Extremely difficult to work with. The staff is unfriendly and treats customers like an inconvenience. The salesperson I worked with was not knowledgeable. Earlier this year, I brought in a setting and asked if they could put a larger stone in it. I specifically stated the carat size I wanted, and I was told they could make it work. A few months later, I returned with my new diamond--only to be told they couldn't do it and that the only option was a cathedral setting. I'm not a fan of cathedral settings, but since I was told that was my only choice, I reluctantly agreed. The custom ring I received was gaudy and unattractive. I picked it up, paid for it, and immediately took it to another jeweler to be redone. That's when I learned I actually could have used other settings besides a cathedral--something this store either didn't know or didn't bother to tell me. Now I'm out several thousand dollars--between the original setting I purchased and the custom setting I didn't want--and left with a terrible experience. I won't be returning, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Customer service is top notch here. I was warmly greeted immediately after walking into the store. I only needed a watch battery replacement (very reasonably priced). A very nice employee told me it would be a few moments and to have a seat. There is a comfy, small waiting area in the store that also has a tempting bowl of candy on a nearby table. The store was very busy. Some customers were buying jewelry and some were getting repairs done. It's nice to know there is a jewelry shop that still offers repairs on items not purchased there. Even though the store was busy, employees were delivering expert customer service. My watch battery was replaced in mere minutes. I went to visit a friend in Saginaw and while I was there decided to take my ring here to get a crack soldered and to replate it. It's located in a strip mall on Main Street, behind the Pizza Hut. To reinforce what the other reviewers stated: Yeah, initially you will get ignored. I went up to the door and was buzzed in only to have no one acknowledge me for a good 5- 10 minutes (when I checked in is when the timer started). No "We'll be right with you" or eye contact, nothing. There were about three employees helping three customers, so it was only marginally busy. They kept walking right past me like I was invisible. Acknowledgment is not too much to ask for when I entrust someone with my jewelry, but I digress. I was starting to get pretty irritated to the point of leaving when I finally got service. The person who helped me was really polite and friendly and *almost* made up for the initial poor service. What's more, they were able to perform the services I requested the same day! Four hours later, I was able to pick up my beautiful, shining ring, patched up like new. It cost $54. Had someone just acknowledged my presence or indicated that I was going to eventually get service, I would give them five stars. But alas, that did not happen and since other reviewers have complained about the same, I will give them three for the prompt labor. read more

We bought my fiancées wedding ring here and they had the exact Tungsten ring he wanted - and in a size 13. Most places don't keep large sizes like that in stock, so that was an awesome find. We had been to at least 7 jewelry stores that day looking and everyone told us we would have to order it. Went to Collections and not only did they have his big size but they had the exact design he wanted.
