She cleaned, made a few tweaks, did a test patch and it was perfect again. turns out I had the embroidery bobbin inserted from the previous owner.. I ended up getting the correct one and I'm so glad I did because once I got home, I couldn't find the regular bobbin. New to sewing, so still learning my sewing machine! He also can't hear, so he yells at you. I came in to have an item embroidered and he told me it would take over a week. I told him never mind and was ready to leave when he told me he could complete it in a couple of days, I'd just have to pay a rush fee. I paid the fee and came back on the day agreed. My item was untouched in the box just like when I left. He said he could have it ready the next day, but that was too late for me. He also mentioned how it wasn't ready because someone had a flood in their house. If that was the case, I should've been notified that my item wasn't going to be ready so I could try to make other arrangements. I wish I would've read the other bad reviews, because I had the same experience as others.

I messaged them through yelp on a sunday inquiring about the price and they responded pretty quickly despite the shop technically being closed. I was able to make an appointment for the following day on monday and Jason was super cool about showing me all my options and letting me lead with what I had in mind. My stole was done THE NEXT DAY which is crazy because a lot of places said it would take several days or even weeks to complete and I needed it fast because I was taking my grad photos that following saturday. This next part is kind of embarrassing but it must be mentioned...I mixed up their hours and went to pick it up on friday at 5:03pm but they had just closed at 5pm. I panicked because I was literally having people come down to help me with my photoshoot the next day and the shop is closed on the weekends. I called and messaged them on yelp explaining the mistake I made. Karen found my phone number and called me asking if I would be able to come back to their shop later that evening because they would be out all morning the next day. Only when I put the box on the table was I told "we don't ship retail boxes it needs to be in another box"... This couldn't be said when you acknowledged me and my box? You make me stand in line? FedEx had no issue delivering the box to me, but returning I was told "no"... I don't recommend FedEx or this location- I should have checked the reviews before coming. Highly recommend another location or home pickup.
