I went in the other day for a repeat purchase but there was a problem with the mixing machine. I stopped by again today. The store was busy and the man looked to see if he could make my paint. He could not but told me where the closest other Benjamin Moore store was located with good directions and printed off the mix formula for me to hand them. I wasn't treated like a stupid lady and he was very helpful. You don't get that at Home Depot - in fact you get the opposite. HD employees don't make eye contact with you so you don't stop and ask them anything.

They are polite, professional, and have been very helpful. Kudos to them for their knowledge of colors too. It is refreshing to go somewhere with experts, who remain humble, to have you squared away. Sherwin Williams paints can be expensive. Do consider this though. You are getting quality. Their paints for the house in my opinion, simply cannot be beat. The consistency and years of service is a factor. You don't have to apply multiple coat after coat either. Time is money.
