Literally 4 people behind the counter and all the table including outside tables are dirty. Second time here and both times all the tables were dirty. No one bothers to clean them throughout the day. I was disappointed tonight when I came in at 8:10 p.m. They were advertising an ice cream they didn't have in stock. Different ice creams were in different containers because it wasn't cleaned up from where they should over. The person working the front had a long ponytail and her hair was flying everywhere when she moved around. In addition, she had hair pulled in front of the visor so that dangle down her face and neck and wasn't very hygienic. They were out of waffle cones, out of waffle bowls 2 hours prior to close. Not sure how we rate but I guess it pays to be dating someone who works here. Whatever her name is but her friends got served before us even though they were behind us in line and she just appeared behind the counter. Sounds like a manager needs to be called. read more

Hailey was down right rude, as if she wanted nothing to do with us, and when we asked if someone else could help us she said "okayyy". Brendan came to help us and rolled his eyes when he asked what he could hep us with. Unfortunately, even with the eye rolling in the beginning he was still nicer than Hailey. I have visited the South Hill location and had wonderful service, and I'm sad that the location closer to my house is so disappointing. Also today was our son's 18th Birthday and this was his chose for dessert, and sadly it was ruined by rudeness. read more

I love Coldstone both for their Cookie Doughn't You Want Some and their Birthday Cake Remix. Both are pretty rich but so delicious. I can't say that I have any complaints about this location besides recently, when one of the employees didn't seem to put much thought or effort into making my ice cream order. Not a huge ice cream person but really enjoyed the cotton candy and cheese cake mixes with marshmallows and twix. The staff is young but professional and enthusiastic. Good place for a quick and sweet treat in the area. read more

Very disappointed in this place. My family loves it, and it has been our go-to treat for over a long time now. My son cannot have ice cream, and they have delicious sorbet. But when I try to order online for pick up the system always says that they are "too busy"-even when online offers double points. But tonight after trying to order online I walked into the store with three people in front of me and four employees working. Four minute wait no double points. I spent $24 on ice cream that was slept together and barely filled the containers. This isn't the first time this has happened either. It is very disappointing to promise my family a treat and take them poorly mixed ice cream with a few toppings thrown on top. If that is what I wanted I could go to the grocery store and save about $20. I have given them the benefit of the doubt through the heat wave all summer when they actually were busy but tonight is probably the last chance. Very poor service for months now. read more

Went in for a shake this afternoon with my husband, it was just us when we walked in, we were waiting for about 5+ min for someone from the back to come help us at the counter. One of the employees (Riley) finally came out and had horrible customer service from the start. She acted like she was bombarded with customers when it was just us and 2 other customers that had walked in shortly after she started making my shake. She handed it to me without whip cream and i politely asked her if I could get whip cream on it and she grabbed the shake with attitude and put some nasty liquid cream on it and slide it back on the counter and said "that's as good as it's going to get." My husband then returned in after to get the shake remade once she was done helping other customers so we wouldn't cause a scene and she still had an attitude. How much do you have to hate your job to have that rude of customer service when all you do is scoop ice cream!! She needs to be fired. read more

I came all the way from the Idaho - Canada border for Stone Cold. My heart sunk when I thought they closed it. I almost cried. Evil evil good. Such a wide range of choices in toppings. Put it together any way you want. All chocoholic OD if you want. Create your own unique taste and name it after your cat or dog if that's what you want. My wife's favorite flavor of all time is the Dark Chocolate Mint that only comes around during christmas time. This needs to a year round flavor just to keep my wife happy. I personally love the peanut butter cup signature. Keep em coming! read more

I walked into Cold Stone tonight for the first time ever. I was treating my teenage daughter - a special time. A new cone was featured in a huge delicious looking photo: The Peachy -n- Dreamy. I sampled the peach ice cream and it was good! So I put in my order and waited eagerly for the masterpiece. What a joke. The kid put the ice cream on the slab and added the caramel, whipped cream, and a huge handful of the brown sugar looking stuff, and mixed it all together. He worked that pile out and then put the concoction in the cone and gave it to me. I just laughed and showed it to my daughter who laughed too. I held it next to the poster of the real one to show the difference and said that it doesn't look anything like it. We laughed so hard. Then I tasted the slop and I couldn't taste any peach ice cream. It tasted like brown sugar and caramel. I told my daughter it looked like "already eaten" ice cream and she agreed. We laughed about it all the way home and I threw it away. We had fun, tho, making up more fitting names for the ice cream store, like: "Kid Slop Cafe", "Stone Cold Ripoff", and ""Already Eaten Ice Cream". We'll stick with Starbucks Frappuccinos - they cost about the same but at least they look like the photo when they hand it to you. LOL. read more
