Came in two weeks ago for (1) football jersey, They did not have anything close to it or anything that would be a close alternative. Felt like needing just (1) was not worth their time. Order jersey on line and received it in (3) days, would love to take it to Kens to have the lettering done but cannot get them to answer their phone. This place is absolutely terrible. It took half a year to complete so 6 months almost 7. My promise date was 6/6/24 which means it was absolutely was supposed to be done by then. They kept coming up with excuses and pushing my sweater back and it's now not gonna be done until the 6/24/24. The girls there are also so very rude and with act like they don't even wanna be there. They ended up messing my sweater up as well smh. They also abuse that there's no many sweater embroidery companies. Ps: Ended up spending $758 COMPLETELY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

Zero stars if possible. Ordered uniforms and accessories that were promised in 7 weeks. It has been almost half a year and nothing yet. Order was close to $1,000.00. Worst of all, over 10 messages and emails with zero responses to date. This in unbelievable and disgraceful! I'm just hoping I was not scammed by a fake business at this point. Shortage of football shoulder pads? Not at Ken's. I was able to grab the right size for my som and a few extra for some others on our team. They had plenty in stock but n larger sizes as well. Alex was helpful and was actually able to help 3 different customers at the same time. He was educated on their products and was friendly as well. They had plenty of other gear in stock as well for baseball, lacrosse, football. They have local school gear as well. We (Royal High School Football, Simi Valley, CA) had Ken's set up an online store for coaches to purchase additional coach's gear. They only gave us 2 weeks to get orders in. I got my order in for 3 items and they took my $160.62 when I completed on my online order on May 7, 2023. I have yet to receive my items. Their rep did NOT return calls from our contact person. So, I called their customer service directly. They had the order but now say the rep will get back to me. This is really poor. Please find someone else to get your organizations' gear!!! read more

I purchased my daughters letterman jacket from Ken's it turned out great!! The turnaround time was right on time. I just went back to add more patches and the girls working there are all very nice and helpful especially with ideas on patch placement. I've also ordered personalized patches for her gear and the turnaround time was right on time. In 2022, we had a letterman's jacket done. It was gorgeous, so when we needed one for our next kid, Ken's was the only choice for us. We just picked it up, and it is also just gorgeous. Now a few of our athletes never received their completed uniform order & season ended last month. New season has arrived & still the athletes have yet to receive their full uniform & warmup gear, that they paid in full months ago! Zero returned phone calls or emails from Ken's Rep Jason, to give us update or refund for failed delivery of paid merchandise! This business is a hard pass! Run don't walk! This business is the most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. I guess the Norco saying of being The American way, is just a slogan to Ken's! This is where you go to get your kids letterman jacket. We drove an hour to do just that and saved over $200 for a fantastic looking jacket over the high desert guy that does this. I tell every parent I can to go to Ken's and get the jacket. Delivery is quoted around 8 weeks give or take but it will be done sooner. Adding patches so far has taken just a few days. I have never written a negative review but I felt this was necessary because I don't want this to happen to another family. My daughter is a senior this year and since she was a freshman she has looked forward to the day that she would get her letterman jacket. The time came and we took our patches and design to Ken's to place an order. When we got there a young man helped us with the order of the jacket. We told him my daughter wanted a navy body with double red stripes on the cuffs and bottom of jacket as well as white sleeves and hood. When placing the order I told him we wanted the white to be a bright white. He said the bright white is called optic white and wrote it down on the order. He wrote the hood color as white. I pointed it out and told him we want it bright white like the sleeves. He said yes, they will know to match the white. We went on to the embroidery part of the store to place the design order. When it was ready for pickup my daughter was beyond excited. Finally she was going to get to wear her jacket. We got to Ken's and picked it up from the embroidery counter. The embroidery was fantastic but we immediately noticed the hood was not bright white like the sleeves. It isn't even white really. It's more like a creamy color. I walked right over to Ken's to ask about this. The girl's reply was, "There is only one white color for the hood and that is why we don't recommend the white." Nobody had told us any of this. If there is only one white or it's not something they recommend why weren't we told about this when ordering, before paying hundreds of dollars ($536 in total), and before getting all our patches sewn on. Yes, it's just a jacket and I'm thankful my complain is only about a jacket but to my daughter this was a big deal and so I felt it was necessary to let others know about it. read more

