My brother and I both ordered the Apple pie dumpling ice cream special and it was honestly the worst thing I ever put in my mouth! The dumplings were COMPLETELY raw and all we tasted was raw dough. The apple slices were also cold. The description for the special states it would be hot and fluffy and it was quite the opposite of that. The service there is also bad with only one staff working there that looks like he rather be somewhere else. read more

Small shop that offers plenty of options. Would recommend not getting an apple dumpling, too big and takes longest of anything there. Apple pie a la cold stone is a better option as it can be had in any size and is much faster. Some employees take short cuts but you will have no problem getting what you want if you are specific on your request. It's also cold stone policy to replace your ice cream even if you just don't like it. So if you are upset with it , no need to fuss just say something and have another ( even different one) remade even if there is not technically anything wrong with what was asked for. My boyfriend and I love going to this shop. The view is beautiful and the specialty ice creams are so good! The girl who made our ice cream, I think her name was Marissa, she was new but she did an amazing job. The staff there is friendly and the store is always clean! read more

Poor customer service Pricey ice cream (yes, I do know we are in Sedona) Ice cream tasted OK I don't go to cold stone often, so I am not well versed in their pricing. After asking how many mix-ins the 1.89 kids scoop came with, the clerk said as many as we wanted. He did not mention that the five or so gummi bears and crumble of kit kat over doubled the cost. I thought two kids scoops with two mix-ins each was a little pricey at $9. Next time, I will for sure try one of the local ice cream shops in town. read more

If I could give this store zero star I would. Two employees were horrible told a group of friends and I "to get the F$&&$: out of the store" they walked out and left one other employee by himself. If you read the less than stellar reviews here there is a consistent theme: employees who either don't know what they're doing, or don't care. We made the mistake of giving this location a 2nd chance after a poor first visit. First time the guy who mixed our ice cream seemed to be new, nice enough but had no idea what he was doing. Ordered the new Meyer Lemon and asked for golden Oreo add-in....literally got one small piece of Oreo. The young woman working with him seemed to have no interest in helping him learn how to do his job. Is there any training happening here? Second visit about a week later...just our luck, we get the same guy...ordered a Coffee ice cream +Heath bar....same exact experience...2 small chips of Heath bar. C'mon people, this is the place where you are supposed to get "chunky" ice cream...and let's face it, that's what you're paying a premium for. 2 stars only because the ice cream itself was good, but if this store wasn't in a tourist town it wouldn't be in business. read more

Not satisfied with the customer service at this cold stone. There were two employees who were not friendly and did not tend to us right away. One of them was making waffle cup cones without gloves, even after touching his personal phone. I expected more hygene and friendliness.
