Oh lord... if you are a grown up don't come here on a Friday night lol! This place was packed with loud teenagers sampling everything and making a big mess. The tables were all dirty, and it was just overall pretty messy! They have a good selection of froyo flavors, I usually just get the original tart, but I had to go with the dole strawberry, it was really good! Toppings are the usual, fruits, sprinkles, nuts, etc. Good for satisfying the cravings, but hopefully next time we come the place is cleaner! read more

The flavors were a bit lacking at this location. They were out of cookies and cream a few hours before closing. The toppings were typical and well stocked. Seating was limited and the place was over run by high schoolers. Hubby said NY cheesecake tasted weird-unlike other fro yo locations. The price was as expected but still seemed much for limited options. There is a DQ nearby and I'd probably visit that over this sweet frog in the future although I doubt I find myself put this way anytime soon. read more

Was craving froyo and this was close enough to me, so I decided to give it a try. Place was dirty, and packed with a bunch of loud teenagers and kids, but I guess that's expected at this type of business. The yogurt was good, not the best I've had, but it did the trick with my cravings. It had been a long time since I'd eaten self-serve fro yo, but I welcomed the opportunity when we visited the Sweet Frog at the Kingstowne Center in Alexandria, VA on a very hot day recently! This place was such a welcome respite from the heat outside. As usual, I got the plain fro yo with some of my favorite toppings, including maraschino cherries, mochi, fruit poppers, blueberries, cheesecake squares, and coconut shavings. SO good!! Over all it's delicious! You can get little samples of the yogurts. So if you get something you don't like it's your fault lol! It's self served so pick at your choice haha! & I like sweets but I've made the mistake many times of adding such diverse candy flavors all at once & the candies messed it up lol. slow down with the toppings! Went in here last night and grabbed some dessert to go. After reading all of the reviews, I expected it to be messy and filled with teenagers. It was clean and packed with adults who likely just left the movie theater across the street. Though the flavors are somewhat limited. This froyo place was as good as pretty much any other. It was nothing special but definitely hit the spot. The price was comparable to other frozen yogurt spots. I'll probably be back if I ever get another random dessert craving. read more

This Sweet Frog is right in front of the Kingstowne Movie Theaters and always attracts a crowd. The treats are very good but service can be spotty, as tonight, when there was only one employee manning the shop. She had to get some more toppings and the crowd/line began to form. She ran two scales, which was actually efficient, but she needed help. While the treats are good, the price is higher than I would want to spend. So we come occasionally, but my kids love this place. read more

Love the employees here at the location as a Kingstowne resident but VERY, VERY disappointed that management WILL NOT use one of the rewards programs. We come here at least 3x week and the other locations are not that far. It may be time to try another location if loyalty doesn't matter!! Update, September 2017 - the rewards program has been added. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this establishment. Clean place and the lady that works there, Irma, is wonderful!! She made me feel happy because she is happy to see the folks that come into the place. It's obvious and sincere. Very sweet. Staff that treat you nice goes a long way! If they treat you badly your mood can go south. I actually decided to have a seat and chat a bit and I usually keep to myself. Business was slow at the hour I arrived there. Afterwards, I enjoyed doing some shopping in the numerous stores in that shopping center. I strongly recommend this particular Sweet Frog! read more

I came in here recently while waiting for a movie one Saturday afternoon. There are several dozen flavors of frozen yogurt that are dispensed by machine into the cup you select. I got blue and purple (blueberry and grape, not sure). There are also dozens of toppings to choose from. I got snow-cap sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles. The prices are inexpensive and there is outdoor seating. A good place for a quick dessert. read more

Came here for a frozen yogurt after work and i was pleased with this location. I love their customer service, the sweet young lady assisted me while the store was busy and others with patience especially with it being the weekend. My daughter worked here (when it was located on Van Dorn) and my personal opinion is that the management is excellent. The owners and their son Daniel were extremely respectful and accommodating to my daughter as an employee. They use fresh, expensive ingredients and are very clean. I worked in the restaurant industry as a young adult for several years, and was instantly impressed at how often they cleaned the machines and rotated their products. In the past they have had issues with accepting other stores coupons and rewards cards since punches can be easily faked. If you want free product, shop from the same store. Most locations are independent franchises, and lose money when customers (potentially) scam them. read more

The Alexandria Kingstowne Sweet Frog, which I just located this week. was extremely clean . Jocelyn was the only person working and it was extremely busy. She was amazing! She was constantly wiping down the topping area, while working the cash register with a smile. She is an A+++++ employee and tI told her so. The owner is very lucky to have her. My first time after Haagen Daz moved and I realized the need to cut fat and calories. I love the mango and watermelon flavors, where you can sprinkle raspberries, blueberries, blackberries ... as well as the taro where you can sprinkle lychee flavored bubble beads and whatever else you fancy. I didn't try it this time, but apparently the cookies and cream flavor is one of the most popular ones, which means that it is worth trying the next time. I really like the staff who were very nice, patient and helpful. Customer service was premium. Everything was sparkling clean and the staff clean after each wave of people leave (I know cos I was there for about 2 hours). Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a low fat but still delicious treat as an alternative to regular ice cream. There are plenty of tables on the terrace to sit and chat with friends. This place is dirty and disgusting. I found a hair in my ice cream--probably from one of the many people hanging over the candy toppings. They reach in with their hands to grab the candy and nobody stops them. This place needs a visit by a someone who inspects restaurants from the health department. The floors are obviously never swept. The tables are never wiped. I fear touching anything. I don't think I want to even know what's all over the walls the tables are up against. read more
