It is all great. The place is older, but ever so clean and nice. You will love it. The service is very friendly and they just don't sell stale cookies. It is hard to find great Italian cookies, and yes, we will drive to San Pedro to get them. We also love their cakes, they are not as sweet as some, they are perfect. Parkerhouse rolls, small french bread, and sour dough rolls are always a must during our family parties. As well as the delicious assorted cookie trays. My 50th is coming up and I decided to get a cake to share w my friends- asked around and got a recommendation for a shop that is known for "Italian Rum Cake." Okay, I've not had it nor am I Italian, but it sounded intriguing enough for me to order one and try. Paul the baker greeted me at the door and I was shown my cake...it smelled amazing and heavy!!! I was smiling ear-to-ear to my car, and took it home and tried the slice right away...you know, freshness counts. Oh, boy..yummy and complex- the rum is a nice touch, along with layers of custard. The cake had 4layers! The shop is in a humble location so don't expect a shiny eye candy shop. However, I recognize quality and love poured into a cake, and he's in our town so plus plus!
