My wife was in a collision and my insurance recommended this location. I spoke with the adjuster and made my decision to leave the vehicle there. I must say from start to finish this facility was and is an A+. Our 2018 Chevrolet Traverse looks perfect. I had front end damage and needed many parts. I opened the hood and checked for anything that needed attention and it was amazing! The team in the office and the guys in the shop were outstanding. Sometimes an accident can be a bad thing, but can introduce you to good people. I'm glad I trusted this facility with the repairs. I had an amazing experience with Eckles Auto Body Shop. The owner, Carlos, took care of me from the moment I stepped into his office. I know very little about cars and the process after an accident but he guided me and made sure everything was ok. He is loud, funny, sarcastic and to the point, but you can tell his employees respect him and that he is a very successful business man. I was also able to rent a car at Hertz which is located in the same building. I drop off my car and was given a vehicle right away. The same convenience when my car was ready for pick up. My car has never looked better and I have had others tell me the same. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. They are very busy but they are well staffed with a fun group of people. I have taken 3 cars to Eckles over a 10 year time span. Normally great customer service and the auto repairs are very well done. This last experience was one that ensured I would never return to Eckles. My Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen from my vehicle. When I brought it to their attention I was told "I don't know what to tell you" when I asked about replacing my sunglasses, Jose said "I'll check with Carlos" and never called me back. Good work, unfortunately no integrity. Response to message below: Had I realized I left them there, I would have gotten them. A customer shouldn't have to worry about their personal items being stolen from an auto body shop I'm leaving my vehicle with and trusting their staff is mature enough not to steal anything left inside. Found Eckles through my insurance carrier as an authorized repair shop, conveniently their also located down the street from my job. Decided to go with them for repairs on my new Infiniti Q50 and so far the staff has been very helpful and answered all my questions throughout, they even managed to help me as soon as my vehicle arrived at the yard while still not in their system. This is the second time in 10 years that I've come to Eckles Auto Body. They've been a part of the community for years. I worked with Jose, the manager on gathering the information for my repairs. He's kind of cocky but he knows cars. I dropped my vehicle off and they worked with the insurance adjuster. No insurance hassles for me. Within a week or so, my SUV was ready. New door and mirror that you could not tell it wasn't the original. We had to have the door alignment adjusted just a bit and it only took a few days more. My car was delivered clean and shiny. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Tip; ask very specific questions if you are dealing with Jose. If he says repaint, ask if it's with colored paint? They blended the entire side of the vehicle with a clear gloss. I assumed repaint meant new colored paint. Never assume anything! read more

Incident: October 10th, 2019 Reason for Visit: Car estimate A man by the name of (BEWARE) JOSE SOSA (BEWARE) approached me to assist me on my car estimate request for my 2019 Porsche Macan. He asked if this was my car, and I said "Yes" he asked if I had purchased or leased and I said. "purchased" he stated "THATS EVEN WORSE, YOU DONT PURCHASE THESE CARS" which I started to feel VERY uncomfortable with the particular questions he was asking. I told him the situation, why I needed an estimate (due to my car being scratched) he checked my car and said "you know, This type of car, people like you and me don't get or or drive" and I said, really, what type of car do people, you and I drive and WHY (JOSE SOSA, said: we drive Toyota's and Honda Accords' JOSE SOSA, was coming more form a prejudice perspective. I said, really, and i asked why, you don't like my car, and he said i make $150,000 year, people like you and I don't get these cars, bad cars, there very expensive, can you afford it!?!? " He asked me" , and i said really' wow, that's great. I mentioned, well' i own my own business... he kept pressing on the fact and was EXTREMELY DISGUSTING DISRESPECTFUL' and PREJUDICE. Until this day, it's still bothering me. In which, I took the initiative to speak to the owner, and he started with "oh you bought a Porsche" which was very rude of him as well! I stated, I felt very disrespected by his worker, and was very prejudice, and discrimination was in play. At this point, i will be bringing my attorneys to this matter. He treated me wrongful, due to the fact because i am a women, and possibly because i looked younger than they expected! Even the owner was surprised' i felt I had to express my age in order for "the professionals" to understand what true character is! I left with my estimate, of supposedly of $600 to fix