Such a lovely upgrade! Great park! Only downfall I can think of is there's no restroom.

Most importantly, tons of bathrooms. Usually, this place is packed with all sorts of parties, jumpy houses, overly-sugared children, and loud music. But if it's a nice cold and windy day like today, you won't need to send out anyone at 8am to hold a good spot. But generally, if you need a relatively flat place to air out children so they can tire themselves out and don't mind a little cacophony, this is your place.

We've got the Filipino spread -- grilled chicken, fresh oysters, pansit, dinuguan (that chocolate meat, ain't really chocolate!!!), grilled tilapia, etc. Filipino sweet delicacies like palitaw, biko, halo-halo....should I go on? 2. Funhouse 3. Pinatas for the kids AND adults 4. A clown. (apparently drunk Filipinos aren't entertaining enough!) 5. Snow cone machine. Uh-huh. 6. Twin boys celebrating their 1st bday. There's an aquatic center nearby and a sandy patch to play beach volleyball on. You can reserve a spot at the park for $40 and you have it from 10am-10pm. (the gazebo area costs more) Book at least 2 months in advance. Seriously. Who knew space is prime here at SR? Our spot was next to the tennis courts and a bunch of homeless people snoozin under the tree, and the trek to the bathroom was about a mile away, but hey our party was hotter than theirs.

Ive had a family membership here for almost 10yrs. My wife has been way more consistent thanks to…read morethe childcare program that they have. It's available daily for up to two hours per child. Theres one downstairs for younger children and one upstairs for older kids. They also have parents night out events that let you drop your kids off for pizza and movies. They have lots of options to choose between for all types of fitness levels and interests. They have a great weight room area and equally great machine area, they have yoga rooms, stationary bike room, a rock climbing wall and much more. The recreational pool is heated, lap pool isn't and the kiddie pool isn't either but it's a great cold plunge in the winter. I usually hit that then the sauna before my workouts. They have a basketball court inside and pickle ball courts outside in the back which always has action on them. Theres so much more they offer but I still have not had the chance to try it all out. Their juice/ snack bar is amazing. The soups and wraps are fire!! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have kids. The staff is great and the place is clean. Can't think of anything negative about this place to be honest.

I was definitely able to complete my workout, I just had to compromise a bit on some of the weights because a lot were being used. I wouldn't say it's run down, but it doesn't feel like a new, fresh gym. It feels really bright inside and gives kind of a hospital cafeteria vibe in the locker rooms. I know that doesn't really make sense, but it's what I thought about when I was in there. , so I guess it makes sense to me. The staff was helpful and friendly, everything seemed to be in good, working order, and it was overall a fine gym. Definitely nicer than the 24 hour fitness in my hometown, but nowhere near as nice as, say... Equinox. It's a "get her done" type of gym, and, I don't know about you, but I am always excited to be DONE with a workout. I did think it was funny that they were selling GIANT cookies in the cafe in the club. Seems counterintuitive to being fit and healthy, but whatever. Don't get me wrong, I definitely LOVE a good, giant cookie, I just think they should have healthier options. And maybe they do, but I was blinded by the giant cookie and kept walking right. on. by.
