I spotted a 2016 1.8 Turbo Manual Transmission Jetta on their website with fewer than 22,000 miles on it for $15,000 that looked nice. I called Colonial Volkswagen, and Gina answered my preliminary questions about my car. I put down a $500 deposit on the car over the phone to hold it until I could view it in person as it was about 2 hours away and I couldn't look at it until after work. Gina said she wouldn't be there in the evening but that she would have me meet with Pierre. Pierre, from Lebanon, meet me when I arrived that evening to test drive the car. It was precisely in the mint condition that Gina had described on the phone except the front two wheels were chewed up, and the bottom bumper skirt had a gauge but probably not noticeable to anyone else. It had less than 22k miles on it, and the body was free from scratches, dents, and dings. Pierre said that for $150 more he'd have the wheels cleaned up (translation replaced) and I was happy with that and purchased the car that evening. One of Pierre's associated intercepted when I was on the phone with Service Credit Union (my first time using them, and my first auto loan) and advised them they used CUDL (pronounced "cuddle"). CUDL is the fully-customizable auto lending solution proven to streamline and enhance indirect auto funding. Using the CUDL system simplified the process and ceased the back and forth running around that the buyer (me), would typically have to do with the credit union in this situation. They also offered me a 100,000-mile seven-year resist all warranty for my vehicle, for $2,200 which I accepted. Pierre, Gina, and the nice man from Colorado, whose name escapes me all made my first newer car buying experience very pleasant, and I would highly recommend Colonial to anyone looking for a new, used VW. They explained each step of the process so naturally that it was easy to understand. The car was driven up to my city hall in NH by a lovely woman named Sarah, who called me a few minutes before ten am to say she was about to get on the road and would be here by eleven thirty. She was early, and I arrived at city hall at eleven fifteen just in case she was early and I texted her when I arrived that I was there and we met out front and walked in together to do the registration paperwork. The whole experience from look to purchase was seamless with the help of the experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable staff at Colonial VW in Westborough, MA. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a pre-owned VW.

EPIC FAIL!!!! A "vallet" is not fixing your parking problem. The building is a mess. Your staff is not helpful, seemed confused and in a state of panic. I was traveling for a work meeting and needed to get service done on my car. I called here to schedule an appointment. The lady on the phone sounded flustered, confused and was rambling. "what do they want me to write down again?" she said a couple of times. I get to the location and follow the signs to service, I pull into the service area like I have at all other VW dealers. (Life long VW owner here). A service person stares and smiles as I pull in. another service person walked up to me and says, "oh just park up there." The only places nearby was a fire lane and Handicap. So I figured he meant to go to the Sales area. The only place with parking spaces. Walking into the Sales area I was then told, "If I need service you need to park down there" So, I drive back down and park my car in front of a couple of cars. The only option. I come into the service rep. area and a small old man says. "Give me your key" Not knowing who this person was, I tell him "No?!" At this point I realize this man is stressed out and in a fit. He saids he needs to move my car. I then said, I need to show a service rep a couple of issues I'm having. He continues to freak out. I admit, I did get really riled by this interacting and did say, what the F*^K is going on in this place. I then tried to talk to a service rep. and ask what is going on here? this place is a mess! The one woman must have over heard me saying I need a service rep to look at something with my car. almost comedically, wide eyed and chewing gum says. "What, you got rust, I can look at the rust. you got rust?! " I didn't have rust, I have no idea why she said that. I told her to cancel the appointment, I'm leaving. The Service person that told me to park up at the sales area, I guess the manager, then spoke up and tried to calm down the situation. He had me move my car up a little bit, I then decided, I don't want to have my car serviced here. But I do need to get AdBlue before my trip back home. I walk into the parts area with him. The door was completely blocked by boxes, the service rep had to push and throw empty boxes around to make a walk way. There was a couple of techs at the parts desk that were nice and helpful. but wow was this place a miss managed disaster!

