ColorMe is a terrific, very clean and bright salon!!! This was my first time in after finding them here on Yelp, and they have online booking which is HUGE for me. All of their services/pricing are online as well, not all places list that but they really should. I had a regular manicure which is $25 (a great price for Boston and even more so here in Wellesley), there was a huge selection of colors so there is something for everyone. I had a wonderful experience at Color Me Nail Salon. I asked for something that is natural but with sparkles and they nailed it on the gel mani pedi. I had to work while doing the pedicure, and everyone was respectful while I worked on my laptop on the pedicure chair. I sometimes get scared of the skin trimming along the nails because I've had past experiences where it was painful, but they were so gentle and it didn't hurt at all here. The salon was clean and there was a nice calm vibe. I also witnessed the staff handle so professionally and with kindness when there was a difficult situation where a client requested a re-do. I very much wanted to like Color Me. I live locally, so the salon is convenient, and the reviews are great. This was my second visit, and I arrived right on time for a pedicure. All was well when the nail tech, who had painted ONE nail, asked if I liked the color. I decided that I'd prefer something other and we proceeded. There was some kind of huffy exchange between the owner and the person I was working with. Nothing was said to me at the time, but it felt wrong and uncomfortable. When checking out, I tipped generously and was inquiring about the next appointment when I noticed the charge was $10 above the stated price for the service I booked. When I questioned the upcharge, the tech told me I had changed colors, which is why. Although I suspect the owner was overseeing this when the polish color was changed, neither she nor the tech talked to me like an adult. In addition, the color change was a non-event; it took no time to make me happy, which I was! What they have now is a local customer who feels disrespected, who will not return. read more

My first experience was on Thursday May 16, 2024 and I was absolutely thrilled! The Spa was cheery, very clean and tidy and was equipped with everything. However the best service was performed by everyone who worked at the salon. Jasmine did miracles on my mani and pedi. She was able to transform my broken short nails into beautiful medium length almond shape beauties in a perfect red color that matched the dress I am wearing for our grandson's birthday and high school graduation celebration.
