Being totally new to cannabis, this was a nice facility for my friends and I to go to. The employees were professional and answered all our questions about all the products. We took our sweet time looking at everything on display, and the guy who helped us was completely patient. I've had really good experiences coming here, staff is knowledgeable and it's always a really inviting place to be- for those of you new to the game. BUYER BEWARE!!! I was excited to see an email ad for my favorite gummies - Kahna. The ad said buy 2, get one for $1 (see photo below). I tried ordering the Kahna Nano gummies online for pickup at their Santa Ana location, however, the website was having problems, so I called the store and they said to come by and they would take care of me. When I arrived at the store to pick up my gummies, I assumed I would buy 4 packs of Kahna Nano gummies and get two more for a buck each. What I was told at the pickup counter was that the "Nano" brand were not eligible for the two $1 packs, but instead there were different Kahna gummies (non-Nano) that I would have to live with. In other words, buy 4 Kahna Nano and get 2 Kahna non-Nano for a buck each. That would be all fine and dandy if People's had made that clear in their ad, but as I showed the manager at People's, it nowhere said that the two $1 gummies could not be the Nano brand. The manager even agreed with me that this could appear as deceptive, but that's just the way the promo was structured. She said she'd pass my comments on to her management. I don't know if she really will or if this was just lip service. It wouldn't be a big deal, but it's a 40 minute drive each way for me to get to the dispensary and then to find out the deal is basically a bait and switch is really disappointing. Ive been coming here for 5-6 years about once or twice a month and will never come back. Yesterday I stopped by after a 90 minute commute home from LAX excited to unwind. My wife had my debit card and most of my cash because of an emergency the prior week. I tried to buy something priced at $40.34 with $40 bucks. It's a 20 minute commute each way from my home and I didn't want to come back with $0.34. Mind you I usually round up to the nearest $20 in the tip jar, usually spend around $120 and have spent thousands here over the years. They don't even know that cannabis derived terpines and live resin pods are different. I checked out on the computer with a cannabis derived terpines pod and they give me a live resin pod. I tell the guy that's not what I bought and he said yes it is and that stiizy doesn't make three different levels of pods.
