They carry some zingermans products and their catering is very convenient around the holidays. They carry Christmas trees in the winter and lots of herbs, flowers, etc outside in the warmer months. I *love* their quiches. They have become a holiday staple in our family on Christmas and Thanksgiving morning. Lately I've been coming for postpartum prepared meals because I know their ingredients are decent. Everything is a bit pricey, but I know the stuff is quality and we've had such a good experience with their catering department. That we will be shopping here for a long time.

Only place in town I could find rhubarb the last week of March - Michigan grown! I was surprised but delighted to browse their extensive selection of craft beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages. This is definitely a good place to go if you're looking for something fun to try, or to bring something unique to a dinner party etc. They also have meat, dairy, a lot of ready-mades, and a nice looking salad bar. It is overall more expensive than other grocery stories, but presumably shopping here is supporting a local business and local farmers.

It was probably more of a personality thing, but I just expect sort of a premium experience when I'm paying such high prices. I was really impressed with the guy at the customer service desk that helped me with a product I was looking for. He was able to ask an employee a clarifying question and give me history as to why that item was potentially discontinued and even gave me an estimated date for when it should be coming back. I was very impressed. I got the runaround at Whole Foods asking about this item and I didn't even try target. My kiddo has lots of significant anaphylactic allergies so we end up buying lots of expensive specialty items, and take the occasional trip to specialty grocery stores like Arbor Farms. I love the concept of shopping for Local Michigan items, but with a big family, this is not always in the budget. I will definitely be back with the level of service that I received from the Customer Service guy. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately I cleaned the table before taking pictures. But here are some. The tea is good, though, and the baristas are kind and attentive. Hours after being there, I'm still disgusted. Yuck!

I visited this…read moresmall but mighty market for the first time in March, and I was impressed by the variety of vendors and products. The indoor market is also at Pittsfield Township Hall, but the indoor market is set up inside, in Morris Hall. There was a chef demonstration giving away samples (apple pancakes and kale/blueberry smoothies) in the lobby when I entered. In the actual market, there were about a dozen vendors offering fresh produce and prepared goods. Especially since it was early March, I was impressed with the variety of fresh fruits and veggies - including beets, carrots, swiss chard, garlic, spinach, apples, onions, frozen blueberries. Eggs, honey, cupcakes, kettle corn, bread, and pie were also available. There was even a vendor selling fresh pasta. Two vendors also sold homemade products - cutting boards and organic lotion and bath bombs, etc. Many offered yummy samples- including cheese and kettle corn. In addition to the vendors, there was a craft table and an entertainer making balloon animals. A number of kids were singing with a guitarist as well. The market felt lively and active, but not overcrowded, and it was not difficult to shop even with all this happening. I can't wait to come back for the outdoor markets!

One or two of the vendors didn't take cards, but the rest of them did. I don't carry cash, so I couldn't buy anything from the ones who didn't accept cards. I would recommend they get SquareSpace and set a minimum amount for people to be able to charge. I hope to come back to this market again!

Usually I'm running around Saturday mornings so it's nice to be able to hit a farmer's market later in the day and during the week. They have a nice mix of different produce as well as prepared products. It's great to get Corridor Sausage in my own backyard, love Mindo chocolate from Dexter and I'm thrilled to see them there every week. If I'm feeling like a snack Pilar's Tamales or Good Times Kettle Corn really hit the spot. The Brinary, Seedling (who I used to buy from when I lived in Chicago in their markets), and the Zingerman's creamery are all favorites. Not to mention all the beautiful fresh fruits and veggies. YES. Also--the parking lot rules. If it's too hot to bike or walk it's really nice to roll up and easily find a parking spot without having to pay a meter. It shouldn't matter but it totally does. The Saturday and Wednesday markets in Kerrytown are awesome but I for a few small items I love coming here. Popping in for a tasty eat at the Roadhouse doesn't hurt either! ;)

What a find! This market is the perfect compliment to the Ann Arbor Farmers' Market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Instead, it's in the late afternoon / early evening, which is a nice change, and has an easy location good for parking and on the west side of town. The market hosts about 20 local Michigan vendors, and Zingerman's is usually always outside sampling some kind of yummy goodness. There's a nice selection of fruits, veggies and flowers. I usually hit up this market every Thursday on my way home from work and almost never leave empty-handed. Rain or shine, the market is there.
