I cannot speak for others, but personally I had a very poor experience at Cole Nissan. Not only did they offer me a ridiculous and unreasonable lease offer on a new Frontier (I was born at night, but not last night) they would not move off the purchase price one cent. I did counter their lease offer and their purchase price offer. Perhaps they viewed my counter offers as unreasonable as their original offers, but I was at least expecting a counter offer maybe somewhere in the middle. I never heard from them again. If you want to negotiate a fair deal on a vehicle this ain't the place to do it. I ended up buying from Fox Nissan in Kentwood, MI who were great to deal with. read more

Exceptional Customer Service. My Pathfinder was recently serviced and there was a minor hiccup that was not intentional or neglectful. Not only was the Service Advisor, Ally amazing, but she went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Ally did a great job navigating the situation with respect, consideration, and was solution focused. I personally would revisit the Stadium Drive location just because the service was outstanding. In a world where average or poor customer service is has become acceptable in so many arenas, I for one still value great service where I am spending my money. Phoned Cole Auto Group to schedule auto repair. Was told Cole Nissan could make the required repairs to my 2013 Buick Verano. Dropped the car off Friday as I was told they would try to work on it Saturday. They did not. I received a call mid Monday morning stating Cole Nissan could not make the repairs required. Thank you Hanna, NOT! So it's up to me to find another facility to make the required repairs. All other facilities are 5+ days out. Not convenient when your car is needed everyday. Obviously, more training is needed within the Cole Auto Group because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Update: I was contacted by the Cole Auto Group. They have scheduled my car for Wednesday planning on completing it by Thursday. This would be at the Westnedge location. Let see what happens....... read more

My 2021 Nissan Rogue came in for oil change and tire rotation. The Team was ready and finished very timely. Service Manager reviewed the service that was done. Pointed out that my tires were wearing close to replacement. This disappoints me as Rogue is 14 months old with 16,000 miles. The Dunlop tires that came from the factory not impressive tread life wise. It appears the warranty is only 6 months. Not so good. Great vehicle otherwise read more

I come from a GM family but a couple years ago I bought a Nissan Versa from a family member because I needed a car. The adage that I was always told was "never take the car to the dealership, its always a rip off"... Well, then comes Cole Nissan. They have me sold on brand and dealership loyalty through their amazing customer service and their pricing. For instance, an oil change, a constant thing in peoples lives... Cole Nissan has taken it to the next level where it pays me to have them do it. For around $60, i get picked up and drop off to and from work for my appointment, they change my oil, change my filters, WASH MY CAR! Their super courteous, they have free coffee and popcorn in the lobby. I have had two recalls on my car since I have owned it for various issues and they are fantastic about it! Not only did I get a super nice loaner car(which they tried to sell me, i mean who wouldn't?!) but, when they had the front end tore apart to replace the "recalled part" they noticed that a couple parts were super worn. So they called me and said asked if I wanted them replaced, all I had to pay for were the parts since Nissan had was paying to have that part of the car taken apart and reassembled anyway. They saved me TONS of money! I cannot say enough good and happy things about them. The staff is super, the remember me every time. I have a authenticate relationship with them. My next car if I have anything to say about it is definitely going to be a Nissan. OH! and the versa is fantastic, most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. lol :-) read more

Yes you pay more at the dealership but they give quality reliable work quickly and communicate extremely well and don't pressure you. They also know exactly what to do with your make of car and what to look out for. Have not had to go back for return work and feel at ease when I pick the car up. Had Steve as a salesman. LOTS of inaccurate information. Doesnt return calls or emails. No communication about software updates needed on the Frontier. Scheduled delivery for 4;oo pm but never told me. I had to call Nic another salesman to find out that he would handle the delivery because Steve was out for the week. Pricing changed several times with Steve. mileage charges were quoted by Steve at $0.15 but contract shows $0.25. Was told sorry if that is a deal breaker. Never met the GM or the Finance Manager. Market Adjustment pricing changes depending on who you ask Anywhere from $0 - $2000. Funny how they claim this Market Adjustment is due to high demand, yet they had the truck for three months. High demand ? Absolute worst sales and customer service from Steve, Any commission should be paid to Nic as he was the guy that answered all the questions and came to work to wrap up the deal. Will be refinancing immediately to ensure the dealership doesnt get there kick back from Nissan, To top things off, I find out from my insurance agent that I dont have any insurance on the truck because Steve never contacted them to obtain the insurance binder, Left the dealership with the truck with no insurance and no idea until speaking to my agent. Very deceptive and dangerous business practices Will never purchase or have service here again. read more

