Unfortunately, not only was the fob unable to be duplicated, but it was also accidentally deactivated during the process. Since it happened on a Friday evening, I wasn't able to reach my apartment management for a replacement, and ended up being without access for over two weeks. Despite that frustrating experience, I want to emphasize how great the team is overall. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and helpful, and I truly enjoy shopping at this location. I just hope that, moving forward, there's a bit more caution with items like key fobs to prevent similar issues.

The last time we went there to buy paint, the employee was unenthusiastic and unfriendly. So we gave it another try this weekend. I walked up to the paint counter. Two employees were having a problem with one of the paint machines, which one of them didn't seem to know how to use very well. I stood there for quite a while. They ignored me. I eventually asked the more experienced-seeming employee if it made sense for me to wait, or if they would be a long time. He launched into an explanation of how he needed to log in. I didn't think that was relevant, and asked again whether waiting made sense. He said yes, it made sense to wait. I stood there a while longer. I asked the same employee how long it would be. He stared at me. I asked if it would be more like 5 minutes or 15 minutes, or some other amount of time. He said it would be at least 15 minutes. I said that he should have told me that a long time ago. He started explaining again about needing to log in. I still didn't care, and explained that it was terrible customer service. Then we left and went to Monarch on Connecticut Ave, where they had excellent customer service. What on earth has happened to Frager's?

For the installers to return would be $200 additional charge-ugh. McLean Hardware quickly had 2 people assist my husband and for only $24 we got the adapter for the expensive Miele dishwasher to be installed and working! I saw 2 employees in the store, but they made no effort to ask me if i needed assistanc. The girl at the register was on her tablet. And the guy was on his phone, standing with a store branded shirt. Finally as I was getting ready to depart, the girl at the register asked: If I needed anything. I said no thank you and left. Not a good first impression. At least the big box stores, greet you and ask if you need anything when you come into the store. Perhaps they will get better with time.
