I made my way to the back of the store before anyone acknowledged my presence. A woman finally asked if I was looking for watches. I replied that I was, and she pointed out the 4 to 5 remaining men's watches. One of the watches really caught my eye, so I pulled out my phone to look up its specifications. At that moment, she snapped at me, saying, "NO PICTURES!" Her tone was loud and caught me off guard, making me feel embarrassed. I quickly put my phone away, but she continued to lecture me about the reasons for the policy. She said something along the lines of, "If you were allowed to take pictures, we would just post these online." At that point, I was both annoyed and embarrassed, so I decided to put away my credit card and leave. It's no surprise that this place is going out of business.

After wandering the mall for a few minutes and getting quotes for watch battery replacements, I decided to search Yelp and found this gem. The store owner, Chris, was so knowledgeable and welcoming when I called him. He gave me clear directions on how to find his store and that they could easily replace the batteries on 2 watches that we needed fixed. His prices were significantly cheaper than anyone else that quoted me, and the batteries on 2 watches were replaced in 20 minutes (at most). In addition, Chris was so generous and spent extra care to make sure that we were satisfied with the service (even taking an extra few minutes to deep clean our watches, free of charge!). Kevin, the owner, took a significant amount of time walking me through the watch in detail--its age, condition, wear patterns, polishing history, bracelet stretch, and overall authenticity--without ever making me feel rushed or talked down to. What really stood out was the honesty. He had no incentive to tell me I did well on the purchase, yet he confirmed that I paid a solid price and explained, why. He also clearly explained what wear was normal, what was cosmetic, and what would (or wouldn't) be worth correcting. No upselling, no scare tactics, no pressure to trade up. Kevin went further and educated me on differences between older and newer Rolex models, case profiles, movements, sizes, and pricing tiers--especially when comparing dress models versus sports models. I decided not to take it back because I just don't feel comfortable letting them have it again. I'm not certain their techs are Rolex certified. Now it's on the way to Rolex in Florida. If you have a Rolex you may want to think twice about letting them service the watch.

I am someone who is well above the average when it comes to the knowledge of Rolex, the history of Rolex and the movements of Rolex when I walked in, I was greeted by some heavyset man with thick glasses, and he came on very strong and somewhat passive aggressive. He told me there was no possible way that I could ever be allocated to watch since I do not live locally I know this to not be true because of my history with Rolex in different cities due to being a pilot, he began to show me some other watches, and he seemed very pushy about me purchasing a Breitling, and I was just turned off by his overall energy and demeanor. It wasn't that he was outright rude, but he just came off very strong and pushy. Definitely not somebody that I want to do business with which is why I didn't even buy a watch while I was there. I ended up speaking to the manager and telling her about my experience before I knew she was actually the manager, and she was extremely nice and accommodating and wanted to make it right. But to be told just because I live out of town, there's no way that I could be placed on a list of potentially be allocated to watch, even though I have a buying history was the first time in my life that I've ever heard that and I've been into a dozen Rolex stores throughout my lifetime. Other than that experience, the store looked very pretty and very nice and the other staff seem to be very friendly.
