One of the busier Colectivo locations in the city, but still great. If you're planning to WFH here, definitely get here on the earlier end! Drink/food wait times will vary based on how busy it is. The waiting area is by the back bathrooms and it can get a little crowded. I'd recommend ordering ahead if you are just grabbing a drink and leaving. I like working from home here, especially in the sunny upstairs spot. There is also a very warm, welcoming area surrounding a fireplace where the vibes are cozy and perfect for reading a good book. I tend to stick to my typical order at Colectivo (iced cold brew oatchata) and 9 times out of 10 here, it tastes great. This was by far the best coffee shop. We tried in Chicago as tourist. The coffee shop atmosphere has a sunroom and a first floor so beautiful and so aesthetically beautiful to just sit there and read books or drink coffee and chat. We tried two different types of coffees. One was almond brittle and another one was a cold brew, both didn't disappoint it was so tasty and lipsmacking good with the right amount of caffeine. I went to Colectivo for the first time in person this morning and it was great! When I walked in, I was immediately blown away by the interior - I loved the coziness and overall vibe of the space. I ordered a Coconut Cream Cold Brew which was delightful + refreshing. I really enjoyed the coconut foam and highly recommend to anyone who typically enjoys cold brews and coconut. To eat, I ordered the Raspberry Sunflower Muffin which was honestly one of the most delicious muffins I've ever had - it was soft on the inside with a delicious crumble on top. I cannot say enough good things about Colectivo Wicker Park and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick coffee, date spot, or space to get some work or reading done. This location is very busy but, we were able to find seating despite people with their laptops and other belongings taking up multiple seats. One woman took up and entire table and four chairs. This seems to be an issue with most coffee shops that I have been to. Not sure how the establishment can fix this without offending these people setting up an office away from home? Sorry for the side note above. My iced coffee was perfect. I wish I could figure out how to make these at home just as good as they do. I was disappointed at first with the size of the burrito being too small but, it was very dense and very filling. Colectivo Coffee is such a cool coffee spot in Wicker Park. It's hard to find a coffeeshop that also does good food, but they nailed both. I wish I had taken more photos, but I was very hungry. I ordered a London fog latte with oatmilk and the salmon avocado toast. The ambiance is such a cool, welcoming cozy environment. It seemed like a lot of people were working or studying. We went on a Friday morning and it was pretty full, but we found a table for two easily. I'd imagine it gets much busier on the weekends. The first Colectivo ive been to - came on a sunday afternoon and wasn't too crowded. There's plenty of free parking around with a short walk so the wicker park location is pretty accessible Service was quick and we were able to get a table right away. I was happy with the layout and aesthetics - there were various sections of the cafe; whether you sat in the back w benches, in the small outdoor facing rooms, in the fireplace area w couches, or upstairs w window seats, each had their own vibe and feel to it, all of which makes for a good study/work session or some light chatting The cold brew and pastries (got the cinnabun) were fine, nothing special - had a good experience overall when coming here to just hang out with a friend but would come back to see how spending a morning and/or afternoon would go if trying to have some productive time read more

Sunday early morning is a great time to go for a quiet space to read, work or just hang. The staff were friendly and offered suggestions. I did not get any food but they have a lot of sandwich options. I love cafe hopping so I was just there to enjoy a coffee and read. This place is always crowded, weekdays, weekends, no off hours. They have a great southwest burrito, it's tasty, and a nice small size for eating on the run. They have great coffee, and a sparkling water on tap, incredible. Definitely good environment for kids, the only downside is that it's always crowded. You have to get there early to get a seat if you're interested in working here, but once you get the seat it's great. Other food options are okay. read more

The tropical flavors weren't too overpowered by the ginger and it wasn't too sweet either, I'd definitely recommend! They have a ton of great drink options and plenty of seating at this location, but it does get very busy and you moght have to wait around despite the 2 floors. It can be worth it if you have a lot of work because they're also open longer than most coffee shops, even on the weekends. The taste was not good at all from the shot itself or the minor figures oat milk they use. The bathrooms were dirty and the WiFi was VERY spotty.