a 2019 Macan which was not accurate. In which will be added to my case. Excellent customer service! Took in my Flex for a new bumper after an incident on the freewy. I made an appointment and they took me right away even called the car rental place to pick me up. They called me with status and when it was ready. When I got it back it looked like new. They even delivered my vehicle because I could not make it before they closed. Thank you for amazing service! Anytime I had to take my cars in for work my cars always come out looking better then before the accident. They care about their customers and don't let themselves get pushed around by insurance companies, that don't always want to pay for certain damages. Their customer service is also outstanding. They make the car rental process beyond easy. They are friendly and help you every step of the way. Save the trouble and effort. This place has Poor Customer Service, Execution, Quality, and Attitude. This week was the third time I had to take my car back to Eckles Auto Body to fix paint adhering and peeling issues over a 6+ month period. My car had been rear-ended and needed work/replacement on the rear bumper and trunk lid. Eckles fixed the problems and I was happy with the job that they had done. A couple months later, the paint started bubbling and then cracked, releasing liquid. I called Jose and Carlos from Eckles and explained what was happening to the recently painted areas and the response I got was that they had never heard of anything like that happening before. I found this to be rather odd as they are in the auto body industry and deal with paint on a daily basis. Needless to say after numerous phone calls they told me to bring it in so they could re-paint the trunk lid of the car again. When they called me to tell me that my car was ready to be picked up, I showed up and the paint job looked nice. They even replaced one of the reverse taillights that was not affected by the accident, but had not matched the new one that was installed as it was so old and had faded. I greatly appreciated the gesture and thanked them for the work they had done. As I got in my car and drove off, I noticed from my rear view mirror that the workers had not re-installed all the backseat interior pieces they had removed. I drove back to Eckles and let them know that the car was not put back the way I dropped it off and questioned why they would not have performed all checks that the job is truly complete before calling a customer to come pick up their car. They quickly re-installed the backseat interior pieces and I was on my way. Months later I noticed that again the rear area (trunk lid) of the car was having paint issues. This time the paint was stretching and beginning to tear. I immediately called Eckles Auto Body back to explain the issue and they notified me that they had multiple other cars that they were dealing with the same paint issue and to call them back the next week to schedule an appointment. I called back the next week and was told to call back in another week as they did not have any painters working. When I called back again, they told me to bring my car in on Monday and I did. I expressed that I did not want to have to come back again for paint issues at it was eating up my time and was an inconvenience. They too expressed that they were getting tired of having to deal with the issues. I came back today and again the paint job looked good. This time I did a thorough check to make sure that they were returning my car back in an acceptable manner. I lifted the trunk lid and found again that there were issues with quality assurance and quality control. See the picture of the inside of my trunk lid. They painted this area and closed the trunk, in turn messing up the paint and getting it on my rear window. I told them that this was unacceptable to release a product like this to the customer and they got very angry and told me how I was ungrateful even after they "touched-up" other areas on my car to make me happy. I asked why they would be angry at me and not themselves for again not checking the car over before thinking a job is complete and calling a customer over to pick it up. Carlos then slammed my trunk lid and told me to have a nice day in an aggressive manner. He said it about 3 times total and told me good bye. I thought this was very unprofessional and left. I hope this will be the last time I will ever have to deal with Eckles Auto Body again and that the new paint job they did will not have any peeling or adhesion issues. I don't think I can deal with having to have my car re-painted for the 4th time... Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place. They are very unprofessional and put out a bad product. read more

