    Coldstone in Silver Springs
    Bruce K.

There are a couple of ice cream places nearby, but Coldstone is the only one that really does mix-ins and when you want your chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and brownie bits, this is the spot to go to. The line moved slowly, probably because they didn't have as many people working tonight as needed. When it was eventually my turn, the young lady did a good job of mixing and adding, eventually overfilling my small cup quite nicely.

Apple Pie a la Cold Stone

27 July 2021 - my nephew and I ordered the apple pie a la coldstone and he had the cookie dough/sprinkles creation (can't find the name). Enjoyed as usual

This review is based on the custom ice cream cake service. I was throwing a surprise party for my boyfriend's 25th birthday. He only likes ice cream cake and has never had Coldstone EVER, so I thought ordering a cake from here would be perfect. I ordered two cakes, a small rectangle cake and a small round cake. On the rectangle I asked to have "Happy Birthday Joe & Neptune!" written on the cake. My boyfriend and our dog share a birthday I had to get his name on there too. On the small cake I just wanted "25!" written on it. I placed my order about a week in advance and waited. I go to pick up my cake and the guy informs me that she didn't write "25!" on the small round cake because she wasn't sure if it was a typo. Excuse me who can put three whole characters, including an exclamation point, in as a mistake? Also, Coldstone has all of my information. In the week leading up to this, no one could call me or email me to ASK if it was a typo? I tell him, no big deal just leave it blank. He then brings the cake and on the rectangle cake is "Happy Birthday Joe & Neptune" atrociously written. It was disgusting. I will include a picture so you can see. Thankfully I had enough adornments for the cake to draw people's attention away from how disgustingly the message was written. If I'm spending $86 on some damn ice cream cake, I expect a cake that looks like it was $50. Please don't charge me a premium price and give me below average product. That's just disrespectful. The cake was delicious, no doubt, but I could have gotten a cake that was just as delicious, with presentable script for less than what I paid.

    Sweet cream and Oreos

I went to cold stone last night after dinner. I got my usual sweet cream and Oreos. It was delicious of course. Cold stones ice team is consistent if nothing else. The only issue I have is that I think more Oreos should be added when a customer is getting only Oreos as an addition. But that's not this locations fault, I think that comes down from corporate.

I showed up at 9:47 and the doors were already locked. I showed them my phone with the time. They opened the door and said they had run out of ice cream. Riiiiiight.

Such a great selection of ice cream and you can taste before you commit to a flavor!

Visited Cold Stone after having a sushi dinner around the corner. Ordered a Gotta Love It because it less than 50 cents more than the smallest size. There was no line/waiting. The person that took our order was very kind and even threw in an extra topping for free. My partner and I shared this desert for three days (that's how big and filling it was). We got buttercream ice cream and added the following toppings: chocolate cake, cookies, cookie dough, pecans, chocolate syrup and caramel. All of the ingredients tasted extremely fresh. Would come back here again.

Open sign with times posted but store is closed.

Showed up at 10:17 PM on a Saturday night the store sign said open; the time on the door said open til 11pm; and, the website said that the store should be open until 11pm. Upon asking the young lady who was still inside of the store sweeping the floor with all of the chairs stacked up she flipped the sign to closed and went back to her sweeping. If the hours have changed, then you should update your information.

Do better! This is clearly not the right size!

I wish that when I ordered my ice cream the person behind the counter yesterday 10/29/2020 would have informed me that the size ice cream that I wanted they didn't have the proper containers for! Instead I got charged regular price for a smaller container with a large lid that was full of SOFT ice cream that leaked through the bag on into my car before I could make it home and I live about 10 minutes down the street!!

    Oreo overload

Hubby loved his ice cream but I went in for the dipped cookie dough email I received earlier today but the cashier said even with the emails and signs posted, they didn't get a shipment of them until tomorrow

Love It w/ vanilla ice cream plus Oreos.

Got a Love It w/ vanilla ice cream plus Oreos. The lady barely put any Oreos in. She was also being stingy with my friend's sprinkles. She had to ask 3x for more sprinkles.

Normal Cold Stone. However, DO NOT GO ON SUNDAY. It's packed beyond belief and the wait time is crazy!

They're located on Georgia right next to Denizens, and It's kind of in the cut and hard to see (well it was for me). If you're coming in from East-West Highway (pro tip: don't if you're driving, the parking there is restricted and they tow) you have to walk down stairs between the 1830 building and Denizens to find it. They allow one party in the building at a time. My boys and I went in and the young man immediately asked if we were just using the restroom or also getting ice cream-- I doubt they have public restrooms but I was on a trot after 3 hours out-- and when he realized we were getting ice cream, he didn't allow anyone in until we came out of the bathroom, ordered and left. Very safe. Their ice cream is clean, delicious, and their flavors are unique. I tried honey lavender and It was SOOO good until the very end ( I ate a bit of lavender and didn't taste anything else til I was done). The boys' strawberry ice cream was delicious and NOT pink- we avoid red dyes so this was exactly what we were looking for. The sugar cones are just the right size for the small children and they don't overstuff the cones a la Brusters and Ben and Jerry's. These are just right in size and price for kids. They didn't have a "kids cone" option per se (but I didn't ask) we just did a single scoop. That's one thing I'd like- a cake cone (smaller) with a kid sized scoop. As ir was, I got a scoop and a half helping the 3 year old finish. The 6 year old inhaled it in 2 minutes so it's just about right! Overall it's close to home, easy to get to once you know it's there and had great service plus AWESOME ice cream. I cannot wait to try the ginger, coconut, and wild blueberry! Lo

Calling the selection good would be an understatement. Flavors and styles lined the walls, and they have even introduced seasonal spring drinks alongside their custards and Italian ice. I ordered a gelati, which came with two flavors and the option to add a warm brownie in the center. They also offer prepackaged pints to take home. The only item that could not be sampled was the not fried chicken, their iconic Shark Tank inspired creation shaped like a chicken leg, where the novelty lies more in the form than the flavor. Some flavors had intriguing names like Tiger Blood and Midnight Fantasy, and the staff were more than happy to explain each one in detail. *Midnight Fantasy: featured a chocolate base mixed with chunks of brookie. It leaned heavier with a slightly grainy texture from the cookie pieces, but the chocolate itself was not overly sweet. It worked best when paired with something lighter. The brookie itself was well balanced, with a fudgy brownie component and a cookie that had a snickerdoodle like quality. *Mango Italian Ice: had a clean, fruity flavor and a smooth texture. It was not overly icy and paired nicely with the custard on top. *Honey Milk: was my favorite of everything I tried. The honey flavor came through strongly, both in taste and aroma, while the milky richness added a smooth creaminess. It paired beautifully with the Italian ice and balanced the richness of the Midnight Fantasy. *Spring Break Soda: was an interesting take on a Sprite style drink, with kiwi syrup, blue raspberry syrup, grenadine, and cold foam. It definitely delivered a sugar rush. There was a tropical feel, but it may be best suited for those with a serious sweet tooth. There is likely something for everyone here, and the friendly service makes it easy to find your match. While I would probably skip the sodas, the Italian ice and custard stood out for their quality.
