I've now been to Roxanne three times, and I can confidently say she's the first hairstylist who has really gotten my hair into great shape. From the very first visit she actually listened to what I wanted and took the time to understand my hair and make a plan that made sense. One thing I especially appreciate is that she never cuts more than I ask for (which has definitely happened to me with other stylists - I have left places in tears before!). She's careful, skilled, and clearly knows what she's doing. Each time I've left my appointment my hair has felt healthier and looked better than before. I also think it's notable that normally because I have thin hair (I think?) stylists finish my appointments in way less than an hour. She takes her time though, and it shows. It always looks perfect and lasts until the next haircut. On top of that, her prices are reasonable for the quality of work she does. She has an exceptional talent for cutting curly and wavy hair and truly understands how to work with natural texture. I had a keratin treatment with Nicoletta and loved it. The treatment has made my hair so much softer. I have zero frizz. Nicolette had to reschedule my treatment initially because the product she liked to use (one that's much less toxic than other products) hadn't been delivered yet. Rather than use a product she didn't trust, she rescheduled my appointment. That means the world to me and shows me how seriously she takes the safety and well-being of her clients. Not sure why I didn't write this sooner but Sterling literally changed my life and I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm actually not. Before I started coming to her I had never had a haircut I liked and would always leave the salon crying lol so I hadn't gone to one in maybe a decade. But Sterling always makes the process so enjoyable, despite me sitting in a salon chair for 5 hours.
