Fast, efficient, and thoughtful. I chose them even though they might have been slightly pricier than others because they had a separate truck for donation and clearing out a 2-story 2000+ sq foot house where my family had basically kept everything for decades was a tough for us. The team set aside items they thought we missed but would want to keep (jewelry, coins, memorabilia that might be sentimental). We also didn't want to just trash everything and the team was able to separate what they were able to donate and what should go to the landfill. I had a really bad experience with them - they did not show up at agreed upon date and time. I received no updates and had to actively call and text multiple times before I got a call back. However I was greatly impressed by the way Robert took ownership of the situation and worked with me to get my furniture moved the following day. He was very apologetic, sincere and wanted to rectify the mistake. I know it's not easy dealing with an upset client but he showed a lot of maturity and integrity. I requested a quote from this company and they were actually cheaper than all the other quotes I received. Robert came with another gentleman at 7am and they were ready to work. After a good in town moving experience in July 2018, we hired Robert & his moving team to move my son's furniture from San Ramon to a storage unit in Lodi. He kept me well informed about when the moving truck would arrive. His team of 4 movers, including Robert, quickly & carefully took everything out of my son's apartment which was on a third floor. They had the trailer loaded up in a little over 1 hour's time. Then they drove to the storage unit in Lodi and unloaded the trailer. The time to unload was less than 40 minutes. I recently did a big move from SF to oakland, which included combining 2 apartments into 1. What's more, the apartment I moved into was up four flights of stairs, with a tiny elevator, meaning most of the furniture had to be moved via stairs 4 flights up. Robert and his team were excellent. They helped me move last year and did a great job. My grandma needed to move recently so I had to call up Robert because he and his guys are the best. I've had some experiences in the past with other movers who don't seem to care, throw my boxes around, break items, and do a rushed job. I can't say enough great things about these guys. Robert, Michael and Jay showed up on time and got right to work. Within an hour they had everything we needed moved loaded on the truck and within the next hour had it over to the new house and set up. We had a monster of a fridge that was fairly new and expensive, we didn't want to chance moving it ourselves. The guys took real care in moving it and had constant communication with each other to make sure that it didn't become damaged in the move. Strongly advise not to use this company. Made all the arrangements with Travis. They were a no show on the day of the move of Monday, 6/25. When I called to find out what happened I initially wasn't able to get a hold of Travis. I also wasn't able to get a hold of anyone at office number. When Travis finally answered he acted like he didn't know who I was. He basically said he had forgotten to write my move on the calendar and had booked another move. I proceeded to try to explain how unprofessional that was which he responded to by hanging up on me. I will also be reporting them to the BBB. I was lucky that Top Notch moving service out of Lodi saved the day and was able to move me later that day. I hired Robert and his very qualified crew to move me on January 14, 2023. This happened to be on a day that we were experiencing torrential rain and flooded streets in Lodi. Robert was thoughtful enough to move my scheduled time back a couple of hours until there was a break in the rain so that my furniture would not get soaked. Robert and his crew were obviously very experienced. They were also professional, extremely careful with all of my belongings, as well as friendly and approachable. I was moving into a brand new townhouse and they went the extra mile to prevent any damage to my door casings and walls. He put moving pads around my door casings and on the half wall at the bottom of the stairs. Because of this attention to detail, I have not even one ding or mark one my walls. They disassembled both of my beds and then reassembled them at my new place. In addition to moving my furniture and household items, they also hauled away everything that I no longer wanted or needed. I have absolutely no complaints. They were amazing!!
