Got a Traditional Croissant ($5.50). The croissant was buttery. However, it could have been more flakier. I also wanted to try their Country Levain Bread but they did not have a bread slicer machine on premise (I really like uniform sliced bread and my knife skills are horrendous). Service was very friendly and upbeat. They are located in the middle of a residential area. I went on a Saturday around 09:00 and ended up parking about a block away near the school.

Ordered bread, muffin and breakfast sandwich for pick up. Bread is consistently amazing. Muffin was tasty. Breakfast sandwich was terrible. Egg and cheese was cold. Not room temperate, but cold. Like straight out of the refrigerator cold. Inedible. Lesson learned: bread or muffins are safe. $15 breakfast sandwiches are a hard pass.

Came in to try their coffee. I wasn't sold on the variety they had to offer. Nothing about their coffee stood out that separated them from other coffee shops. I tried their drip coffee and it was okay. I also tried their hojicha coffee and that too was just okay. I wouldn't come back here again.

The pastries here are incredible. Their kouign amann was the best one that i've ever had, the bottom was perfectly caramelized and the inside so buttery. My favorite was their seasonal squash, mornay, and pumpkin seed gremolata savory danish, it was unique and tasted so good, i wish i could get another one! Another big hit was the cinnamon sugar twist, it kind of reminded me of a way better version of a cinnamon roll haha. The ham and cheese croissant and the garlic herb and cheese scone were also incredible. I'm usually pretty let down by chocolate chip cookies but this one didn't disappoint me at all! Every item i got here was amazing and i will definitely be coming back when i'm in town again.

Hands down one of the best little hole-in-the-wall coffee and bakery spots around! Everything we tried was amazing--you literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The cappuccino was perfect, and the barista absolutely crushed it. Pastries are generous (perfect for sharing), and the bread is baked fresh every day. Only tiny downsides are limited parking and not a ton of seating, but honestly it's in such a great walkable neighborhood with a park super close by--ideal for taking the kids afterward and letting them run around after we've had our coffee fix. We'll be back for sure!

If you only get one thing here ... let it be the OG cookie!!!! I try to stay away from sweets as much as I can, but the OG cookie is definitely my weakness. It's perfect every single time and I always buy more than one at a time. Service is friendly. This place is small but has a lot to offer. I haven't tried their coffee yet, but I have had their matcha and it was just ok. Perhaps their coffee is better or maybe they were having an off day. Parking has never been an issue. It is street parking, but I am usually able to find one nearby and right away.

Bottomline - save your gas money and time, and go to Porto's for better taste and price Drove out to try this based on reviews and NPR spot. Very small shop / store front. Parties - Croissant and sticky buns - all $6 or above. Chocolate amount in the croissant was small and lacking. Sticky bun felt overcooked and hard. Appreciate the small shop effort - but not worth the price and drive.

Top left scone (I don't recommend the scone), bottom left fruit/custard pastry, top right croissant, bottom, right chocolate croissant.

Great pastries! Delicious croissants! Skip the scones, they are very dry. Tiny place. Take out only. Worth the wait if there's a line. There was a 5th cinnamon pastry in my box but it accidentally fell in my mouth It was delicious!

I was near by and in the mood for something chocolatey. I got lucky and pulled up right before they close on Sunday at 2pm. The double chocolate muffin caught my eye. While it's $5.50 and it's not very big. It's mos definitely worth every penny. It's moist, flavorful and airy. Not a bad combo in my opinion. Kinda bummed I only got one. Cute little spot too fyi

I've had plenty of their sweet pastries so I decided to try a savory scone today. The herbs and garlic were so balanced and delicious. The little pockets of cheese made it. The flaky salt on top was just the right touch. I got their salted caramel latte too with oat milk. I've never been disappointed here. As usual everyone was so nice!

I really hate to throw any shade on an independently own businesses. But, for your first-timers out there or you people thinking about going to the establishment, I think there's probably a couple of things that you should think about before you come to this café. First of all, let me speak about the high points. The staff here are all super nice. They do their job jobs very well, and they're very friendly. In terms of their food, it seems very well prepared, and it's always really tasty. They have a very nice cross-section of Americana, Cali/Mex, and other items that really make the selection of what you decide to eat truly an adventure. Plus, they have a really nice selection of drinks, including all of the expected: soft drinks, coffees, lattes, and all of that kind of stuff. They also have a few fairly unique drinks. All good! In terms of atmosphere, they have two main interior dining spaces. Both are very well presented, and the tables are nicely spaced apart so you never feel too close to the other customers in the restaurant, even when it's crowded. They also have a couple of outdoor tables, if that's your preference. If you want to sit out and enjoy the atmosphere. Again, all good! There's a few things that are a little bit funky about this restaurant, however, which always send me to wondering. The first is, they do not have their Health Department Grade displayed on their front window as is required. Generally, I've always found the only time restaurants don't show their grade is when they've received a lower than A marking. So, I don't know what Health Department Grading this restaurant has as it is not displayed. Simple as that. It makes me wonder. The other thing is, if you go to the restroom, you walk past their kitchen and their food preparations areas. You can't help but see the space. I don't know? It just seems a little bit funky back there. Then, when you go into the restroom, if I can be kind, it really needs a renovation. There's caulking and filler used all along the lower walls. Why? That's only known by the people who run this establishment. But, it's just a little bit funky back there. They have these upper shelves, covered with small draperies. Plus, there's an area where they keep their supplies, that it's just not a nice thing to look at when you're eating in a café. My feeling is this stuff should all be separated from the dining establishment so the customers don't have to look at it when they use the restroom. It's just not a good look. Overall, all this being said, this is an unique café, that offers some interesting dishes. I'm just telling you the facts. Make of it what you will.

We were attracted to the signage, and photos of the decor, thought we'd give it a shot. Walked in on a late Sunday afternoon, to bright smiles and welcoming hellos. Ambiance was hitting immediately. The menu, is a bit of this and a little of that. We really didn't know what we were in the mood for. I decided on 1 oyster and one scallop on the half shell. Very fresh, kind of small, servings. The sauce on each were unique and flavorful with a shallot accompaniment. Very nice though. Really balanced flow. The oyster, well I dont know how to express it any other way other than that you need this. You really do. I ordered the mushroom empenadas, my friend ordered steak tacos. The steak tacos were really good, with a nice portion. Meat had nice flavor, as did the aioli. No surprises with this dish, I mean steak tacos is self explanatory. The mushroom empenada was fantastic. Very rich, and filling. Just baked out of the oven with a perfect brown on the bread. Excellent flavor. Instead of the rosemary aioli, I had the mango jalapeño spread to dip into. Fantastic. Definitely coming back. Food took a bit to come out, but this isn't a fast casual dump. Its a little quiet neighborhood gem. Enjoy it.
