best experience I've had at a Color Me Mine location! I made a reservation for 8 people from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM on a Saturday, but my group was able to stay until around 2:00 PM without any complications or added fees! The workers were so great at accommodating not only our extra time, but also all of our requests for more paint, questions, etc. they had such a wide array of pottery to choose from. there were a lot of examples of painted pottery available for us to get ideas from, which we all really appreciated. the location itself is pretty big, allowing for multiple groups of varying sizes and ages to work at once. only complaint is the price of each pot, but obviously that includes the cost of paint, firing our pottery, and other necessary fees. Otherwise, this experience was great and I would absolutely come again!

I had so much fun here with my friend. The pieces are a bit pricey tho but they have a bunch to choose from. You get unlimited paint and they have a bunch of supplies like stencils, pencils, different shaped brushes, etc to make your vision a reality. I went when it was kind of slow so we overstayed the policy but they did not kick us out.

Boyf booked us a session for a lil Valentine's Day Date. This was such an enjoyable experience. We arrived & our table was set up and Ready. It was clean and very organized. The staff were so friendly, polite & sweet! Definitely made the experience better ! There was lots of options of what to paint & all the necessary equipment needed !! Lots of colors !! I had a great experience Thanks Color Me Mine UWS !!

Cute activity to try out and distract yourself from the fast pace of New York. I came here with a group of friends on a weekday evening and it wasn't too busy. We were able to make a reservation online. It is quite pricey as you have to pay for the pottery pieces in addition to the reservation/studio fees which did not go towards the ceramics in our case. It was also quite frustrating because of the lack of variety of ceramics to choose from. I was hoping for a tea cup, saucer, or teapot, but didn't find anything of interest so ended up picking a donut as I can use it for storage at least. They do have some seasonal pieces. All in all, it's more of a one and done and I wouldn't go back unless someone I really liked asked me to go with them.

It was so fun, the staff are so helpful, it's just an amazing experience and honestly so stress relieving, I would recommend for anyone who just wants to have a fun time and decorate something that they

Had a great time at Color Me Mine! Studio fees are $15 per person which just means you pay $15 to be there. Then you can select your piece of pottery from their large collection on the shelves. They range in price from $18-40 I would say. Most plates and bowls are in the $30-36 range. Then they get you some paints and give instructions and you're free to go. The reservation was only for 1.5 hours but I think we were there for 2.5 and no one was trying to rush us out.

Came here as part of a large group thinking it was $15 + the pot you chose but it ended up being around $71 per person?? When the pots were around $30-40? Turns out there was a 25% service charge added for large groups but the service didn't feel deserving of such a hefty tip.

I love color me mine, but the service at this location was very slow and workers don't tend to check on you or explain directions, etc. besides that an amazing experience and definitely coming back, just not sure about this location. Book in advance!

Has a fun time painting here! Was pretty pricey. About $50 for the table reservation and the piece I painted combined. They also didn't have tons of options when I went. Maybe because it was the end of the day? But I wish there had been more plate/cup/vase options. I ended up painting a Santa for my mom for Christmas. It turned out really well! They tell you it'll look so much better after they fire it and they're right. When you're painting it can be a little concerning, but don't worry, it'll look great in the end! They were out of white paint when I was there which was super annoying because that's such a basic color. Luckily the pottery is white so if you don't paint it, it will turn out white, but frustrating if you need to layer the white over something else. Overall, I had a fun time and they happened to be giving out free ice cream when I went. But I wouldn't come back just because it was so pricey. I would maybe come back if I was going to paint with someone else and share, like a significant other.

This was a great and fun place. They have different items that you can pick to paint. It's extremely fun. I went on a Saturday afternoon and I had so much fun. It's a great art activity to do. The place is beautiful and customer service was great.

What really sealed the deal for me was the ability to paint and leave with your masterpiece on the very same day. It was super important for the kids to take home what they worked on; waiting a whole week for a pot to cure and dry is something we can save for a future birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. There were other kids happily making soap, and the woman who greeted us kindly explained that we could pick whatever we wanted to paint. Once we selected our items, we paid and were set up at a table with paints, brushes, and an apron. I'm so glad she made sure we knew the paint didn't wash out of clothes. Pro-tip: Even if you're not painting, wear the apron. Trust me, your shirt will thank you for this advice! The kids had an absolute blast. It was so interactive, and once they finished, they had blow dryer stations so we could dry the paint. The best part? They took the painted items to the back and made them all shiny! This place is a definite hit. And I hear it's fun even for adults with no kids in tow. Girls' night, anyone? Sign me up!

Fortunately, the number of stars that I had for each experience was five. The first time around I painted the Cinderella figure and my mother painted the pumpkin figure. The second time around we painted mugs. The two projects required two different types of paint. Unfortunately, the prices are kind of insane. The Cinderella figure was $49.99 plus tax, the pumpkin was $29.99 plus tax, and both mugs were $29.99 plus tax. Even though it was expensive I still had so much fun and everything I made came out looking great. Everything my mom made came out looking great. I can see myself coming back, and I can't wait to see what my pieces look like once they're out of the kiln.

It was so fun getting to make our first potteries together, and the instructor, Iso was such a vibe; I loved her quirky uplifting spirit. She even made me a cute pottery to take home. She did her best to teach us the basics, but when there's a group of 9 people, I think it's just difficult to tend to everyone, so some people were struggling. I don't think anyone in my party left feeling satisfied with their work. It also sucked that a chunk of our booked time was allotted for cleaning up. It seems like that's the norm for pottery classes, but again, with that many of us, we wasted a lot of time just trying to take turns at the sink to clean up. Still, the experience was not bad at this point. We were excited to see the final results once they were glazed and colored. However, everything went downhill after we left the place. When I went there to pick up the potteries, everything was a mess. It was super difficult trying to find everyone's work admist a bunch of other potteries. With zero organization, it's no wonder they lost my sister's. So, they said they'll try to look for it and if they can't find it, they'll make her a new one. While it's nice that they rectified the situation by offering to make her a new one, that really defeats the purpose of taking the pottery class. Why not just go to the ceramics store instead? It would've been better if they offered to give her a free class to make a new one. At the end of it all, they couldn't find her work, so they made her a new one. But the process to receiving that new one took a while.

That would have been fun! - I think some of the prices are affordable and some are not, I totally would pay $15 for a ring holder but I dont know If I would pay $48 for a bowl. So if you go keep in mind whats really worth it. - I believe is amazing how they allow the freedom to run wild for each person, but I would have appreciated more companionship from the "waitress" or at least for her to take a moment to guide us more, maybe there is a way where we can be guided over the phone with a video or something - I loved the space, it was all I thought it would be and is pretty spacious.
