BBQ here was amazing…read more Tried a few things, the Brisket, ribs, corn bread, mac and cheese, brisket sandwich and also the banana pudding. Brisket was some of the best I have had in California, top 3 for sure including the top spots in the LA area. Really incredible. Ribs were very good. Brisket sandwich on a martins bun, good toppings, all around an awesome sandwich. Cornbread had good flavor, good strong corn taste, a bit of a heavier / more dense style, but overall quite good. Awesome honey butter on the side. Mac and cheese was good but definitely a heavier style, very creamy, dense, mixed well with some brisket. Banana pudding was top tier. Portions are very generous for the price. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were friendly. Parking on the street nearby was easy and they also have some spots in front. This was during the week so on the weekend I imagine it could be different. They also have smoked oxtails which I don't remember having before so will need to try that next time. Will definitely be back.

Whatever I write in this review will not fully encapsulate the jaw-dropping flavor this place has…read more The pulled pork sando was so filling in and of itself but with those sides?? You'll walk away with a full stomach and some leftovers for dinner. The baked beans were the showstopper for me. Please do not pass those up whenever you come by. The cornbread was dense (in a good way) and super moist. The brisket was tender and the flavor on that pork rib--my God. We came about 20 minutes after they opened. The service was amazing, everyone was so nice. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean. Seriously, whatever you choose, you won't go wrong. 1000/10. Already looking forward to my next visit.

The five of us ventured out to find Mitote Food Park. We had heard it had moved from its original…read morespot but it was still located on Sebastopol Road. It is easy to find and they have a parking lot which was convenient. As we entered the area we could see many food trucks parked near each other, sort of in a circle. There is also a large canopy over the entire middle with lots of picnic tables and additional seating under patio umbrellas. Music was playing but we found only three trucks open and serving lunch on this Wed. I saw a churro truck but sadly it was closed too. We visited all three trucks to check out their menus and I decided to order a quesadilla at Lucha Sabina. Some people near us were enjoying something called a Tlayuda from this same truck and it looked amazing! I will have to give that a try next time with my husband because it is big enough to serve two. I had heard that the mushroom tacos were delicious so I asked if they could make a mushroom quesadilla and she said yes. She mentioned avocado would make it extra tasty so of course I added it. I'm so glad she offered that up because it was a key ingredient in my yummy quesadilla. It was grilled perfectly and I was all smiles from the first bite. This place was a hit with all my buddies too. We liked that they gave us each a beeper so we could sit down and chat until our food was ready. My friends all enjoyed their selections but none of us tried anything exotic, just tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. People working were very personable and helpful. We'll have to come back during dinner hour as I'm sure there will be more food trucks warming up their grills to satisfy everyone's cravings.
