. The total opposite of any bakery you've ever seen. So that does make it difficult for most folks to get here. There have been many times where I've wanted to pick up some bundtlets for a snack only to realize it's after 6p so they are closed. I love this place so much. My mom has celiacs disease and they even have an amazing gluten free cake that you'd never know was gluten free. It also comes in bundtlets which are perfect for one to two people. The two reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars is because (1) both times I've ordered birthday cakes (24-48 hours prior) from this location and gone to pick them up they are never ready on time. And (2) the baseball decoration is rolling around the cake, which I think the manager decorating and I both noticed but I'm in such a rush I ignored it, and I think she just hoped I wouldn't notice. You can clearly see the glue all over the bow where the ball is supposed to sit. I set a noon pick up time today and it wasn't ready until 12:40. I understand they're busy. But when I stated my pick up time was noon and it's 12:30 the response was "well the manager is decorating and she had to take a phone call." Maybe call the person who ordered it and give them a heads up so they're not standing their waiting when they're in a hurry. I also watched 3 people, two of which had later pick up times, get their orders before me. I will 100% keep ordering from Nothing Bundt Cakes because it's SO good.
