I accidentally curbed one of the wheels on my Tesla Model Y in a drive-thru and was pretty bummed about it. After looking around for mobile wheel repair in the Livermore area, I found Colormetics and reached out to Mark. He responded quickly, had me text a couple photos of the damage, and gave me a clear quote right away. He came out to my house and repaired the wheel right at my driveway. The whole process took about 30-45 minutes and the result is incredible -- I honestly can't tell where the curb rash was. Mark was professional, friendly, and clearly knows what he's doing. The color match on the wheel is perfect and the finish looks factory again. If you're in the Tri-Valley and need wheel repair, I would absolutely recommend Colormetics. Super convenient, fair pricing, and excellent work.

Fiancé and I accidentally gave our car a curb rash last Thursday and contacted Mark the same day for a repair. He was so fast to respond and also flexible with the time and location he could meet us at. We paid $129 to have one tire fixed and while I'm not sure if that's great value since I've never had this type of service done before, we were really happy with the results! Mark was extremely accommodating and made our rim look brand new. We also inquired with him about a windshield repair since we had a small crack from a rock but he told us that the fix wouldn't help much. To me, this showed that he wasn't just in it for the money but also to genuinely help his customers. We highly recommend his service and would go to him again if we needed his help.

I agreed to save some money and go to him Concierge style service way beyond what I expected After agreeing to fast estimate ( pictures of entire wheel damage) Appointment was set and I was texted directions to park in local auto dealer parking ( jaguar) owner then introduced himself. I was escorted to luxury showroom waiting area complete with bagels and espresso ( free) what? Random salesman was very familiar with Colormetics and stated he contracts with tons of dealers and really takes care of his customers After waiting exactly estimated time I checked carefully and was surprised that I couldn't tell where damage used to be I'm glad to see a hard working guy be successful and get some recognition and it sure beats buying a new wheel I just show the before picture because the after looks brand new

Recommended by a friend. Got my Tesla X wheels badly dinged. I called and was instructed to send pic of the full wheel. Sent via text and was given estimate right away. I ended up asking to fix the other 2 tires that has some scratches. It was perfect after they fixed them. You can either bring it to their shop in Livermore or ask them to come over to your place for a minimal charge. Will contact them again soon as Costco tires scratched one of my wheels again. Highly recommended read more

This business is professional, on time, fair pricing with high quality work. I called for an estimate and the owner was able to provide a fair pricing. It is also great that the business provides the onsite mobile service. The repair process of my scratched wheels were done in about an hour (2 wheels). They look brand new after that. I introduced my wheel to the curbside and left with some deep long scrapes. I hear this is a common practice amongst Tesla owners. I contacted Mark (Colormetics) on Yelp and he got back to me within minutes with a quote. The price was reasonable, comparable to buying those plastic wheel covers that may or may not prevent curb scrapes. We were able to work out an appointment based on my availability. Mark showed up on time, we chatted a little bit and he got to work. The wheel now looks brand new, like the curb incident never took place. Just bought a new to me car (4.5K miles on it) and there was some bad sidewalk rim damage on 2 of the rims. I left a message for Mark, and he texted me back within a few hours. After owning my Tesla for a year the inevitable happened. I got some curb rash on my front passenger tire while doing a fail whale of a parking job. Reached out to Mark and he responded super quickly. Said he was able to visit me in Oakland for mobile service later in the week. He headed over and provided an accurate ETA and got right on it. Got some curb rash on rear passenger wheel, not long after purchasing a new Tesla. First time I had ever done that before with any car. Mark did such a fantastic job on my rims, I'm regretting that I should have had this done years ago. Even though part of my rim has a faux brushed finish, he was able to blend the repair to the rest of the rim to the point I have to put my face up to notice the difference. Mark is truly a craftsman of his trade. I will highly recommend his services to anyone I know. I used Yelp for a few businesses on repair estimates for my dented front bumper cover on my Rav4…read more Did you know that the car's frame is mostly steel or aluminum to protect drivers and passengers, sensors, electronics, etc. but in most cases the outside cover is bendable plastic for aerodynamic reasons? The bad news is that plastic deforms too much from a collision, you can't just massage it back to shape with a hair dryer. Also, who knows if anything else on the car behind the plastic is damaged or out of alignment. California Collision came to the rescue and was able to replace my bumper cover, have it painted, and then recalibration done for the various car sensors to eliminate fault codes. Even minor collisions can cause sensors to be faulty, so don't assume it's a cosmetic thing and try to cut corners and get your vehicle repaired properly. The job took a few hours one day to paint match, then a separate full day to install, recalibrate, and test drive the vehicle to ensure bo more fault codes. George was extremely friendly and transparent with the repair process. He even gave me a tour of his shop and explained the workflow. Its a family business as his son and daughter also work here. He obviously values work-life balance and is closed Friday-Sunday. Body Shops are not cheap but if you need a thorough repair and want things done right, I highly recommend California Collision. If paying out of pocket, use a debit card with a high spend limit to avoid credit card fees.