Professional. On time. Very responsive. Told me the truth about my brakes, which were not as bad as I was led to believe by the Nissan dealer in Mishawaka, IN. Plus, their price was much better than the other Nissan dealer. And, they took care of something the other dealer broke on my car and replaced it for free. Hands down...a terrific experience. Went here to have new fobs programmed and keys cut for my Maxima. Went on a Saturday when it was super slow and had to spend entirely too much time there. I realize that the B squad of techs have to work the weekends, but had I not solved their issues for them, I may have spent an entire day there. DO NOT allow them to perform complimentary car wash. I suspect they use unfiltered well water which left hundreds of scaly spots on the car. The car is better off dirty. read more

The day I had last month really reminded me why my fellow brothers and sisters started BLACK LIVES MATTER. Well Sept 4 me and my fiancee wanted to trade our 2012 Chevy Equinox in it had got up there in miles and a winter fender bender made it kinda unappealing. So I called the Nissan on Stadium drive before me and my fiancee came to the dealership I told them i had a trade in and 1000 to put on a better SUV that I wanted to test drive and acquire they said sure come on down. I also told them that I had lost my physical driver's license but I had took a picture of it on my smartphone they reassured me that everything was fine and to come on down to the dealership. So Sept 14th me and my fiancee came to the dealership where we were greeted by a tall blonde young man I told him we had called prior to coming and that we spoke with a female and a gentleman who told us to come test drive the used SUV. So he said okay and he went and drove the car around fir me to test drive the vehicle. This is where it gets strange and racist he young guy ask me for my license ( I'm the only driver in my home because my fiancee has a genetic eye disease and he can never drive again) I stated to the young guy I told the woman on the phone that I had the copy of my drivers license on my phone because I has lost my drivers license and the Secretary of State due to the Covid 19 we're not taking walkins only appointments and there's a long waiting list the woman told me that we could still test drive the SUV. The young guy said he had to ask his boss was it okay so he left for kinda a long time but he came back and told me that his boss told him that we couldn't and I didn't understand why other than tge fact that we we're black and my SUV was a little wore but I had already stated all that on the phone before we came there. So I politely asked to speak to his boss who wasn't in a appointment or anything he was just sitting in his office. We we're outside where the cars were. Well the young guy left to get his boss so we could talk to him about the test driving and acquiring the SUV. When the young man came back he told me h8s boss said that he wouldn't talk to us and that we couldn't test drive the vehicle I know why it was because we were black and he felt like we were beneath him even entertaining us and our needs it was truly upsetting to me. I was embarrassed and highly upset. I've provided that sane driver's license on my phone to government facilities and it was good enough for them. I know right then that the social climate of racism was right in my town of Kalamazoo Michigan at the Nissan dealership on Stadium drive. To my future brown and ethnic brothers and sisters don't waste your time at this Nissan dealership because they don't believe that Black Lives Matterat all. Also I called corporate and I talked with a gentleman and he told me that someone was going to call us but they never did. read more

Should be zero but Yelp doesn't allow that. Had service performed for oil change and tire rotation which was a package deal or so you would think. They were unable to rotate tires but still stated that was price to be charged. Also did not honor / accept coupons that they have posted on their own website. Stated it did not apply to service performed which it clearly did. Lesson learned. read more

