We left for the weekend and when we used the sink on Monday clog was the same. We called and they wanted to charge us another $150 to come and redo their work. The response to me was "well what did you stuff down your drain". Kind of hard when no one was home. I believe this is terrible customer service and would not recommend to anyone. I have a business and would never treat a customer like this.

Billy and Chris showed up within that time, asked about some other plumbing issues I had mentioned to their office, and after looking at all the problem spots, got to work. They replaced 6 hose bibs (all were 26 years old and had been problematic for a while), flushed my tankless hot water heater and repaired it's condensation line, and got both sinks draining perfectly. That was not a quick fix as there was a clog way down there, greasy something and they had to use a couple snakes and then another tool to fix it. I was worried they would say they couldn't get it, but they just kept working at it. They said they don't stop until they have fixed something or tried all available means of repair. They were both professional, friendly and pleasant to work with. The jobs were fairly priced. I will call RJCarter for all my plumbing problems and highly recommend them.

Initially, the technician assumed the shower was clogged, but later realized it was a deeper issue. He said he needed to remove the toilet to snake the sewer line, and claimed the problem was resolved. However, just 4-5 hours later, sewage began backing up into the shower, and both toilets stopped flushing entirely. I contacted him that evening, asking for urgent help--no response. I called and texted again the next morning, and only then did he reply to say he was on vacation. He offered no backup plan or referral, leaving me to find another plumber to fix the mess. To make matters worse, he charged me $480 for snaking the shower and toilet--an excessive price for about 1 hour's work, given the poor outcome and lack of follow-up. I needed a simple toilet wax seal replacement, a half-hour job, but when Hunter pulled the toilet,…read morehe noticed standing water in the waste pipe. He asked if I had any backup issues. I had observed none recently. On further investigation, I did have a serious wastewater backup. I suspected that it was due to Comcast installing fiber optics in the neighborhood, drilling in the area of water/sewer pipes. So, the rest of the afternoon, Hunter worked with a camera and an auger to locate the blockage. He located it, but it was the lateral under my neighbor's driveway, which needed to be resolved by the utility company. Hunter asked me to let him know the outcome. It turned out to be a big deal. Indeed, the clay pipe was broken by Comcast's subcontractor drilling to install fiber duct. So, I knew there would be finger-pointing the like. I got it resolved, after a call to the PSC and a lot of back-and-forth. Sunshine Water sucked out the sewer and repaired the cracked pipe. I texted Hunter when the repair was complete, sending him photos of the cracked Clay pipe. I had shared his report with Sunshine Water, which gave them confidence in locating the break. This was very helpful because they couldn't get a camera in there due to the pipe being full of *(**&*&*. After I texted Hunter, he called me to ask how it went. I gave him the lowdown. In my long experience with home repair contractors and service companies, I have rarely encountered employees like Hunter. He left a job with loose ends beyond his control, but he cared enough about the job to want to know how it was resolved. Please thank him for me. And if I need plumbing services in the future, Modern Plumbing Industries is who I'll be dealing with.
