I ask for all of us to be booked to see Dr. Stuart Lewis (I had read some not great reviews about another faculty member and knew I didn't want to see them), but then was informed after I let the person on the phone know I'd need both contact and glasses exams, to which I was told I'd have to see someone else for contacts, which is ridiculous. I'm certainly not making another appointment (when you're already over a month out) for someone else. Why would I do that? Well, I won't, so I guess I'll move on. I've worn both glasses and contacts for over 3 decades, and I've never heads such nonsense.

Woke up on a Sunday with an extremely irritated eye...and worked for the next few days with it like…read morethat. On Wed decided enough was enough and contacted Levinson Eye Clinic to have it looked at and they managed to squeeze me in emergency visit. Turns out I had a scratch on my cornea somehow, 20% of it, and had been ripping it open with each and every blink. Not only did they take care of me completely, they offered the best eye care I've ever had (and I've a lot of eye problems in the past 7 years similar to this). They checked my eye thoroughly and even put a zero power contact on it as a bandaid SOMETHING NEVER DONE AT ANY OTHER PLACE I'VE BEEN TO (WERE THEY ALL IDIOTS?) Immediately my life went from please kill me to yay I feel almost normal. I highly recommend this eye clinic. Thanks so much Dr. Levinson.

The care and compassion from the doctor and his NP at the time was great! I don't usually write reviews, but today decided that Dr. Levinson deserved a shoutout for how happy I STILL am with the results. Just had my eyes checked for the first time in a few years (moved out of state so can't follow with him anymore) and my astigmatism is returning a bit which I was told would happen but overall vision is still 20/20. At the young age of 47, just need to start using readers! So very happy that I spent the money 18 years ago and invested in LASIK surgery and trusted Dr. Levinson. It was a good experience then and I am still happy now. If you are considering LASIK surgery, this is who you should go with.

His practice has expanded to include an office in Centennial and has added additional physicians. My current doctor is Weston Sherwood (not yet on business card) since he just graduated last year. Over the years the office staff has changed but the service and care is top notch. They have all the current diagnostic machines. They accept all standard insurance plans including VSP. Their in house lab and eyeglass retail space have been served by Julie & Kyle as long as I can remember. They continue a standing policy that you can get your eyeglasses adjusted for free Mon-Fri and Sat till 1pm. They continue to hand out free microfiber cleaning cloths and alcohol cleaning sprays. Free parking around building with handicap ramps. Nice seating area.

Based on a recommendation from my bestie, Smoky Hill Eye Care was highly recommended. Getting an appointment was easy. (Bonus: They have appointments on Saturdays.) Office staff are very professional, and the testing done is thorough. They are upfront with communication about the costs of procedures and bill insurance appropriately. Dr. Puzzo was friendly and got my new prescription updated with ease. The only thing that took a little more time than I would have liked was the online questionnaire I had to complete before my appointment. There was no way to mark some questions with multiple answers, so you had to answer a question multiple times to have more than one answer. (In my case, it was because I have multiple allergies.)

My eyes have never felt better to be honest. The staff know how to order a year supply of lenses- always with a rebate code through the lens company and always get you the best deal when dealing with insurance. I found this office through my insurance to remove a small cyst from my tear duct. While scheduling…read morewas easy and the facility is nice, the actual experience felt optimized for their profit rather than my care. I feel like they completely lost sight of the main reason for my visit. The Issues: Lack of Consent for Testing Before seeing the doctor, a tech administered pressure and glaucoma tests without my prior knowledge or consent. When I expressed nervousness, the tech brushed it off without explaining anything about the test or why it was necessary. Even though my insurance covered it, billing for unauthorized tests is a major red flag. Distractions & Upselling When I finally saw Dr. Burrell, she confirmed the cyst but immediately shifted focus to an "overpopulation of eye mites." I was instructed to buy two OTC OCuSOFT products at the front desk for $60 (which I later found on Amazon for $40). As for my actual cyst? She told me to use a hot compress on it for a month to see if it reabsorbs into my body and to schedule a follow-up. Padding Appointments During the intake, the tech asked about dry eyes. I casually mentioned they only get dry when I smoke marijuana, but they formally added "dry eyes" to my medical chart. The Runaround A month later, the hot compresses had done absolutely nothing. I called to ensure my upcoming second appointment would be the actual cyst removal. Instead, the tech told me the doctor wanted to use that visit to follow up on the "dry eyes" and eye mites, and just "assess" the cyst again before scheduling the removal. It shouldn't take three separate appointments (and three co-pays) to remove a minor cyst. After failing to reach an agreement for cyst removal to be done on my next visit, I canceled my appointment and decided I'll just find another Dr. If you want a provider who respects your time, your consent, and your wallet, I would look elsewhere. I felt "squeezed" for profit every step of the way.
