I went into the store when it wasn't busy at all and they took 20 minutes to attend me. It wasnt until I had to say if someone could help me they did. Workers saw me waiting and didn't have the decency to try to help. The place is a mess and they don't care about their customers. We have been coming here for years! From scrubs to uniforms to embroidery, you can definitely find what you need. In the most recent years I have been bringing my son's school uniform shirts to get the school logo embroidery. The cost for that is $5 as of August 2021. They also sell shirts with my son's school logo for $15. I also used to work for the Glendale Elementary School District and used to bring my shirts here to get the logo embroidery. If you're ever in the need of embroidery or uniform I highly recommend this place! They also have a quick turnaround usually 24-48 hours and the employees are super friendly and helpful! read more

The question I just know is right on the top of your mind is where does Scott get those snazzy charcoal uniform clothes he wears every day. Well, for about the past 15 years it has been at Collette's. I started buying from them shortly after they opened this location. Prior to that I used another place a little further away that stressed work uniforms rather than medical/school uniforms in their advertising. That place went under so the next time I needed some shirts I tried Collete's and have been going ever since. This is a family run place, almost everybody working there is related or long term friends in some way. It is not uncommon to have kids running around. In the same building is a machine shop and a Realtor that are also in the family. They have added 3 other locations in the valley but this is still the main one. They handle just about any kind of uniform (medical, school, trades) you can think of. The do embroidery and alterations on site. I didn't ask but I bet they can even do bowling shirts. Over the years they have amassed a wide array of vendors. They don't take checks but do take cash and credit cards. Even though they have a ton of inventory most of their sales are special order and subject to the whims of their vendors. Because I was dumb enough to order a new set of shorts when the rest of he country hadn't warmed up yet it took 3-1/2 weeks. Expect to pay at the time of order. Surprisingly heavy duty work clothes are not that expensive and some of the polo shirts, slacks and stuff doesn't have that industrial look to it. Look this is a family owned business is it as nice inside as Scrubs n Beyond no. But who cares? They offer things those chain stores do not like hemming ur pants for free if ur short like me and give better coupons. I got 4 items for almost the same as 2 things at scrubs n beyond. I support local and they do uniforms for Catholic schools-plus in my book. Their selection could be better but they do offer to order anything they dont have on hand. read more

The selection was picked through and the sales lady (who refused to tell me her name) was abrupt and unfriendly. After calling the Scottsdale store looking for light blue polo shirts in women's sizes I was told the Glendale location had "lots." After a 40 minute drive, I get there and there's literally only ONE and in a size that was not what I needed. All others were kids or men's sizes. Such a waste of time. Poor customer service. We also needed khaki pants and bought various sizes since it was for a photo shoot. I asked if I could return the ones we didn't need to the Scottsdale store. I was told yes. Then a few days later when I went to return them, they told me I had to do the drive to Glendale to return them. It is not the customer's job to transfer inventory between stores for a business. Was looking for simple, grey, cargo shorts - not one pair in the building. They weren't out, they don't carry them. Every bad customer service review in Yelp is right. I needed scrubs for nursing school. Collettes sells the Maricopa scrubs and they have a big selection. They have a lot more options than Apperal pro. If they don't have something you want, they can order it for you, but keep it mind it takes a couple weeks. Linda was amazing. She was very helpful. Thank you Linda for everything! read more

Unfortunately, my husband and I had a terrible experience at this uniform place. My husband had ordered a couple of DOC uniforms from this place. Since they did not have the shirt he needed in store, they were special ordered. My husband, the following week, received a voicemail stating that the shirts were in and ready to be picked up. Wonderful, or so we thought. Once we arrived, the floor manager looked for the order but could not find it anywhere since the store was very unorganized. He said "I must have not called because the shirts are not here" . Since the young man questioned our sincerity, my husband replayed to voicemail. After, I did inform him that is was very troubling to hear they had " accidentally called" and how we had to drive a distance to pick up the order. I asked him if there was anything we could do and he said we would have to pick them up whenever they called again and drive 15 miles again. I was very upset, He did give me his manger's name and said " you can call her and give me a bad review, I don't care". I did end up calling to ask for the manger but she was not in. I ended up leaving a message with an associate on a Friday. She did not reach me until the following Wednesday. Once I finally got in touch with the manger and informed her about the situation and the customer service we experienced, she made excuses for the young man. She preceded to say that he told her that he was not rude! Once again questioning my sincerity!!! I demanded a refund for the shirts but I did not receive one since they were already customized. After almost a full month later from the original order, we should be receiving the uniforms by mail. I do not recommend this place at all!!! If you are willing to withstand the terrible customer service, I would advice you not pay them until you have the item in front of you. When I walked in I was greeted by a very nice lady and she directed me to where I could find my items. The selection was nice! It was a little on the smaller size since they are downsizing, but she went to the back and found some other shorts for me! I was looking for a uniform style skirt. It had to be special ordered and the size chart was unfamiliar to me, so the clerk took my measurements and ordered the skirt. It was MILES too big. Two other clerks took my measurements next and another skirt was ordered. I was told the skirts would arrive by the end of the week. They didn't. I called the next week. Still no skirts. Finally I was told that the skirts hadn't been ordered yet; the ordering clerk had been out of town. When the skirts arrived, they were still too big! The mother of the clerk took my measurements and finally (over a month later) I had a skirt that fit. I wrote a letter to the owner (Heidi) and expressed my dissatisfaction with Collette's customer service - and honesty - but haven't received a reply. When I asked if the store would adjust the price of a third skirt - the same clerk's mother came out from the back of the shop and informed me that the shop had already been inconvenienced by having to return 3 non-fitting skirts and that they anticipated additional expense in shipping the returns back...so, NO, they were not going to be inconvenienced by me any further. I would not recommend Collette's for their customer service, honesty, or speed of service. read more