I purchased a used car in 2013 from Cole Nissan and was looking to upgrade to a newer vehicle if possible and they came through. Feb 2017 I bought a brand new Nissan Titan. The sales person was extremely personable and did a wonderful job selling me in my Titan. He made me feel like I got a pretty good deal and if not, at least I felt respected. So much that I returned to purchase a vehicle for my daughter. I asked for my the same Titan sales person I had the previous experience with. To my surprise he was gone. I thought to myself that I've already spent pretty good money and that I would at least be taken seriously. We found my daughter a vehicle. They put some numbers together that was somewhat confusing. Needless to say they took 200 off and later, I felt buyers remorse. Another (my oldest) daughter went to Cole Nissan for a vehicle and they attempted to sell her a rusted out vehicle in the mechanics garage, in the air with the wheels off. I then went with her. The sales person Eric whom I'd just bought a vehicle from told me not only was it a good thing it was in the air. He said she could inspect the vehicle better. He then said I would get the VIP treatment because we had already purchased two cars from them. We found a vehicle and I was told they would be aggressive on this sale. That he would give me a call when the finance person returned. Not only did I not get a call, they text and called my daughter in attempt to leave me out of the equation. To my surprise they took literally nothing off the sales price. Not a single dollar on a used car. Also, I've gone in for oil changes with my Titan and they treat me pretty cold. One guy, I can't remember his name, treated me well, like I just purchased a $40,000+ Truck. But that was 1 of 4 Times. They other times I was treated cold. I set up a time to get a auto car start and you were to think I had said a bad word. In fact he said he didn't know. I had to say, who purchases a auto car start without knowing the price? He then handed me off to someone else who didn't know either Not sure what it takes to be respected there. Go to Battle Creek. I visited 4 lots there. Every lot was respectful and beyond competitive in their prices. A few weeks ago while looking at my bill of sale I observed that Cole Nissan owed me a key for my daughters Jeep. I called and was given several excuses by Eric although it had been months. I asked to speak to a manager. I have since spoken to an executive manager named Paul who has begun dealing with me directly. He has been attempting to make things right with me. His attentiveness to renew my relationship with this dealership has been a positive experience. I've updated this post to be fair. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't change my past experiences. But I appreciate the attempt to turn things around. read more

STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I would give this place negative stars if I could! bought a car in Decemver of 2018. Everything was inital great no issues at all. January 21st wad when it took a toll, we took our car to the auto shop because it was having engine problems and overheating. We got our car back after paying an 1, 735 dollars in repairs. Not even 5 days later the car started making a rattling noise again. I called Cassie (used sales manager) and I told her about the issues and she said it would be taken care of with the price, we just need to bring the car. We towed it to Coles at 1 am on February 6th. We had heard a thing till February 13th. Left multiple voicemails on the 13th and 14th and still no one was responding. On February 15 I was finally able to get ahold of someone named Eric. He said he couldnt honor what Cassie said, we told Eric we were moving on February 19th and this needed to be taken care of before. Here is the thing that upset us the most, they towed our car to Schoolcraft to get worked on and they were suppose to tow it back to Kalamazoo on February 15 so we could get towed to a different mechanic because our car was incapable of driving at all. The person who was suppose to tow our car back, freaking DROVE our Car!! They didnt even make it half a mile down the road before the engine freaking blew! They absolutely blew our engine and left it in a random parking lot, doors unlocked and emergency lights that then it killed our battery! They left our car there for 4 days!! Without offering to tow it all after they caught the engine on fire. My mother had to tow it to a trusted mechanic and inside the engine there were multiple parts from our vechile found inside the engine. We had to pay an additional 6,000 to get our vechile fixed. That doesnt include all of the rental vechiles, all of the mechanics bills. Stay far far away from Coles Nissan it was an absolutely horrible experience and I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

He was very knowledgable with every aspect of the Rogue we were looking at. We took one of the Rogues for a test drive and Erwin walked us through every feature you could think of! I was referred to this dealership by Nissan Corp. The worst dealership experience I have ever had. one has to wonder if my race had anything to do with it. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, and quite frankly nor should anyone of color. From the moment I got there Service Advisor Cody was quite frankly condescending as I explained the issue I was having..explained specifically what was to be tested per my conversation with Nissan Corp and they didn't do any of it. Spoke with the Service Manager Matt, who was equally if not worse than Cody. His quote, "we are not doing anything because Nissan Corp isn't going to do anything" I said at least run the test I asked for, he said no... so I asked for my money back, the request was granted they asked not to bring my vehicle back I stated I would never have been there but for Nissan Corp..while I waited for my refund to be processed, I called Nissan Corp to express my displeasure with the Service and treatment at Cole Nissan, while I was on the call and waiting for my refund the GM joined the fray and he was the worst. He asked me to leave, i told him i was trying to and I was waiting for my refund, our whole exchange was on a recorded line and he was horrible all for the Nissan rep to hear, I would the exchange if I could add an attachment. what a bigot.. read more

NEVER TAKE YOUR NISSAN FOR REPAIRS HERE! These guys are rip off artists! My a/c stopped blowing cold. They claimed I Had a stone caught in my condenser and a major leak in my line. They claimed there was a puddle of dye under the truck. Then they quoted me $800 and no guarantees. I got a second opinion. No condenser stone, no leak at all after a dye test. He fixed it with a simple freon charge. $75 later air works fine. He even said "they lied to you ". STAY AWAY. COLE NISSAN IS FULL OF HACKS AND LYERS!! read more
