Posting an update as I have had a membership to Colonial Pest for the past 6 years or so: Our technician Irvin has always shown complete professionalism from day 1 years ago. He notifies me well ahead of time before arriving and always checks to make sure we are satisfied with service or if we have any new issues. I always look forward to when Irvin is my technician and would recommend him to any person who needs service at their residence or place of business! Also, if I ever have any pest issues in between appointments, the owner Victor is very quick to send out a technician to address the problem free of charge. Very unresponsive and unreliable. First, they don't accept appointment though Yelp. I scheduled an appointment by clicking that "schedule" button they sent me in their Yelp message, they did not show up. I contacted again, they told me they don't use that because Yelp charge a fee. Second, they charged $75 for estimation, then didn't give me a receipt, didn't contact me again, and didn't provide a follow-up treatment plan. To be fair, the technician they sent was a nice guy who went into my attic and did some inspections for a short time. But charging $75 for that with no follow-up feels like a scam because now I have to hire someone else to do the job. As a summary, this company is poorly managed, unresponsive, terrible communication, and unreliable. read more

Especially from the girl answering the calls Alma! I've called twice bout schedule changing & both times she was friendly, polite & understanding & was able to fit in a time I can get. And even offered good advice on a issue I had with insects. I got tired of seeing new spider webs and spiders in every crevice around my front porch entry way to the house. I kept spraying bug spray but they still came back. Finally decided to kill off my collection of 1000s of spiders, bugs, tigers, and bears around outside of my house and sign up for bi monthly treatment. I haven't seen a spider since treatment. I have been using Colonial Pest control for several year now and we have never had any issues with spiders or bugs in our house. We started a quarterly service one summer when crickets built a nest under our house and were constantly getting into the house. I most recently called the owner Victor crying because my dog brought flees into the house and by the time we got home from a vacation they were pretty bad. After the initial perimeter spray, the number of ants crawling around the floors and counters was significantly reduced to just 'scouts' now and then, a major improvement. As part of the annual service offered by Colonial, Jesse once again came out to the house and performed another perimeter spray. He next went under the house into the crawl space and not only inspected for rodents and other vermin (no evidence), but set ant traps strategically. These devious little traps attract ants, and allow them to enter and take some of the poison back home to the nest and hopefully, to the queen. Then they all die. Jesse also performed an interior spray after asking me where ants have been sighted in the past. He sprayed the baseboards exclusively. I remarked that he looked like one of the Ghostbusters . . . I am happy to report that for the first time in months, not one ant has been sighted inside the house for two days straight. Mission accomplished. Thank you, Colonial Pest Management. read more

This was a couple years ago but they were good. They would send someone right away. The guy doing the work was always on time and polite. One big issue is the owner kept wanting to recharge me for the same month over and over. Even though his records showed it was paid and I sent bank statements. I had made copies of an old invoice since he doesn't have a tear sheet or bottom of his invoice. I only had old one. His admin lady understood but he insisted in back charging due to this. So I canceled my service, you can't be that stubborn and ignorant you loose clients that way. read more

Last week I contacted Victor from Colonial Pest Management and he was quick to respond and explain their services. I contacted other services that didn't respond as quick and wee not as personable and that is why I chose to go with Colonial. Today Joseph and his partner came to complete the service. They did a through job outside looking for ant colonies and spraying the property. They also sprayed inside the house and did a through job inspecting the house and explaining how different pests make their way into the house or how they can be located. I appreciated the extra time to explain these things to me. I had already signed up for a year service and am happy I went with them based on my interactions with them. As frustrated as one can be, we had to call an exterminator because we had a flea problem!! We had tried various DIY ways to "maintain" the infestation , but to no surprise the fleas multiplied!! I wanted to share my positive experience with Colonial Pest Control. There was a well established bee hive in my backyard. It was between my yard and my neighbors. I found CPC when I searched through yelp. They had so many great reviews so I contacted them. Victor was the person whom I spoke with on the phone and he was so friendly and professional (unlike some other guys that I also contacted). My neighbor and I set up an appt to have the beehive removed and Joseph did the work.