Excellent customer service and excellent inventory. After an unsatisfactory experience at a huge sporting good store nearby, I drove for extra miles to see if they had what I needed. They had such an amazing selection of baseball merchandise and the young man that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I even picked up some Fastpitch batting gloves for my daughter that are very hard to find. I'll plan to get all my softball and baseball merchandise here in the future. If I could give them 10 stars I would! The customer service was amazing from start to finish. Let me start by saying I have heard my share of horror stories when it comes to embroidery. This was not the case!!! After being referred to Ken's from a fellow parent and seeing their work I was almost sold. Unfortunately I travel out of state for work and had to send my daughter into Ken's alone to pick out her Letterman jacket and customize it. The employees helped her from start to finish. I was able to pay over the phone without any hassle. They gave her a time and date for pick up (6 weeks out). Still holding my breath I waited an extra day before calling to confirm the pick. The lady over the phone confirmed it was ready and gave me such comfort by explaining how good of a job my daughter did and how cute she thought the jacket turned out. Boy was she RIGHT.... It came out adorable!! We have already referred two people and my daughter has only worn her jacket for one day! Thank you all... at Ken's Sporting Goods. I took a jacket to Kens Sporting Goods the week before Christmas to have some patches and embroidery done. Initially I was told it would be a few weeks before they could get to it because they were behind on orders. No problem. That being said, I was surprised/excited when I got a text saying it was ready to be picked up yesterday, 1/6/23. About an hour after receiving the text that it was ready, I get a call asking about size preference on one of the items to be sewn on. Now I'm confused. I ask about the text I got about it's completion and was told, "no it's not ready, but will be by the end of the day". I responded I'll just pick it in the morning, 1/7. I get to the store only to find that it's not even close to being completed, and was told there were "maintenance issues with the machine yesterday, and it couldn't be finished". Later in the day I call to ask what the new timeline is, and I'm hit with a new excuse in that "the person that's working on it is out on vacation, and it will be at least another week". At this point I don't know what to believe. Is it not ready because the machine went down, or did the person working on it say to heck with it and went in vacation early? Remember, I was contacted and told it was ready yesterday. Btw, services were paid in full at the time the order was placed. read more

Went here for embroidery without reading the reviews and I'm glad I did. My sons badge came out perfect. And in half the time that they quoted me. I thought the price was reasonable. There was one thick part of the bag they couldn't do (and they told me that up front). They make a "patch" of what I wanted and sent me next door to shoe cobbler who was able to put it on. Upon entering I was greeted immediately. I went there specifically to their embroidery department called "U and Urs Embroidery" to get my daughters' dance jackets rhinestoned with their names. There is a wall full of embroidery samples. I was greeted at the counter and they helped me with what I needed. They contract their stoning out to somebody else. My daughters' jackets were done in 10 days. I paid $29 which was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Once we get finished product it's never what they say colors blend stick count is way off and won't help to fix it's always the customers fault . I called before to ensure that I was able to return a Varsity Jacket that has not been used, had tags, and was in great condition. When I was told that I can come by and return, I come to be asked, "Who did you talk to?" and "We don't do that." I was also told that returns are not made because these jackets are made to order, but I purchased it in-store, right off the rack. No sense of communication between employees, I would not have bothered to come to the store if I received a different answer than what I was given. Huge disappointment and waste of time. read more

I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in my life. I ordered a league bat for my grandson for Christmas back on 1st of November and they said we were getting a discount since they were at the field for several teams. They didn't discount and they could get it to us as they said it's back ordered. I can understand back ordered but they never called to tell us I had to call them constantly and they never return your calls and when you do get a hold of them they keep you on hold for 30 minutes and more. They are rude and they sure don't take care of the customers. So we dropped them and went to a reputable sporting goods store called dicks sporting goods and our bat was cheaper and they had it and they always give great service. We would not recommend U and UR's custom Embroidery. We bought new Christmas Stockings for our new home and wanted to have our names embroidered on them. We hoped to treasure the stockings for years to come in our new home. First of all the work was not completed when promised. Then they never even called once the embroidery was done. When we finally arrived to pick them up they did not even want to show them to us, just handed the bag to us and expected us to leave without looking at them. Note we had already paid for the work ahead of time. We opened the bag and wow! They put tiny letters on them that looked so ridiculous. They just said "oh...it says one inch letters on the order". However, upon placing the order we didn't specify a size because they had sample stockings hanging at the counter, and indicated we wanted them to look like that. They did not look like their samples at all. Anyways, we said how unhappy we were with the work and the owner agreed to "try and re-do them". A few days later , upon picking them up, more disappointment The letters were bigger, however some of the letters were wider stitch than others and because of damage done to the stockings while removing the small letters, they just looked like garbage. We spent a lot of money on five new stockings and embroidery only to throw them out and purchase new stockings. If you value your personal items, please don't bring them to U and UR's custom embroidery at Ken's Sporting goods. What a waste of time and money. read more

You can call and order any item you need. I always get great customers and return calls exactly when they say they will call. Great team prices and they will even allow to take out samples to show parents. I go here just as much as I go to the chain stores, Kens carries items they don't! I got my daughter's lettermen's jacket from here and was extremely pleased with the outcome. I can only rate this place on the lettermen's jacket. The price of the jacket was around 190.00, which was the least expensive of all the places I checked in the Inland Empire. You pay for the jacket and pay the other half later which was a good deal. Other places require a bigger deposit. The jacket was completed in a timely manner and came out beautiful! The sleeves are genuine leather and the material is 80 percent virgin wool. Very good quality jacket and my daughter said it kept her warm the other night. The final cost for the jacket was around $350.00, which was about 150.00 cheaper than most other places. They will also add on patches (for a small fee) on the jacket as your child acquires more patches. They have many samples and for those girls who like "bling" looking jackets they have them available! I definitely recommend going to this place for your lettermen's jacket. read more
