Worst Service Experience I've Ever Had - Avoid Zeigler Honda of Kalamazoo at All Costs…read more I had the unfortunate luck of breaking down in Kalamazoo while visiting family. I took my car to Zeigler Honda, assuming a dealership would be the easiest. Big mistake. They quoted me $4,000 for a new clutch on a car with only 40,000 miles. The estimate was nearly double what multiple independent mechanics quoted me. I was told that if Honda ever issued a recall, only work done through a dealership would qualify for reimbursement--so I felt completely trapped. The service advisor assured me this was the worst-case scenario and said the parts would be sent to Honda for review after the repair. Once the job was done, they changed their story--said they'd "held the parts" for me but wouldn't be sending anything in. Honda already issued Technical Service Bulletin 22-017 acknowledging premature clutch wear due to a supplier defect. Zeigler charged double the labor listed in that bulletin, and to make things worse, they performed additional work I never authorized, which ended up causing additional issues I had to have corrected elsewhere. In short: this dealership is dishonest, overpriced, and untrustworthy. I've owned Hondas for many years, and this experience was such a disaster that it's made me question the brand altogether. If you ever find yourself needing repairs in or around Kalamazoo, take your car literally anywhere else. You'll save money, time, and a lot of frustration. Zeigler Honda is an embarrassment to the Honda name.

Last time at Zeigler, listen to the other reviews. I've been coming for years but my last oil…read morechange experience was the worst and the most expensive. The service staff was nice, but I miss Rich and his absence was noticed. They were not busy at all. I waited over an hour with zero check in or communication. My car was gone from the service bay for over 40mins, and again no communication. They used to check in when the service was done and it went to the wash, clearly not anymore. I've never had this experience and will never be returning. Do your self a favor and go anywhere else but here. There are too many good shops in Portage/Kzoo to subject yourself to this.

Gil Travis Corey Chris, these guys are great. Great to work with. Alright great place to a vehicle…read more Very happy with everything here.

We (my fiancé (26) and myself (25)) had scheduled an appointment with the service team at Seelye…read more We had purchased our F150 the previous year and needed the brakes to be looked at as it was squeaking. The morning when we arrived it was very chaotic, the workers were obviously unhappy. As we waited to be helped I watched as they frantically were shuffling papers and such. We gave them the keys around 8am. At around 10am they texted us, letting us know the truck was ready. We drove back to get it and were met with more unhappy chaos, and given keys then the worker, Jason, walked away. At this time Jason had mentioned that there was confusion in the back on where the keys were located and that he found them on the "not done" board. When we walked up to our truck we realized they were NOT our keys. We had to walk back in and ask for our keys. We were met by a different service worker who got us the correct keys. We drove home and almost an hour later I received a call from them that the truck was actually NEVER looked at. This is extremely disappointing and unsettling. They blamed it on a busy drop-off this morning. However I dropped my car off at the time on my appointment. When I mentioned the key mishap to the manager on duty he stated that "this doesn't happen often" and that he could remember the last time this happened "six months ago". I told him I do not trust that my keys would not be given to someone else and some people would not be as honest and potentially steal my truck! They apologized, but no one took accountability or acknowledged that this was extremely unprofessional and wrong. I am disappointed to say that I do not feel comfortable, or welcomed, at Seelye Ford and we will not be able to return.
