The ice cream menu is right above the order window, and espying Pistachio, I ordered from smiling friendly counter help a single scoop of Pistachio in a cup. My oh my, this was the best pistachio ice cream I've ever tucked away. This smooth ice cream had a pronounced pleasant pistachio flavor and plenty of pieces of pistachio as well. For the price, I thought the serving size was quite reasonable. Yes, I will be back.

We came across Sweet Frog and decided to stop by. Being from the west coast, we have our usual chain of frozen yogurt locations. Many of them don't have much of a theme or following like Sweet Frog. I feel like the marketing strategy works in Sweet Frog's favor and continues to attract new and returning customers. Sweet Frog is a frozen yogurt chain with a theme! The frog mascot is similar to Sanrio's Keroppi character. They carry plushies in 3 different sizes as well as t-shirts. Everywhere that you look, you'll see that frog! Their flavors are similar to what you'd find at most frozen yogurt establishments. However, they had some unique flavors like frosted animal cookie and blue cotton candy. Every ice cream/yogurt dispenser had the frog on display as well. It was so cute! Their ice cream is sweet, but isn't overloaded with sugar. I got a small cup or orange cream ice cream and added pop rocks candies as well as popping boba for my toppings. Everything is low calorie and delicious. I know that we went to another location in Maryland a few year ago, but this experience was different. There were a lot of people here, so you know that it was good! The lady at the front counter was really nice. Our whole experience at Sweet Frog was great. This will be my go to place when we come back for our annual trip to Virginia.

Even after we followed that rule, the employees rolled their eyes at us, which felt unprofessional. The checkout process was also frustrating. They weighed our first three yogurt cups together, then made us weigh one of those same cups again separately instead of simply resetting the scale and weighing them correctly. I tried to explain the issue, but they didn't seem to understand and again responded by rolling their eyes. If a SweetFrog manager sees this, this occurred on July 12 around 7:00 p.m. The employees working that evening could definitely use additional customer service training.

While the Choco Heaven and Dirty Brownies are very rich, bold flavors, they overpower other flavors. The Coffee Oreo and Tiramisu were a bit in the background and a bit muted. The Matcha and Super Oreo were divine and paired really well together in a split scoop (2 flavors in a single scoop). It's pretty rare to get split scoop now-a-days. The Super Oreo definitely delivered with Oreo cookies in every bite and the Matcha balanced out the sweetness and gave the flavor more depth. The blue Cookie Monster was delicious with chunks of cookies in every bite. Both my kids and I really enjoyed it so much that we went back for another scoop!