My mistake was going alone. As a female I should have hired the homeless man on the corner or my neighbor to come with me to avoid the hassles of being jerked around. My experience was tainted from the beginning. The representative pretended to be concerned and thoughtful when it came to my safety, the repair of my vehicle, and customer service. I asked him for an out of pocket estimate to which he said $2,933 but when the car insurance got involved he gave them a $2,300 estimate (thought it worked the other way around). I went ahead and let the insurance take care of it but then stupidly asked, "Since I'm getting $2,300 worth of work done already, how much would it cost to repair the back bumper which also had some damage?" He quoted me $680 to repair the damage/paint (which might last 5 years he says), $700 for an aftermarket part and $800 for an original factory part. I nearly cried when I heard $800! Not being made of money and financing my own way through school I told him I couldn't afford it. The representative said that since he was working hard for word of mouth referrals/customer service he would talk to the owner about taking a loss on this repair. He then calls to tell me he worked hard for me, did me a favor, and convinced the owner to take a loss of $200. How kind (as I smile and grit my teeth); thanks for doing your job and over quoting me again. That same bumper repair was quoted as either a nice buff ($50) or $400 to patch it up at another body shop. Then, as my story continues. They switched my representative (without telling me) but still managed to order and install the wrong part, painted, and called me to pick up the car. When the insurance company inquired about the unauthorized part, Eckles called me and told me to tame my insurance company-Um you put on the wrong part. Eckles then told me I should just take the car because the part doesn't look so bad. Again, you put on the wrong part. They eventually replaced the part-per insurance authorization. But as they fixed one of their mistakes they scratched the other side of the car which they tried to blame on me. They only finally admitted their negligence when I had them pull up the photos they initially took. Ugh, I'm so over this place and this review. I wonder where I'll go to get my next auto body repair (clue: Not ECKLES). read more

I used Eckles in the past because my insurance company sent me there for an appraisal. The work on my first visit was just okay. I had another person hit me. I called and spoke to the service writer for 21st century insurance. "What a complete jerk" I will never, ever step foot in this establishment again because of him. No one wants to be in an auto accident, but when it happened to me, I had my SUV towed to Eckles before the holidays. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was my very 1st auto accident. But owner Carlos reassured me that my car would be in good hands, with his company making sure to follow through, which had helped to ease my anxiety, especially during the hectic holiday season. I got into a car accident and felt like I wasn't being taken care off by my insurance company or anyone else who was suppose to be helping me. I chose my car get taken to Eckles since it's so close to my house, and I was helped immediately. Alan who was there for me during those whole process, was extremely helpful. I was lost and stressed out, it was my first accident and I didn't know what to do. Recently had some work done on my car I thought the estimate was a little high nevertheless had them do the work they took around three weeks for a minor fix, and my car was not ready when promised. After I picked up my car everything seemed to be ok and then my car started making some noise and my check engine light came on. Customer check your cars condition before having minor work done. I began to tell the lady why i was there & she proceeded to interrupt me. I was told by my insurance that the estimate would take about 45 min but it took all of 15 min. I definitely do not get a friendly feeling from this place. Doesn't seem like they care about the customer or their experience. I wasn't very content with it only because there's only a tiny paint that didn't come out smoothly, I rubbed it and the paint came out. So I had to go back for them to do the painting again. Let me start by saying I have Infinity Insurance and I first took my car to another preferred shop for an estimate back in December after my car was hit by flying debris from an accident right in front of me. I will not name names, but the other shop made me feel terrible. I had a ladder come right at my windshield (still had a piece of wood between the frame and windshield,) and the guys at the other place told me the damage to my windshield was "rock chips" and didn't put it on my estimate. So they basically called me a liar. Thank GOD I did some research and found Eckles. From the initial phone call to yesterday when I picked up my car, Jose was nothing but straight up honest with me and let me know all damages would be fixed. I had exposed metal along the passenger side of my car (again from being hit by flying debris, more specifically, power tools,) and my car has never looked better. They did a fantastic job on all of the repairs. The paint blends nicely with the rest of the car and guess what...I got a new windshield. Eckles even installed a new antenna (since mine was severely bent from the accident,) that the other shop hadn't even put in the estimate. I highly recommend Eckles and if I ever need body work done for any reason, I will make the drive to Whittier just so I know I won't be taken advantage of. read more