I was in the market for an Accord ESL 2.0. went to Boch, and got quotes from every nearby Honda dealer. They were the only dealer who had exactly what I wanted on the lot. The other places had good salespeople but going against H erb Chambers they were just outnumbered. I got follow up call from multiple people from the day I was on their radar. The salespeople were super helpful and not pushy at all. Very polite and professional. I came in on a Saturday with a car that was practically undrivable and left with what I wanted. Especially considering the…read morereview is for Honda Westborough, a dealership from which I purchased my favorite car of all time - 2020 Honda Pilot. Yet here I am, writing a one star review - not for the public facing customer service - they have always been and remain outstanding, including my last service representative, Karina. She was the utmost professional in my interactions. Honda Westborough earned a one star review because they have a systematic safety issue within their service department that seems, at least in my experience, to remain unfixed. What happened? Well, in 2024, after a routine maintenance and tire rotation, the service department failed to secure one of my tires, resulting in a near catastrophic accident on route 9, at night, during winter, with my two young boys in the car. Fortunately I was able to pull off into the next parking lot. To their credit, Honda Westborough dispatched a mechanic to meet me immediately and secured the tire, after which we drove the car back to ensure the alignment was normal and no other damage occurred. I was irate, but ultimately let this go - with the understanding and hope that Honda Westborough would not repeat this mistake and put in control measures to ensure this does not happen again. Fast forward to Aug 12, 2026. Routine service, tire rotation. Drove off the lot. After a while heard a clicking noise, this one not as obvious as the violent shuddering I experienced two years ago. The next day, I scheduled a service appointment. On my way to my morning appointment, the car again became an unstable, shuddering, undrivable vehicle. I pulled off to the closest parking lot and had the car towed in. What was the problem? Another loose tire, mostly unsecured and, according to the AAA crew who helped me, nearly off the axle. Now, either I am the most unlucky client in the history of Honda Westborough or their is a systematic safety issue that has gone either unaddressed or poorly addressed. I hope this never happens to anyone else. I feel obliged to make a public review because this kind of negligence is a real safety issue. I could have been killed or injured. My boys could have been killed or injured. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Honda Westborough has lost my business. I hope they take this seriously enough to address the issue internally.

I'll be honest -- I never expected to be writing a *glowing* review of a car dealership. But my…read moreexperience at Westboro Toyota on Route 9 in Westborough, MA was so genuinely good that I had to share it. It started with a bad situation: my old Camry needed $4,000 in repairs on top of $3,000 I'd already spent on it last year. Then my wife's car developed a power steering fluid leak *and* a fuel leak -- $6,000 in repairs on a car we paid $4,000 for. We needed two cars, fast. We headed to Westboro Toyota and were paired with salesperson **Adel Botros**. From the start, he was patient, transparent, and genuinely tried to understand what we needed. My wife wanted the lowest lease payment possible. I wanted a Corolla to purchase. Her 84-year-old mother (who came along for the ride) needed something easy to get in and out of. My wife test drove a Corolla LE first, but her mom found it too low to the ground -- she struggled to see over the dashboard and had trouble getting in and out of it. Since she relies on my wife to drive her everywhere, she offered to help with the payments if my wife would consider something more comfortable. So we asked Adel if she could also test drive a Corolla Cross SUV -- a significantly bigger jump in price. Many salespeople would have shown their frustration at that kind of mid-process pivot, but Adel didn't flinch. He smiled, grabbed the keys, and made it happen without a hint of hesitation. I tested the Corolla Sport Edition Hybrid, but when my purchase price was out of reach, Adel didn't just shrug -- he quietly worked up an alternative and turned his screen around showing me exactly the monthly number I had asked for, on a gas-only Corolla SE. Same great car, different powertrain -- and honestly, I liked it even better on the test drive. I even emailed him after getting home to ask if I could switch my reserved car's color to silver. He texted me the next morning to say one had arrived *that very day* and I could come sign paperwork that night. That's the kind of follow-through you don't forget. **Finance Manager Matt White** was equally impressive -- clear, friendly, and made what is usually the most painful part of buying a car feel completely painless. If you're car shopping, do yourself a favor: go to Westboro Toyota, ask for **Adel Botros**, and let Matt handle your financing. We were a picky, ever-changing group of customers and they treated us like we were their most important clients the entire time. Absolutely earned a 5-star experience. ***

After the engine replacement work, the car was returned dirty outside and inside, with dirty fingerprints left in the interior. The manager never offered a real apology or took accountability. Even after discounting the tax advantage, it was several thousand dollars better than Tesla's valuation, and CarMax claimed their process was very straight forward. Most of the transaction was done online, I uploaded their requested documents (license, registration, etc.). I was then asked when I would like to bring in my car for inspection and sale. A few days later, I arrived at my designated appointment time, and was promptly greeted at their front desk in their rather cavernous reception area. It's a bright and clean space, and was fairly quiet on this particular afternoon. I was told to drive my car into their garage for inspection, and return to their business office. About 10 minutes later, a very nice representative (Liz) told me that she was working on my paperwork, which would be ready in about 15 minutes. Liz returned with the paperwork, and patiently explained the few pieces of paper I was signing. I signed over the title and she handed me a check for the agreed upon amount. I was also given copies of all the paperwork and my license plates. She advised that I contact the registry quickly and destroy the plates if they weren't being transferred. I'd estimate about thirty minutes start to finish. I sold my car for a fair offer, lower than if I tried to find a private party sale, but safer, easier and no hassles. I can't comment on services related to buying a car here, but I was very satisfied selling my car here.

It was a clear attempt to make a pure profit through an interest rate markup. Even though my bank pre-approved me for a 9% rate, the manager refused to accept outside financing. I had really good opinion on MCGOVERN and sales manager is ruining the reputation by scamming people by not being transparent. If the sales manager--specifically the man with glasses and a beard--had been transparent instead of trying to scam us, we would have bought the car.
